Can an alien warrior who’s given up hope save a desperate woman and her unborn child?
Lauren knew the decision to have a baby on her own wouldn’t be an easy one. She didn’t know that she would be kidnapped by aliens whose only interest in her is as a breeding vessel. A desperate attempt to escape leaves her trapped and isolated - and about to give birth.
Commander Krestar spent more years than he cared to remember overseeing the attempts to rebuild the Cire species. Worn down by their many failures he flees the planet, seeking serenity amongst the stars. Instead he finds a beautiful female from an unknown species, alone, pregnant, and desperate.
He immediately vows to protect her and her unborn child, but the more time they spend together, the more he wants to be a permanent part of their lives. Has he finally found the family he’s always wanted, or will the challenges they face tear them apart?
Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for adults only.
Honey has such an incredible mind to create an amazing species like the Cire. They are honorable, and compassionate. Unfortunately, they are a race about to die out. A catastrophic incident took all of their females and the prospects of new life.
Creating new life through artificial means is always a sensitive subject. Commander Krestar's dedication to the survival of his race almost became his downfall.
Escaping mentally and emotionally, Commander Krestar's path in life changes when a distress call comes through alerting him of a pod ejected from a nearby craft. His life is irrevocably changed in more ways than one in the bounty he pulls from the pod.
This is such an amazing heartfelt read. I have so missed this series and the Cire💜.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
It's time for another series, but this time by Honey Phillips. Treasured by the Alien are a series of books that follow the same formula. An older woman is taken from Earth and is accompanied by a child, not always their own, and are subsequently saved by a lizard like alien called a Cire and then they fall in love and form a found family unit.
This one is about Lauren and Krestar. Two friends, pregnant Lauren and Felicity are both taken and end up needing to escape the ship in separate pods.
'Te amo con todo lo que soy, con todo lo que alguna vez seré.'

A Miracle for the Alien Warrior de Honey Phillips Serie Treasured by the Alien libro 11
Argumento:
No puedo esperar a leer Hope for the Alien Warrior, la historia de Felicity.
This was a surprisingly sweet sci-fi alien romance. It had plenty of steam, but many sweet moments with the alien Hero and the h's baby. The Hero adored all children, and it was so sweet how he would do anything for them. The way the alien H looked was a bit different, but that didn't seem to bother the h.
I adored Krestar -- he was just a sweetheart. I also liked that his entire Cire race was known for being honorable and trustworthy. He rescued Lauren, simply because he was too honorable not to help her, even though his ship was damaged in the rescue. Then he immediately fell in love with Lauren and loved that she was pregnant, and considered both of them his family.
Lauren was likable, too, and ended up being perfect for Krestar. I loved how both of them were such good parents -- especially Krestar, since Lauren's daughter was not his biological child and not even of his race.
Overall, I really liked this book. My favorite parts were the interaction between the aliens and the children. Most of them loved children, and it didn't matter to them at all whether they were human, alien, or mixed species.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
I’m getting back into this series and I think that I might know why I took my time coming back.
Maybe I’m expecting too much considering how humans are wired. But for these stories I should say how human females are wired.
The bonding speeds up the trusting process and the development of feelings they have for the other person.
So that made a story that I signed up to read shorter than I would have liked. I was hoping that they would find the friend and she could add a moment of reflection or co*k blocking distance for a day.
Instead she was given her own book. Since we all know that she ends up mated to her guy I would be reading the book to find out the rest of the details.
But back to this book. No bad drama between the couple. There is a problem , or three, that they worked together to get through, for the most part.
I do like the story, I just wish it was as a little longer and that there were bits of them hanging out with the people on the station in their part of it. I would have also liked to have seen the friend here again and even with her guy at the end of it book.
It felt like the author was going that way, but stopped herself for some reason. So you will have to read their book for any answers. Which just made it feel like it was a move solely done to give you another reason to buy the next book instead of giving this story a more expected ending.
