This was a good read!! I really enjoyed this one even more than the second one! All of the banter, the spice and the drama!! There is so much going on that Kat is starting to slowly learn about. We're learning right along with her though we know a little bit more through Grim. The machinations that have gotten us to this point have been years in the making and wow the reveals have been amazing!! The mysterious gray is going to be interesting!! The most intriguing character throughout this series to me has always been Shamir. He has definitely been proving it in every book he's been in. I'm so curious about him!! I'm eager to see what's next for Grim and Kat!! They faced some relationship obstacles that made for some interesting scenes and make up sessions.
Which leads me into the spice. It was H O T. One thing I never have to worry about in this series is how good the spice has been! Grim and Kat have been the king and queen of spice since they first got together. This was a 5 out 5 for sure! Like hands down! Overall I give this book a 4 out of 5. I really enjoyed it! It hooked me from just about the beginning. It's really different to have a book have the shifters have a spirit that's a completely separate being. It makes for some entertaining conversations between the characters! Molly's will forever be trash to me now. The way the heats are handled is different as well, which I guess is expected since these are cat shifters v wolf shifters. I like it. I'd recommend this book to shifter and spice lovers!! Heck even MC lovers would like it. It's got everything! It's live now!! Go pick up Kit Kat, the 3rd book in the Maw of Mayhem series!!

I started this series backwards and now I have the books before this one to read but I’ve already ordered them because I have to know what happened before this book. This is my first by this author and it’s also the first book I’ve ever read like this but I really like that it’s a book about shifters and an MC. I recommend the book but definitely start with book one and not book three.

Kit-Kat and Grimdarke just get better and better with each book! They’re exquisitely dirty and satisfyingly gritty together as their relationship grows. I love the banter between them, their inner cats are so snarky, and it’s such a blast as they discover more about themselves. The rest of the characters are so interesting, revelations about Grim’s father and his protectiveness, and it’s so frustrating to watch Triss and Deuce!
A K Nevermore created a fascinating world: shifters, vampires, witches and others with so many different motivations. I’m loving Grim and Kat’s journey, seeing old allies become new allies, and enemies turned to mincemeat! I can’t wait to read more!!.

Another great read from AK and what a way to give us more of Kit & Grim and Kat and Darke. Spicy, sarcastic and full of dirty deets, this one had me wanting more and more. I highly recommend this book as a continuation of the Maw of Mayhem series

Kit-Kat by AK Nevermore is the third book in their Maw of Mayhem book series. I loved how this book reverted to the themes I loved in Book 1: Grim. Kit-Kat tells the story of how Kat integrates into the Mayhem MC club of cat shifters. Readers will love the banter, politics, and action of the MC club with a twist of the paranormal.
AK Nevermore expands her world in this book to include the werewolf shifters. I loved this addition because the interactions with the werewolves answer readers’ questions about Grim’s father, Claymore. Clay and Navarro, the leader of the werewolf pack, were close before he died. He gives us clues as to why such a benevolent pack leader would treat his son and step-daughter horribly. This isn’t completely resolved, but the amount of clues hooked the series’ claws deeper into me. Readers be warned, Clay’s past is the cliffhanger at the end of the book, and I must know his deal. I can’t wait for the next book – or perhaps Clay’s own book.
Just like the rest of the series, this book is packed with action, magic, and paranormal politics that will delight any urban fantasy fan. However, we see them through the eyes of Kit-Kat. The queen has arrived. I love how her character bloomed from an anti-shifter human to stepping into her role as Grim’s mate and the pack’s female leader. We learn her powers and watch her use them to enact revenge on characters who pushed her around in previous books. So satisfying. Nobody is immune. Kit-Kat even shows Grimdarke who’s boss and his response is explosive, hot spice.
My favorite parts of the book have nothing to do with Grimdarke or Kit-Kat. We revisit pack members who didn’t have big roles in Book 2: Darker. Deuce’s love life woes made me clench my fists in anger, cry, and cackle. Fated mates is a popular trope in shifter romance that is at odds with the culture of MC romance. I love how AK Nevermore uses humor to show the discrepancies through Deuce. He’s another character that I hope has a large part in future books or a book of his own.
Overall, I highly recommend Kit-Kat by AK Nevermore for lovers of MC romance, shifter romance, or urban fantasy. Readers won’t be able to turn the pages fast enough to keep up with the shifter pack dynamics, action scenes, steamy romance, and witty banter between MC club members.

