In addition to watching couples meld their lives together, Season Two includes two couples dealing with losing one of their own and two others who find themselves entangled in a far-reaching conspiracy against the woman who played matchmaker for all the couples.
It's quite the unusual mix. I'm really curious to see how it all plays out.
Oohh it's getting spicy!! Audrey Carlan sure knows how to bring the heat! Seriously I'm here for it. Will book 4 of TMA give you the answers you're looking? I guess you'll have to keep going to find out!
I can’t say this enough, I love this series!! I am predicting this will be a 5 ⭐️ read for me!! The way Audrey Carlan ends each book making you go directly to the next book is fantastic!! This storyline has everything from drama, suspense, heartfelt emotions (tears), to romance & spice!! I will be sad when this series ends and need the author to write another series pronto!!
Things are heating up for the couples but will this tear them apart or bring them closer? I wasn't sure about a couple of the pairs but they've all grown on me and I'm rooting for them all to work out and thrive.

“Whoa, that was hot,” I blurted. “Right? He makes me melt. So hot I want to climb him like a tree,” Faith breathed, clearly about ready to do just that. “You want to climb Daddy?” Penny asked. “You’re too big.” “Psshhh! I assure you I’m not, little miss!” Faith grinned, her gaze plastered to Joel’s smirking face.
Jack grinned in that boyish way that made my heart pound and my coochie clench. “A whole houseful?” he repeated.

My thoughts:🔖Page 136 of 297 Episode 72 We Didn’t See it Coming MADAM ALANA - This isn't so bad, some of the drama and suspense has died down with the expectation to rise in the next book. It is a little annoying that everyone has parallel stories with corruption, abuse, and ties to previous characters but I guess it makes sense for all of the super-rich to run in the same circles and for the auction to be by word of mouth.
This ended sooner than expected. It's a bit too connected I'm starting to feel like I'm going in circles.

This serial makes up four complete novels. Written in first person from multiple POV, all receive HEAs at the end of book 4. The story develops as the candidates and the bidders are introduced in book one. Four couples and Madam Alana’s ties to them are the focus of the series. Couple one: Memphis Taylor is a golden retriever hero who falls fast and hard for his bidder, Naomi. She is a complete boss babe, multi-millionaire. There is a focus on family in their story as they overcome obstacles on the way to being together forever. I loved how Memphis dotes on Naomi. I loved how Naomi sees Memphis and his family for the good people they are despite their disparate backgrounds. I loved their heat and the care they showed each other. Couple 2: Maia and Rhodes are drawn together as an unlikely couple. Maia has a tragic past and Rhodes is immediately protective of her because of her sad eyes. Though they have an age gap, it is never an issue because Maia has lived more life in her short 24 years than most. They have many challenges to overcome on the way to their happy ending. They too have a focus on family in their story. I love the relationship Maia builds with Rhodes’ daughter, Emily. I love the way Rhodes helps Maia get her family back. They are hot together and I adore that they are always on the same page once they get started. Couple 3: Jack and Summer are definitely in the opposites-attract category. She brings sunshine into his life like he never thought possible. Jack has lived a life with loss. He experiences more in this story, yet Summer stands with him all the way. They formed a beautiful relationship together and it made me cry and smile. Family is important to Summer, and it is all Jack ever wanted. Over the course of their story the realize their dream of a big, blended blood/found family. I adored Summer’s easy way of being. It was perfect for Jack. Couple 4: Julieanne and Giovanni have known each other their whole lives. When Madam Alana and the auction bring them together (finally), they start off a little rocky. It doesn’t take long for them to realize that together they can survive anything. Their story has loads of devastation that was handled carefully by the author. Their love was already there, the auction just allowed them to realize it. Madam Alana and Christophe play a large role in this series. Readers will gain the most by reading Madam Alana’s book before this series. Her past intertwines with the future of some of these couples in a way that was unexpected and full of suspense. I loved seeing her with Christophe as they navigate the challenges and danger they encounter in this story. I adored seeing the loving relationships she built with the auction participants. This serial was full of suspense, danger, loss, hot times, love, and family. Beautifully written, I couldn’t put it down. Originally published on the Kindle Vella platform, there were hints of a continuation of more books in this world. Now that Kindle Vella has announced it will be ending, the author plans to take a break and may or may not continue with more stories in this world. I am not a serial reader and I took advantage of the full novels once they were in kindle unlimited. I am hopeful that the author does continue with more stories. I would love to see both Autumn and Diego get their HEAs. If she does not, then I will try to imagine a HEA for them in my mind.