I feel like the previous books had a more satisfying conclusion, but I did read them over a long period of time. Maybe I should do a series reread. But I think I’ll read a few more books firsts.
This is a nice sweet little book. I even feel that it could be connected to the last one I read. As in, it’s the same ship. But I have no proof.
I adore this series so much! I'm in very disappointed when Honey Phillips adds to this series. In this one Lauren and scientist whose focus is in robotics and her friend felicity who is a doctor are taken from Earth and when those who stole them come under fire They find an avenue of escape. The only downside to this escape plan is that only one person can fit into an escape pod so they're separated. That is when Laurens adventure begins. Her pod is found by Krestar a Cire commander. He's on patrol when he finds her. He's immediately drawn to her and the baby she carries and can't understand why. He's been told all his life that a Cire can fully bond with another Cire. But he can't help but fall for the beautiful intelligent human. The ship is damaged when he rescues her and they must find a place to make repairs. Lauren also wants to find her best friend but the baby decides that she too wants to experience space travel. So much happens in a short time but the birth doesn't go completely to plan and the ship is barely repaired. The only thing that is sure is the love growing between them with each passing day. Will Krestar be able to save the family he has been gifted with, will Lauren live to love both her new mate and child and will Felicity ever be found? You need to read and find out! This series makes me smile and makes my heart do a happy dance! I can't wait for the next one to come out!!!! Highly recommend🔥🌟🔥💖🌟🔥💖🌟💖🔥🌟💖💖🌟🔥💖🔥🌟💖🌟🔥🌟🔥💖🔥🌟💖🔥🌟💖
While not horrible, it’s not good either. Like wtf was this? It’s like the authors just wanted to spit out a book for the series rather than properly spend time writing a real story. Lauren is, I’m guessing, 45/46 yo based on chapter 1 and its description of her friendship with Felicity, where they met in Kindergarten and now it’s 40yrs later. 1) that’s really old to be having a baby, but sure ok, I mean nowadays celebs are doing it, right… 2) She proposes to Krestar that they eventually try to have another child in the future, like WTH!!! If she’s 45/46 now, hold old is she thinking she’ll be for pregnancy #2!?!!
Then the relationship between Krestar and Lauren was a bit fast, but ok that’s fine, and then it was just utterly boring. We need to fix the ship, I mean there were whole sections devoted to that repeatedly. Repeatedly! And other than the occasional, where is Felicity? conversation, there just wasn’t anything of interest. Lauren gives birth then gets ill and voila the epilogue is upon us. And in it all we find out is that Felicity is returning with a “surprise” and the end. Talk about cop out! So this wasn’t a full book, it was like a part 1. As the next book finishes the story with what happened to Felicity. Really really did not care for this one. It was boring and just not developed enough to be considered its own book. 😑 what a lame way to end what has been a pretty great series (until the next one…though not sure if I have high hopes anymore).
_______________________________________________________________________ I have no idea how Honey Phillips manages to release so many books a year and that I like them all, but she does. This book was no exception, and although it’s not one of my favourites, I recommend it as an enjoyable read to disconnect from reality. The story centres on Lauren, who the Vedeckians kidnap along with her friend Felicity. After some time on the ship, they find an opportunity to escape when it is attacked. They are forced to separate since the escape pods only have room for one person. Krestar, a Cire, rescues Lauren. I like how their relationship flows. Since Lauren is pregnant, Krestar wants to take things more slowly. Additionally, Lauren is determined to find Felicity and return to Earth. I won’t comment further on the plot; I’ll say it’s delicious and recommend it for a good time with a book.
“It’s a long way from frying a circuit to piloting a shuttle.”
Lauren is taking control of her life, getting what she wants, and trying not to be bothered by co-workers who aren't as great as they think they are. In many ways she has a normal, with a side of wonderful, human life. So, of course, some aliens have to come along and mess things up.
Krestar's ship has it's limitations, but when he sees something he can do, he heads in, committing to the task, even when an asteroid belt decides to add to the challenge. But, this time, his good deed is more than worth the headaches, and damage to his ship.
