आज का दौर सूचना क्रांति (Information revolution) का दौर है जिसमे हर तरफ ढेर सारा ज्ञान/अज्ञान परोसा जा रहा है । बहुत ही आकर्षक दिखाई/ सुनाई देने वाली दुनिया की चका चौंध मे आज हर कोई इतना खो सा गया है की उसकी खुद की प्राथमिकताए दिशा हीन हो चुकी हैं। और जब ऐसा दिशाहीन जीवन एक dead end पे आके रुकता है जहां से आगे का कोई रास्ता नज़र नहीं आता । तब ज़रूरत होती है एक कुशल ‘सारथी’ की, जो जीवन को वापस मार्ग पर ला सके, और इस धरती पे जो सबसे कुशल ‘सारथी’ हुए हैं, उनही का संदेश, आज के दौर की जीवन शैली के अनुसार ‘सारथी का साथ’ के रूप मे प्रस्तुत करने का प्रयास किया गया है ।

In this era of Information revolution a lot of knowledge/ignorance is being served everywhere. Today everyone has messed up their priorities under the influence of the unreal glamor of the world. And when such a directionless life reaches a dead end, there is a need for a skilled 'Charioteer', who can bring life back on the path. 'Saathi Ka Saath' is an attempt to discover proven remedies for the modern day problems/ dilemmas from the message of the most skilled 'Charioteers' who ever walked this earth.

Nikhil Goyal is a sociologist and author of Live to See the Day: Coming of Age in American Poverty (Metropolitan/Macmillan, 2023). He served as senior policy advisor on education and children for Chairman Senator Bernie Sanders on the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions and the Committee on the Budget. He developed education, child care, and child tax credit federal legislation as well as a tuition-free college program for incarcerated people and correctional workers in Vermont.

Goyal has appeared on CNN, Fox, and MSNBC, and written for the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Time, The Nation, and other publications. He was a Kathryn Davis Fellow for Peace at Middlebury College and Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Fellow at the Library Company and Historical Society of Pennsylvania.

Goyal earned his B.A. at Goddard College and M.Phil and Ph.D at the University of Cambridge. He lives in Vermont.
