It’s all my mother’s fault. She read to me when I was little and sparked my imagination. Now, my mind is the limit, and believe me, there’s no limit to my mind.
Hello, I’m Donna Michaels, NYT & USA Today Bestselling Award winning author of Romaginative fiction. I write romance through the H’s—Hot, Humorous, Heartwarming, with strong alpha cowboys and military men who are equally matched by their heroines.
With a husband retired from the military and now working at a brewery, four children, 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, several rescued cats, and my parents living with us, I never run out of material. From short to epic, my books entertain readers across a variety of sub-genres, and one has even been hand drawn into a Japanese Translation. Now, if only I could read it…
Donna Michaels never disappoints when it comes to her books. I love the genre of ex-military Alpha's who have squishy hearts when it comes to their women. Tyler is no exception. Grounded from the Naval Air Top Gun due to a freak accident he felt he had no purpose. When his sister and brother had him come to Texas and work for ESI he obliged with no expectations. The guys all told him he needed the love of a good woman but Tyler was totally gun shy when it came to women. While he was in the hospital his fiance' came and returned his ring and gave him the excuse she was meant to be with a pilot. Yeah she didn't love him. She just wanted the prestige of being with a Top Gun Pilot. So when Piper literally ran him down dodging a car his life changed right then and there. Cute read now playing catch up with my TBR list next book on the list Shadow of Hope HC Heroes Crossover while I wait for Wine and Research to release. Then 2 more of her series to read. LOL Like I said I Love her books.
This is book twelve in the HC Heroes series and it's back to Harland County. This story is about two broken people getting together and finding out life ain't so bad after all. Tyler "Ty" Bryson loved his job as a Top Gun pilot with the Navy, but a freak accident caused him to have to be grounded. He was grateful for his new job, but he really missed the flying, so yeah he kind of has a chip on his shoulder. Piper Monroe lost her husband four years ago so she thinks a change of scenery might be just what she needs. So she moves to Harland County to open an art studio, never expecting to actually run into her sexy neighbor while trying not to get run over by a car. The two hit if off from the beginning but when Piper is almost run over again, Ty knows that they have troubles. I will always love the small town feelings these books give me!
Ty is Harland now after leaving the Navy where he was a pilot. He is still angry for not being able to fly anymore due to a freak accident. Piper has come to Harland to start a new life after losing her husband. She will be opening a gallery. Ty and Piper are both gun shy but decide to take it slow. Someone is trying to kill Piper. After the two failed attempts, Piper isn't sure she can handle anymore until a third attempt happens. After that is resolved, can she move on with Ty?
"Tyler" (HC Heroes Book 12) by Donna Michaels was a fantastic read. I loved Tyler and Piper's story. This story had romance, passion, military veterans, family, friends, action, suspense, entertaining characters, and more. This was a terrific addition to this series. I hope there are more books to come in this series. I highly recommend it to all fans of romance, military, family, friends, and series.
I am throughly enjoying Donna Michaels HC Heroes series! Tyler is struggling to come to terms with his injuries and being medically discharged from the Navy. After losing her husband 4 years ago to cancer, Piper decides to move to Harland County for a fresh start. Tyler and Piper literally crash into each other and then the sparks start flying.
Tyler: The guys kept teasing Him that he will fall and he said no way. He thought not after what happen with is ex when he was in the hospital. Then he met Piper when she collided. He had seen her from a distant. He could not stop thinking about her. They had a connection. It was a wonderful story!
Donna Michaels always keeps you reading to find out what will happen next. This book is a perfect example of that. There are so many surprises that you can not figure out what will happen.
Ty and Piper meet when she's avoiding being hit by a car. The attraction is instant and neither fights it. Things progress quickly but danger is lurking for Piper. This is a sweet romance that flows naturally.
