The Queer Dictionary was put together by Anthony Doubek to help make it easier to navigate the LGBTQ community in all it's complexity. Filled with 100 terms and definitions, the Queer Dictionary helps it's reader understand all the different terms found in the community. It also has lists of resources for further reading and a full chapter on what it means to be an Active Ally.

About the author

I am a trans-gentleman looking to make a difference in this world. I was born female but that does not make me any less of a man. I believe that everyone has the right to self-determination and that no one has the right to tell another person what they are or aren’t. I believe in Universal Human Rights and in a higher power that is not full of wrath and rules but just pure creative and loving energy.

I have dedicated my life to making positive change in the world through my work as an LGBT activist. I am currently a Political Science Major at University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and plan on working with organizations like the Human Rights Campaign, National Center for Transgender Awareness and others in the activist community after I graduate.
In the meantime, I use social media to spread a message of equality.
