Ignoring all the tasteful drama (like give me all the tea please), the twists, the secrets, the mystery and the handsome men, there is one specific thought I want to share:
You know all those epic teenage drama series that were on TV once? Like Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diaries and that kind of shows? They were good with ending the episode on a cliffhanger. Reading those books feels like that.
You spend some time reading one of those books, kind of like watching an episode, and then there is a freaking cliffhanger that makes you want to continue to the next one RIGHT AWAY.
It's great.
((And staying in the TVD universe:
Now I think about it, Carlo and Stefan kind off remind me off Klaus and Elija. (Contains small spoilers) Like Klaus who is a bit obsessive and likes to force peeps he loves to stay close and is all controlling and such, AKA Carlo. And Elija who will murder everyone if he has to, or do whatever it takes to reach his goal, but if you really want your freedom or someone else, he would let you do what (or who) you want.
And to go and dive in a hole, I am now connecting very many ropes to TVD characters and I kind of love it. LOL))