I just continue to devour and love this series and I am here for it. I truly can’t get enough of this world and these books. They have so much spice, so much love and romance, so much connection, and there are twists and turns galore that I truly can’t get enough of. These books are addicting and I love getting to watch all of these stories play out. I truly truly cannot say enough how much I love these books and this entire world.
This third installment of the second season has just catapulted me back into the world of these couples and has shown me that I need everything with them. I am beyond invested, I love their love stories, I love that each, and every one of them is figuring out how to get to their happily ever after, and I just love how this author throws me right into the story. She puts me right in the heart of the love and the action and the craziness and it is everything. It makes for a seriously entertaining and encapsuling read from start to finish.
I also just have to say I love how much these characters just love each other. They love each other with their whole hearts. They are willing to fight for each other. They want everything together. They just love each other wholeheartedly. They are in it. From the very start, they’ve been in it, but every new moment with them shows that they want each other and they want this to work out. They’re all committed to being with each other well past the end of what that supposed contract said, and they are just ready. I love that about them and I love how these characters aren’t afraid to share what they feel for each other, aren’t afraid to connect with each other, and how they just love each other. It is everything to experience that.
I am seriously addicted to these books. I love how they are crazy and consuming, and how it just works. I just can’t get enough of the premise of this entire world, the way that these characters fall for each other, and the way that this author just makes it all so enjoyable to read . She truly has a way with words and definitely knows how to get you in her stories. I have felt that in every one of her books that I’ve had the pleasure of reading, but this series takes it to a whole new level.
I have loved every book of this series, and this one was truly no different. It continued my love for these characters, it continued the action and trauma, it continued to show me that I am addicted to this world and want everything with these characters. I truly cannot wait to see how this author plans to bring it all to a close in this last book but honestly, I’m already thinking about how I want the series to continue and how much more I need with this entire world and all of these characters. I just love it and I truly can’t say enough how enjoyable it has been reading these books. I have gotten everything with these characters and has truly been the best!
Please note: this is book three in season two of this series. This is the third installment of four books that complete this seasons full story. So if you have not read book one and two in season 2 go back!
Everything has absolutely exploded in book three. It is the ultimate arc of the story and where everything changes. I must admit I didn’t see the plot twists coming and I really enjoyed that gasp moment. I’m keeping it spoiler free but I will say it is the book you simply cannot put down because the action and tension are so high you will read until dawn to know what happens next. It’s all on the line here, and our characters will be tested more than anyone could have expected. Our couples will also be tested and show what their commitment really means. Fans of Madam Alana will love how much we get of her in this season, and I surely hope you have taken the time to read her novella too because it will be great information to have here for season two! I cannot wait to see book 4s culmination of all of these epic stories!
Narration: the narration continued to exceed all expectations, minus the voice for Jack. It might be a personal preference but I feel really thrown off by the accent which isn’t Norwegian from what I can tell and the pronunciation feels wrong, but again I could be wrong here. However every other narrator was fantastic and added so much emotional value to the story and really brought it to life! I will definitely re-listen to this again and again!
Thank you Brilliance Audio for this ALC in exchange for my honest thoughts.
