It's been six years since Cam left Boston and disappeared from Eric and Seth's life. However, Cam's safety comes crashing down when the enemy seeks her out, sending her back to Boston in fear of her and Dylan's life. Between keeping Dylan safe and dealing with the fall out of her six year disappearance, Cam doesn't know if she can handle what's coming. Not only is she changing into something she doesn't recognize, but everyone around her is keeping secrets that could determine if she lives or dies.
This final instalment earned a worthy 4 stars. No matter the mistakes I'd read in it or the rambling writing style, the story really came through in the end. Parts of the story was a little predictive but didn't impact on the overall emotional state of the reading. I've gotta say that when I started reading the series I didn't expect to be invested into the characters and although the story seemed interesting it felt like it wasn't going to keep my interest in it. If you can get passed the mistakes in the book you will find this a pretty awesome read and a fast read. P.S. I had my tissues on standby with the last book...
