Cursed Betrayal

Rate this book
Eran has been raised with the knowledge that it's his duty to his people and his country to be a Cursekeeper— to cleanse the land of the taint left behind from bad deeds and bring it into himself, locking it away forever. When he's chosen to take on the burden instead of Master Cursekeeper, due to his strength of will and other criteria he's never been told, he believes he's been given a great honor. Instead, he finds himself questioning everything he's ever known when he's attacked while cleansing a curse on the border between Sandir, his homeland, and Haln, the country they've been at war with for hundreds of years. Rescued by a mysterious Halnian Guardian, Eran quickly finds himself torn between his rapidly growing affections for Aldanon and his duty to his country.

Will Eran choose to betray his country, or has his country already betrayed him, along with every other Cursekeeper they've raised?

Cursed Betrayal is a romantic fantasy with a sheltered main character and a protective love interest. It's an open door romance with some heat at the end, and it has a guaranteed happily ever after for our two heroes.