The author has certainly exceeded my expectations and more. I began reading this simply to sample a story on Vella, and now I'm engrossed in the cliffhangers of all four couples' tales. Jack and Summer are off to see the Northern Lights near Finland, tasked with scattering the ashes of their friends Troy and his wife, who passed away within two years of each other, leaving Jack to care for their son, TJ, also known as Troy Jack. I suspect Summer and her family will hold another ceremony in conjunction with releasing their friends' ashes in that vicinity. Meanwhile, Alana faces threats, and as the owner rather than part of an auction couple, her predicament impacts Maia, Rhodes, and Emily. The identity of the woman attempting to dismantle Gio and Jules' family remains a mystery. Then there's Naomi's father, Abraham, a supreme snob who believes he can control his adult daughter's life, presumably because his wealth makes him think he can dictate his family's choices. He insists she marry a childhood acquaintance, but she resists, determined not to comply unless her father coerces her, preventing her from marrying Memphis. So, we have these cliffhangers, and I am glad I have one more book to read, maybe we will see how all these situations come to a conclusion and what they have to go through to get their marriage on the right track, I am hoping we don't lose anyone of our couples along the way.
Julianne and Giovanni: After admitting their love for one another Julianne and Gio continue to have obstacles placed in their path to happiness. Bianca is the main reason we see the upheaval within their family. We also can see glimpses of how she may or may not connect Julianne and Gio to another storyline in Book 3. We end Book 3 with another bang! Bring on Book 4.
Summer and Jack: Summer and Jack have begun to connect their families together but through tragic events. Sadness brings strength. Summer and Jack are learning that about each other very quickly. Through their love and strength the future looks bright even when darkness invades.
Memphis and Naomi: As Naomi becomes apart of Memphis’s family, the realization hits both of them that money cannot buy happiness. Naomi feels the love from Memphis and his family that she had been lacking, as well as, the voice to confront her parents about the way they approach their love for her. A beautiful wedding is in the works as long as Naomi’s parents stop meddling.
Maia and Rhodes: Maia and Rhodes love story is one that begins with traumatic events of the past impeding on the present. Their story is deeply rooted in Alana and Christophe’s beginning. The scary events that surround them in France are ones that prove that love conquers all, at least for the moment.
I fear for more trouble in Book 4 for all the couples before the happily ever after can take place. Bring it on!
In The Marriage Auction: Season 2, Volume 3, Audrey Carlan takes us deeper into the complex and intriguing world of the Marriage Auction. This series follows women who, for various personal reasons, agree to be auctioned off for marriage to wealthy bidders, each with their own agendas and desires. In this volume, the emotional stakes rise as we see more of the personal challenges each woman faces, from navigating unfamiliar relationships to confronting secrets from their pasts.
The plot picks up where the previous volume left off, throwing readers right into the ongoing drama. While the middle of the book slows down to focus on character development and backstory, it lays the groundwork for the explosive, action-packed second half. The tension builds steadily, culminating in twists that keep you guessing until the very end.
The mix of high-stakes romance and suspense makes this book a gripping read, despite the slower pacing in the middle. Carlan keeps readers invested in her characters and the dramatic world they inhabit, and the action-packed finish leaves you excited for what's next!
Just when you thought that these books might just start to get less angsty, we are proven wrong. Audrey has done such a great job at keeping me on my toes with this series, and books. Mini cliff hangers at the end of each chapter, and then she continues to pound with the angst, drama, suspense, but also giving us all the spice, and love throughout the book. The 4 couples continue to live life, get to know one another, but that doesn’t come with some sort of conflict for them. Learning about the past, what makes them tick or insecure but also finding ways to communicate and love each other throughout all the obstacles thrown their way. It’s hard to believe that when we get to the end of book three only 2 weeks or so have passed from the beginning of the storyline. We continue to see the past characters make appearances. I also love all the families we have been introduced with from the candidates and bidders. Well, not all of them… Naomi’s family and Maia’s family that’s a different level. And, as a reminder in this on audio is on point. Multicast narrations that are just a chefs kiss. Great read and listen.
Kidnapping / Death / Explosions – Not so nice characters from Madam Alana’s past appear. This book is full of excitement and drama.
Naomi / Memphis – Memphis takes Naomi to meet his family. They love her and accept her unconditionally. Her family will not accept Memphis and are horribly rude to him and his family.
Jack / Summer are learning about each other and doing well until Jack receives some devastating news. Will Summer stick with him through this? Is their love strong enough?
Rhodes / Maia – Maia takes Rhodes to meet her family and help her mother – Chaos reigns. Emily and Alana are kidnapped.
