This book begins with the formation of the Earth and astronomy, and provides easy-to-understand explanations of geology, earth science, and astronomical science.
Since the book was written more than 10 years ago, the layout seemed a little outdated, but it covered important points about the universe and helped me understand the overall picture.
For those looking for detailed information on astronomy and space science, the following books from the same DK series are recommended.
