o Summary: This book is about different types of mammals. It gives facts about many different mammals. It is a fun book for visual learners to look at and a fun book for those science loving kids to read! Great for a science class.
o Grade level: third
o Appropriate classroom use: When learning about mammals
o Individual students who might benefit from reading: Kids who need to learn about mammals or kids who are very interested in science
o Small group use: Fun read during quiet time
o Whole class use: I probably would not use this as a whole class book just because it is really long and has a lot of information to comprehend.
o Related books in genre/subject or content area: fact books about mammals would be good ones to keep with it!
o Multimedia connections available: YouTube videos that are appropriate for the grade level

I really enjoyed this book, because it had all these facts about mammals. I learned a lot and anyone who would read this would too. Some of the creatures in here are camels, anteaters, and wolves. So, therefore, if you love any of these creatures get this book. You'll be surprised at what you discover.