Giovanni / Julienne - Gio is recovering from the attempted seduction from Bianca. Unsure of what is going on with her, but she seems to be in the middle of all that is chaotic! Brenden, Gio, and Julianne are hurt in an explosion. Brenden is hurt badly.
Holy crap batman!!! That ending was literally fire. I am still trying to pick my jaw up off the ground. As emotional as book 2 was, book 3 takes it to a whole new level of crazy emotion. The characters seem to be against all odds and it is only getting worse. I just don't know where the upcoming book is going to end up. It has me on the edge of my seat.
If you have not read the first books in the series, my suggestion is get to it because you will not understand what is going on in this book without them. Definitely not stand alone reads. These book are like watching an actual show. Each of the four couples plus Alana's story is told throughout each book. Each with nail biting events happening all at once. Each book is intense and full of action and devastation. Like a train wreck you just can't seem to look away from.
Now on to the last book of Season 2. Who will live and who will die? This seems to be the question on everyone's minds.
The Marriage Auction 2 Book 3 Audrey Carlan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh these book endings are killing me… you will seriously need to start the next as you finish. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
I’m loving this series so much! I love the characters, and despite my best efforts cannot choose a favourite. Just when I think yeah, it’s…... that chapter the new one begins, and the characters take over my life. It’s almost disturbing 😂😂
So, I’m not sure how yo write this review because I don’t want to ruin it and if I give a little away it ruins everything. SO DO IT! GET THIS SERIES, and while I’m at it, you gotta read the first one.
Join the live lives, drama, laughter and tears of Gio, Julianne, Rhodes, Maia, Summer, Jack, Memphis, Naomi and the one who needs no introduction madam Alana and Christophe!!!
Thank you to Brilliance Publishing for the gifted audiobooks.
Hello, it’s me. I’m here to admit I have a problem…with not being able to stop listening to these audiobooks. The Marriage Auction Season 2 has me in a chokehold. It has everything I love:
💍instalove 💍action/suspenseful plot 💍multiple POVs with different narrators for all of them 💍emotions that pull at my heartstrings 💍an addictive story that makes me unable to stop reading 💍just the right level of steam and spice
What’s in these books that I can’t resist? I’ll never know, but I can’t get enough of this telenovela-esque story. Congratulations to the author for fully inhabiting my waking hours for the past week and for creating characters and plots that are so intriguing, I’m willing to do more chores to continue listening. All I know is I’m already ready for the next season. Latin Mafia, here we come.
I can't believe this series gets better and better. I love all the Characters in this one. I can honestly say I enjoyed this better than TMA 1. The pairing of these couples is brilliant. Audrey has done it again. It's fun, hot, and keeps you wanting more. Like I said for the first season, if it was only that easy to meet your perfect match, haha. Made me wonder if I can be in the auction? Cause I don't have money to buy a candidate, lol. Umm, maybe become Madame Alana. I know we all love to escape in our books. Do yourself a favor and grab series 1 if you haven't. Then get second season. Audrey, please tell me there will be a third. Cause sign me up. Thanks for giving us a great escape In the world of love
Yesterday I was having deep, analytical conversations with my hubs about these books... you know, the kind where we readers go into every detail, and the people in our lives completely glaze over? Anyway, I finally realized that this series is like a mega-budget action movie with A LOT of sex. I don't know how these people can run billion-dollar companies, dodge bullets, have casual conversations with hitmen, make back-and-forth transatlantic flights with minimal jetlag, meet parents and/or awful family members, deal with crazy exes, and still have the energy to be doing the horizontal mambo constantly. I guess what I am trying to say is that this book is an escape from reality. So, if that's your jam, enjoy!
5 star Review The Marriage Auction (Season 2, Volume 3) by Audrey Carlan
When I read the blurb for this series, I just had to read it as I was intrigued. There was so much going on in this book that I had trouble putting it down when real life got in my way.
Each person has a different reason for entering into the Marriage Auction and that is what made this so entertaining. The characters were easy to relate to and their stories intriguing, There was a good balance of romance and heat with strong determined women who have goals and are focused on seeing them achieved, no mater the cost.
This was well written and I cannot wait for more in the series.
