Step back into the late 90s rock scene and finish Zak and Chase's story! No Half Measures is the second installment of a duet and cannot be read as a standalone. All 5 books in the series are interconnected and follow an overarching, chronological plot. For the best experience, reading in order is recommended.

The conclusion of Amped came with way more surprises than Zak Parker and her band had bargained for. But despite the recent implosion of her personal, professional, and romantic life, things are looking up for Saint of Spades.
Amid the glare of the spotlight, Zak's new friend, Izzy, has come up with an idea that will take them all straight to the top... and force Zak to face her demons.
Chase Payton never thought he would be the lead singer of a rock band, never expected to find his place among such a chaotic group of friends, and certainly never imagined the girl of his dreams would fall for him, too. Whether she wants to admit it or not.
He's gotten a second shot at fame, fortune, and happiness. Too bad Chase only cares about one of those things, and the other two are proving to be a major pain in his neck. The biggest players in the music industry have their own plans for this new life of his—leaving him with no other choice than to play the game.
I have enjoyed author Randi Mae’s ability to create complex characters, even in those who are not the spotlight of this duology. While this book and its predecessor are incredibly spicy, it does not sacrifice plot to do so, telling a complete story that had me riveted to the page!
I am eagerly awaiting the release of book three, Crowd-Pleaser!
The perfect happily ever after to Chase and Zak’s story. The character development in these two books was amazing and I can’t wait to read the third book. Complex characters, brilliant plot and the spice 🤌🏼 just the perfect combination to keep the reader intrigued. I feel in love with not only Chase and Zak but the entire band! I know we are getting Edge and Izzy’s story and I’m so freaking excited for Crowd Pleaser. Please check the trigger warnings before reading.
No Half Measures is the second novel in the Saint of Spades series. This is a continuation of book one and again as with the first I could not put it down. Randi Mae your writing is unparalleled and I felt every drop of sweat, burning spotlight, tortured moment and love that these characters felt for each other.
Zak and Chase continued to dance around their feelings for each other while trying to hold the fledgling band together while on tour with Izzy whom Chase had to be in a fake relationship with as a PR stunt. When Chase fully admits his feelings for Zak and she responds to his love it was truly everything. Even though we could all see it, I was happy they finally said the words. Together they are unstoppable, and their love story is truly a rock and roll fairytale.
Zak and her father Scott had a lot to work through and they did. Her feelings of abandonment and his quilt over leaving her as a child. Dallas dealing with his addiction, Alex and Edge just trying to deal with their own challenges while keeping the band together was all so well written and realistic I really felt like I was there for each moment as they experienced it.
I wish “The River” was a real song so I could play it on repeat. This book will live rent free in my head for a long time. It’s one of those stories that leaves you so happy and content in the end, but an emotional wreck on the journey. Thank you Randi for writing Zak and Chase. I can’t wait to read about Izzy and Edge. “The first of many”
No Half Measures is book 2 of All Strings Attached continuing the story of Zak and Chase. The perfect happily ever after to Chase and Zak's story. The character development in these two books was amazing and I can hardly wait to read the next book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well written rockstar romance novel.

A very strong sequel to all strings attached, I really enjoyed this even more than the first book. It’s a continuation of Zak and Chases’s love story told from both point of views which is a really good idea. Whilst it is a love story I liked how the grittiness and reality of the music world is a big part of the plot and not ‘glossed up’ and romanticised. My only criticism is the amount of times they said ‘I love you’ to each other, I thought it was a little over the top as we got the message loud and clear.
I was very glad to read at the end the next book will be about Izzy and Edge. We need more Izzy!
I received a copy of this book for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. I will actually pay for the 3rd instalment if I don’t get an ARC for it.
Not gonna lie, the ‘90s were my era, so I was always going to like this book. Zak (f) and Chase’s story concludes here (with the promise of more books to come about the band- squee!). Their love story was epic, and when they finally admitted how they felt *happy sigh*. The love story was key- and there was steam- but there’s more to the story. Keeping the struggling band together. Substance abuse issues. And Zack’s troubled relationship with her father. Together, these storylines wove into a beautifully written book.

ARC Review No Half Measures is the follow up to All Strings Attached and it was the best ending to Zak and Chase's story. It picks up where the first left off. The band starts to tour with Izzy's band and get a record deal. Zak and Chase fall more in love and stop denying it. There is some drama that happens and tests the band and the members.
This was a great duet. Chase and Zak overcame a few obstacles in their relationship to find their HEA. I was steamed about the publicity stunt in the beginning of this book but Zak took it like a champ! This was an interesting duet as it was a throwback to the 1990’s when rock and grunge were amazing and women were still making a name for themselves. I would recommend this for anyone who likes moderate spice and slow burn rock romances!
