It's bright, it's witty and it leaves enough space for the director to fill with their own vision (shout-out to Barbican theater for making the best out of it). This play deals with the concepts of identity and love and immigration and class but instead of being self-righteous, tragic and raging it's kind, compassionate and funny. Which is exactly what makes it so easy to relate to.