This done in one Kindle unlimited book has its characters take a mental and emotional step back from the lives they have lived, and pause to consider if they were as good as they thought... and as honest. Krestar faces some of the harder truths, the universe seemingly determined to show him first hand the truths that undermine the lies his world was built around. But part of what makes the man is how he handles the truth when faced with it... and Krestar proved himself a worthy hero for Lauren.
A few breadcrumbs are dropped about the next book, and I'm looking forward to it.
Another Cire warrior is up and, like most of the other males of his species, Krestar's resigned himself to living a lonely life without a mate. Then he pulls Lauren's escape pod onto his ship and EVERYTHING changes for the big guy.
Given that she'd been abducted and held on an alien spaceship, Lauren is a little tangled up when Krestar firsts rescues her, but she feels safe with the big warrior from the start. While she is worried about her friend who attempted to escape with her, it isn't long before Lauren is catching feelings and wondering if there's any possibility the two of them plus the wee one on the way could make a go at being a family.
No lie, Krestar is 100% down with that idea.
Some very bad aliens, a seemingly abandoned mining station (with aliens who aren't nearly as bad as they could have been), an adventurous tail, some steamy times on their ship, a warrior who is protective and loving, and a woman who knows a good thing when it happens to her. MAN, I like these warriors and their special someones!
These Treasured by an Alien stories always make me happy! Lauren is a kickass FMC. She's in robotics/engineering and she is a single mom about to have a baby. I also enjoyed her bestie, Felicity. The two of them have an unfortunate incident in the park with Vedeckians. Krestar is a Cire Warrior that works for the Patrol, but he mans a ship by himself and mostly does exploration. His story begins when he rescues an escape pod and his ship becomes damaged in an asteroid field. He gets the surprise of his life when he finds a very pregnant Lauren.
Read this book because... **I LOVE the Cire warriors! Krestar is a big cinnamon roll. **Lauren is a power woman. Single and pregnant. Completely capable. **Escape pod rescue in space. **Mystery on an abandoned space station. **Felicity is a great side character and mayyybe gets her own book soon... **Perfectly spiced! **An HEA that's perfect for Lauren and Krestar!
This was fun "proximity trope" and I loved it! And, shhhh, it's kind of the first part of a duet! 4.5 stars, 3 spicy emojis
Lauren and Krestar may just be my favorite Cire/Human couple. It's a tough call because I love them all. I do know Krestar is one of the sweetest males ever. Lauren is so strong and determined...not even being kidnapped by bad alien's can derail her for long. She figures out a way to save her best friend and herself from the cell they are being held in and that's when her adventure begins. That's when she is Rescued by Krestar. There is a very good reason the Treasured By The Alien's series is my favorite Syfy romance series. They are sexy, yes, but they are so much more. They are filled with so much heart, so much love and so much beauty that I always feel soft and happy when I finish reading them. But they are also filled with adventure and action. Honey Phillips writes the best books! I've never read a bad one and I'm pretty sure I've read (and own) all of them! 5+ stars just isn't enough.
This was another great addition to the Treasured by the Alien series and I loved getting to know Lauren and Krestar. This book had a good storyline and I enjoyed getting to see how Lauren and Krestar grew closer as the story continued as well as having some fun side characters. The epilogue was fun as well and I like that we got to see how some characters from other books are doing as well. I look forward to reading Hope for the Alien Warrior and finding out what happened with Lauren's friend Felicity & Luxor.
I received a free advanced reader copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
What a marvelous addition to a magnificent series !!! In this story a disillusioned Krestar has left Ciresia. He needs to feel useful and staying on the devastated planet is not it. Since the red death, nothing has been right. He is now a pilot for the patrol. And on this particular day, he has come across an unbelievable sight !!!