In book 3 of the Marriage Auction, season 2, the author, Audrey Carlan, gives us even more spice and heat than we’ve seen up to this point. Beware though – this is the third book in the season, so you should read the first two books for you to really appreciate this one. In this book, our couples are navigating through their feelings for each other, but as the reader, you are waiting for another obstacle to crop up. Book 3 doesn’t disappoint, unless you don’t have book 4 immediately ready and available to dive into, because of course, the author left us hanging at the end, dying for the final installment of the season!
Oh. My. Holy. Crap! I am not going to survive this series!! Ending the book with an explosion?! I just can’t. I just want to say that this is some of the most brilliant writing I’ve read in a while! Keeps you on your toes, your heart is in your throat, you’re both loving and hating characters throughout this series - this book especially seems like the crap just hits the fan for all the couples. I hope these characters get some kind of reprieve in the final book. And please can someone please get rid of Bianca and tell us exactly why the heck she’s doing this to everyone!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is getting better each and every episode. Seriously! I‘m blown away!
Naomi and Memphis dealing with her family not approving of Memphis and her union but they‘re both powering through that!
Jack and Summer.. oh my! I seriously loved these two! After losing his sister Jack and Summer have traveled to Norway to take care of her son. Their story is emotional and I‘m genuinly in love with these two and their family!
Gio and Julianne…. oh wow! Their story is getting more twisted then the other. My mind is blown! I‘m not even sure how this will end!
I love how Rhodes, Maia, Julianne, Gio and Alana‘s story is so interconnected!! I can‘t wait to read the final episodes!
Audrey Carlan!!! How do you keep doing this?! Building such incredible stories and leaving us doing granny hands for the next book! After the ups and downs with Memphis and Naomi, Rhodes and Maia, Gia and Jules, Jack and Summer, and of course, Christophe and Alana you have the last chapter end with that?!
I am enthralled with every word and every part of their stories. It’s like I’ve been dropped just to the room while each story is playing out and able to feel with they’re feeling. I have paused my reading just long enough to write this and then I’m heading straight to Book 4.
Omg, where do I begin? I highly recommend you read The Marriage Auction book one first. It's not necessary, but it helps you understand the characters a little better. Audrey Carlan is a master at keeping you engrossed in her characters. You may not have much in common with some of them, but she draws you into their world, and you can't wait to see what she has in store for them. This series will make you laugh, then cry. Hold you in suspense as your trying to figure out the bad guys. Absolute delight to read and I highly recommend it!
Wow, just Wow, I have no words…. This book is so amazing. I can not believe all the stuff and the things that happen (Don’t want to spoil it for anyone). You need this book and series in your life right now. Yes, this book ends in a cliffhanger, but don’t you worry it picks right back off in the next book. The couples make you want the very, very best for them and make you want to take the people out that get in their way of happiness. Buy this book, Buy the series, In fact buy everything that this author has written it will be so worth it.
This just keeps getting better and man I was so scared to start this thinking it wouldnt go where I was thinking, Glad it didnt Then I cried like a baby for TJ just love summer. still cant quite figure out the whole thing with the mafia and Madam Alana, christoph, Julianne, Gio , Bianca, Maya, Rhodes I know they are gonna go together but Ugggg! Memphis is a true southern gentlemen and think hes my new favorite Dam another cliff hanger
Thank you for bringing the season 1 characters in also
After the marriage auction concludes, couples must be wed within 30 days of signing their contracts. For these couples, they might have difficulty making that deadline.
Each of the couples are finding different challenges that they are having to face. Some are simple family dramas and others are life threatening.
I’m finding myself more invested in certain couples than others. I also feel like some of them are going to have their stories intersect with others.
Like the other books, this one leaves off on a good cliffhanger.
Oohh… you must be kidding me right now…. Why does this author always do this to me? Every chapter ends and every book’s end is the same thing, I’m about to have a panic attack at any point right now….. I was so blind, how come I haven’t seen that this Bianca was a farce since the very beginning???? She’s got in my nerves every time she appears and I hadn’t any clue that she’s was making such moves behind the curtains….. and then a new character comes out of hell to make everyone’s life a mess, including my own….