Kit is in her era. This girl’s dealing with bombshells left and right, and she’s handling it like a boss. And those jealous bitches? Baybeee I was ready to throw hands on her behalf. She’s growing, she’s stepping into her truth, and I’m here for it.
Mikhil? Still a fave. Still need his book immediately. Still 10/10 would risk it all.
And the dynamic duo of Brick and Deuce?? I swear their banter nearly stole the whole damn show. The comedy, the timing, the wild-ass one-liners—I was howling. Pair that chaos with Kat and Grim’s dual POVs and their inner cats? It’s unhinged magic.
And look—there are so many characters now, I could start my own bracket—but A.K. Nevermore keeps that chaos under control. Somehow, despite the side arcs, Kit and Grim stay front and center. Their story holds the line while the world grows around them. It’s masterful. It’s hot. It’s clever. And I’m invested AF.
Also? The story structure here is sneaky-good. You get answers—real ones!—but then BAM, 20 more questions hit you square in the face. WHAT is the Grey? Is Shamir really in love with his wife, does he have his own agenda? Not this man bringing popcorn to an all out war.. I legit love him… I need more. Why do I want a whole spin-off for Chanté? Her story neeeeds to be told! oh oh oh WHO are the FAE??? yes people FAE! So let’s count… Vampires (Daddy A is everything) Witches (Chanté is the ride or die we all need) Shifters (Wolf, bear, cat, and probably more shit in between - AK’s imagination is amazing) and FAE - I can’t wait to see if we get more of those…..
This book? It brought everything I needed for a third installment. Built the world. Deepened the bonds. Set the damn stage. And now? Now I’m clutching my Kindle like a feral bitch and diving straight into the finale because I NEED TO KNOW.

Another great read by AK!
I have really been enjoying this shifter series and Kit Kat did not disappoint. She does an incredible job with not only writing shifter romances that are well rounded in the spice, storyline and plot department, but entwined with the MC troupe (which is very unique given that most authors don't entwine the two into a series. It was nice to learn more about Kit in this story and get lots of delicious spice in the process! As someone who isn't a huge fan of anything shifter related, AK is slowly turning me into a fan with the Maw of Mayhem series. Highly recommending this series to anyone wanting something a bit different! :)

This is another gritty and exciting installment and it takes off directly from where book two ended. Definitely reads these books in order ;) I have to say this was another wild reading ride filled with action, danger, suspense, secrets and steam. I love that the author continues to distinguish between the human side and their animal side, so we get more from Kit and Grim, but also Kat and Darke, their other halves. So fun! Of course, there's more sarcasm and steamy spice, too, so there really isn't a dull moment to be found in here. Good fun!

This novel picks up where the last one ended in the series. The MoM are forced into hiding, and old favourite characters and new ones are twisting the plot.
I must say, I enjoyed the reveals that answered many questions I had. I also enjoyed meeting the wolf pack. There is even more danger that isn’t addressed but I know that it will in future books when Kit…well, I don’t want to give it away, but it had to do with a certain vampire, and Grim isn’t happy about it.

What a fascinating, heart pounding ride for this bibliophile! There is trouble, there is steamy (and raunchy) sex, there is intrigue. Everything one is coming to expect from this author is delivered in this latest installment of Mayhem. I find I'm fascinated by the secondary characters -- they are far more intertwined than the usual supporting cast. Grab yourself a copy and hold on to the handlebars for a wild ride!

Great addition to the great books before this one. You r never lost even in between books. Great characters u will love and want to know more. Written in great details and easy to read. But WARNING you be hooked!!