Lauren and her bestie Felicity are on their way home when they come across that weird ," fog " . Before they know what hit them, they wake on a Vedeckian trading ship. Lauren is hugely pregnant , but she tinkers in robotics. So after a time she escapes. But its chaos outside their area. What should they do ???? When Lauren and Krestar meet its very cute how they interact and learn about each other. And I'm always happy with a little action !!! And reading about past couples is just icing on the cake !!! Loved it , and looking forward to the next book !!!
I’ll admit, I haven’t read a lot of alien romance books, but this is by far my favorite. Human went women being abducted by aliens seriously bent on making a profit off of them not just women but babies. They’re heroes are a different race of alien that would do anything to have women they are compatible with. After red death decimated their world and left no women. Their race was left with basically what they felt was the end. Krestar tried and failed to help his race now he’s on his own. He receives a distress call from a pod, only to find Lauren, in an extremely pregnant state. This is their story and an amazing story about how two different species can come together through space, a little bit of heartbreak, a bit of misunderstanding, and a lot of loving feelings to become an amazing couple with a family on its way. They find love together, and something each of them was missing. An amazing story with an amazing ending.
I originally chose this book because the description of the book was reminiscent of a movie from the mid '80s called "Enemy Mine"; however, I was disappointed. First, although I know many readers want to read books with sex scenes and innuendos, I do not. Maybe there is some information somewhere I missed, but if I had known a great portion of the book would be devoted to the description of the chase and the consummation of physical attraction, I would not have downloaded it. An occasional sex scene I'm okay with, but it seemed the main point of the storyline was, well, to deliver porn. Second, the plot, or what I thought was the plot, was sorely underdeveloped. The premise was interesting, and the characters are interesting but again, underdeveloped. The book is relatively a short read that could have been longer and more interesting. Again, this book might be exactly what some readers want, but it was not what I expected.
A heartfelt steamy read with all the feels. Lauren is a pregnant human who is abducted by slave traders and about to be sold when she and her friend Felicity are separated but each able to take an emergency pod to get off the ship. She ends up rescued by Krestar. His planet has lost all their women to the Red Death infection and he believes he will die alone - never finding a mate. They both have mutual respect and caring from the start. Lauren is strong and not afraid to fight to be with her alien mate. Finished it in one setting since it was hard to put down!! Lots of steam and action. And of course, the scenes with the baby are so sweet. Next book in series will be about Felicity-can’t wait!!.

Krestar and Lauren, the latest Cire and Human couple, are everything you want from this series: A noble Cire commander, a smart, resourceful, human woman, and a found family! Lauren, heavily pregnant, and her best friend, Felicity, get abducted by the vile Vedeckians. As luck would have it, the Vedeckian ship comes under attack, the ladies escape, but they are separated. Krestar rescues Lauren, and their adventure begins! These two are super sweet, in need of each other to find happiness, and quick to fall in love. I love the secondary characters Krestar and Lauren meet on the space station, and I would love to know more about them! It is always nice to return to Trevelor and visit with old friends Hrebec and TeShawna, also! The stories in this world all feel like a big, warm, hug! I look forward to the next book, where we find out what happens to Felicity!
About to start her maternity leave, Lauren Maxwell was out walking with her best friend Felicity. As they walked further into the park, she noticed an eerie mist begin to cover it, and then two ghostly figures approach them. Next thing she knows, the two of them are in cells on what appears to be a space ship! When something hits the ship, forcing them to seek out an escape pod, they discover that none will hold the both of them, so they are separated. Commander Krestor var’Arenchar is minding his own business on his Cire ship, trying to navigate an asteroid field, when he’s alerted to an escape pod signal. While trying to secure the pod to help whoever is in it, his ship sustains damage. When he’s able to stabilize the ship somewhat, and open the pod, he receives the biggest surprise of his life!
