Usually when I get to the end of a series that I love as much as this one, I don't know how to feel, and I get into a reading slump. After finishing the Warriors and Mages trilogy, I feel really happy and satisfied. Faithful to V.K. Dixon writing (or should I say Rafferty antics), I laughed out loud at many parts, and felt like crying in others. This book was lengthy yet perfectly paced, and ultimately everything I hoped would happen with the characters did. Victoria, you write a beautiful love story! I loved what happened with the magic, the relationships, and the kingdom (the title was especially fitting), and I was pleasantly surprised with some of the character arcs. Terraeus is a beautiful world that I look forward to getting lost in again soon via the short story collection Pirate Duology (literally I think about it all the time) and whatever other ideas Victoria comes up with in the future!

Thank you SO MUCH for letting me be an ARC reader! I have enjoyed this series thoroughly, and they have set a new standard for me!

One day I’ll come up with a more eloquent review, but I loved this book and I loved this series. When I saw the author pitch this as a “Skyrim meets Jane Austen epic fantasy”, I was so excited. It lived up to my hopes for a book series marketed as such.

The characters were memorable and relatable, the romance was honest, the banter made me laugh, and I really liked the ending (which I can be picky about). I teared up at the end because I realized the series was over, and I had to say goodbye to these characters. But the message of this story will stay with me: adventure is worthwhile but, in the end, who you spend that adventure with, who you love and being loved, matter *more*.

The absolute perfect conclusion to this series. I am so so sad it is over. But also content and satisfied with how it all came together in the end.

As I read, I frequently stopped to appreciate the character and relationship developments throughout the trilogy. It has been so wonderful to see the growth and redemption - and despite every character having very human flaws, the ways they are valued and cherished for who they are.

I can confidently say that Warriors & Mages is my favorite series - fantasy and otherwise - of all time.

This whole series was so fun. I enjoyed Victoria's character driven writing. I believe these books are NA or Adult audience intended. With that, I'd personally feel more comfortable recommending this series to people 18+ as it has some language, innuendos and fade to black/closed door scenes but I'd say for the most part, Victoria's writing is cleaner than most of what's on the market. If you want Jane Austen meets Skyrim, Warrior’s & Mages is the perfect book for you!

So sad for this series to come to a close for now. But I am so incredibly happy with the story, the character arcs, and all the banter the other two books held.

This is honestly my favorite series ever and I cannot wait for publication so I can read physical copies! 💛✨

This was such a good series! Beautifully written, enchanting, and moving. The magic system was fresh and interesting. The characters were lovable and the losses hurt, but didn't feel forced. If you're looking for your next fantasy adventure with a romance to make your heart sing, look no further!

Wishing this series wasn’t coming to an end, but I am so excited to see what Victoria comes out with next, especially/hopefully within the Terraeus universe! I’ve said this before, but the Fire and Night series is really what got me into romance novels. I am not a fan of spicy books nor do I love the really soppy (imo) kind of books. Warriors and Mages is neither of these, so if you’ve been hesitant because it is a Romantasy book for these reasons, I couldn’t recommend it enough!