I don't really know how she does it! fits so much into a short book without losing out on the heart of the story. It's like the others, a simple, fast-paced story full of found family and fated mates. There isn't too much plot. Women are abducted from earth, manage to escape, and find their big sexy alien who will do anything to protect them. Since its fated mates, they do fall for each other pretty quickly, almost insta love but not quite. This one follows Krestar and Lauren. Lauren decided to have a child on her own. She's pregnant when she gets abducted. Krestar is a patrol officer who comes across Lauren during her escape. These are great to read as a cleanser or just cause you want some sweet alien romance with a happy ending filled with a big, honorable male and his newfound family
I've always loved the Treasured by the Alien series and the Cire warriors and their honor and willingness to step up for their females and the little ones who are with her.
Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved Krestar and Lauren. I liked that she was pregnant here and Krestar- who would never see pregnant females of his own species, immediately wanted her for his own and to protect her. Despite her condition, Lauren isn't some weak damsel in distress. She's smart, learns quickly, and brave. I admit I was charmed by Krestar pretty quickly. I thought him sweet, caring, and patient. These two made a great match and I liked the chemistry between them. This story was a fun, sweet adventure. 5 stars.
I like how Lauren isn't afraid to jump in and figure out the alien technology. Krestar admiring her skills rather than being threatened or dismissive is quite nice. And he's so cute with her. His confusion about wanting her but thinking only another cire could be his mate is a little heartbreaking. They have an interesting journey but it allows for some time for the romance to really bloom. It's quite a lovely story.
I haven't read many books in the rest of this series but I might have to look into how all these locations and people interconnect. Because I definitely want to know more about a few of them. Especially Lauren's friend that is captured with her.
Lauren is abducted from earth while heavily pregnant and with her best friend. She awakens confused and quickly finds out they are to be sold. Lauren and her best friend are forced to separate while escaping in single being pods. It is fate that Lauren’s pod is picked up by Krestar a Cire. Krestar has been taught only a Cire can mate with an Cire however this does not stop him from caring for and developing feelings for Lauren. A friendship is formed between them that will lead to more. Pairing is important and these two are mutually respectful and kindhearted towards each other. Krestar immediate acceptance of Lauren’s baby is heart warming. Book ends in an HEA.

Two friends out for a a walk, one in late stages of pregnancy the other a close friend encouraging on one last outing before the baby is born. After seeing a tall light skinned person feel a sting pass out and wake win a large cell with a sore head and end alien observing them. They figured out how to escape the room just in time as the ship starts falling apart. Separated because all they found were one being life pods instead of a shuttle. The pregnant one gets picked up but in the process the rescue ship is damaged. Now she has to hope they can fix the ship and find her friends before she is recaptured or looses life support in the pod. The race is on. Good Read unresolved issues at end.
Another excellent story with heart. I loved that when they met it wasn't insa-love/lust, but more of a connection or recognizing your other half. Of course ,Krestar is an honorable Cire warrior. His first instinct is to protect a female. I loved the moment he finally had his epiphany of what Lauren really was to him and what his future could hold. Lauren is smart, learns quickly and uses her wit with helping solve the mess they are in. Action throughout. Steam to the slow burn romance. The perfect HEA for them. Can't wait to read Felicity's story.

Lauren and Felicity are best friends with a sisters like bond. When they're abducted together the bond keeps them sane. But the excitement is just beginning for these two when they get separated. This is Lauren's story and it is both scary and wildly compelling, and will have you reading it in one setting too! Krestar is disillusioned with his leaders and patrols the space quadrant alone, but risks his life and safety to retrieve a floating escape pod. I loved how open this guy was, how dedicated he was, and how perfect he seemed for Lauren. I loved this story and I'm dying to find out what happened to Felicity!
This is a series that I will always get the next book in. They are also something that if I am having a bad day I will turn to in order to cheer me up. The empathy, honour and caring nature of these Cire males never fails to win over the females set in their paths (me included I have to admit). Krestar is no different. He does not hesitate when Lauren tells him that her friend is out there too. As for Lauren she has chosen to life her life but her own rules and she is capable, compassionate and kind. These two are a very sweet couple and I really do hope that we are also get to have Felicity's story as well.
