This book might seem cliche with revenge, billionaire mmc, fake dating and all, but trust me, this book was amazing. This book is fast paced so if you want to get out of a reading slump, this book is highly recommended and you even can finish reading it in a day or two.
Now, I've always read books where the mmc is grumpy and the fmc makes him smile and all, but in this book, the fmc doesn't even have to try, he's already a simp for her. I mean, at the workplace or somewhere else, he's grumpy, but when he's with her, he's all smiley-smiley and I love this thing about this book.
Also, I love the nickname he has for her, it's new one and definitely not a cringe one. It's kinda cute.

Chelsea is this Pilates loving bubbly FMC who brings out the fun in Evans serious lifestyle. I couldn’t help but smile anytime they were together!!

Definitely one of my favorites this year!
Ah, the emotions this book stirred in me—I was on fire reading it. I would have finished it in one sitting if I didn’t have exams!
Sharon, dear, you have outdone yourself.
Evan is the perfect boyfriend anyone could ask for—such a gentleman! From opening doors for her, making sure she’s well-fed, to even attending her Pilates classes. He even got all his brothers to attend her first class!
And Bobby... oh my God. Every time he appeared and did something to hurt Chelsea, I wanted to break my Kindle and scream.
Overall, I’m definitely recommending this book to everyone—even my non-reader friends. I’ll force them to read it! 😂

Okay so, this book was so freaking cute and fast paced.
We follow Evan, a closed-off CEO who has a soft spot for Chelsea, the best friend of his brother's fiancé.
Chelsea just broke up with her lying, cheating boyfriend, who just happens to be Evan's employee.
So Evan's plan seems perfect, a fake relationship for revenge. Only is this fake ?
I loved how cold Evan seems but when Chelsea is involved he never is, he always try to be there for her and make her feels special and love. You can see them getting closer throughout the book which is really cute. I enjoyed how Chelsea was portrayed as this strong, independent woman, who finds herself again after a breakup and decides for once to do things for herself. Her character was so fun and I love that she had a passion that she wanted as a career.
The relationship between the two main characters and their family was so heartwarming.
The only "downside" was that i found that their relationship evolved really quickly in the book, so if you're not a fan of intsa-love maybe this one isn't for you.
All in all this was a really sweet book that I think could get you out of a reading slump and I enjoyed reading it !

This was such a sweet romance. It's a no angst, low spice (but it's still there!), with such a yummy gentleman for a mmc and a strong fmc.
Evan and Chelsea are the perfect couple that compliment each other so well.
There wasn't any unnecessary fluff and drama which made for such an easy flowing read.
Also freaking love the fmc been a pilates girl!

I am FOREVER a sucker for a billionaire that believes in love again because of HER. Toss in fake dating for a shared cause and the FMC going through IT and thriving?!?! Winner winner chicken dinner! This was an EASY five stars for me! Chelsea is one of my favorite FMCs I’ve read this year! I feel like I could focus only on her this entire review! But, Evan absolutely deserves just as much attention! Chelsea’s world is rocked and she uses it to THRIVE! And Evan didn’t even hesitate to become her biggest cheerleader. Mr. Moody and Broody! Of course, I MELTED! Evan Lincoln is thoughtful, considerate, compassionate, and such an amazing surprise! They had such great communication and because of it, were perfectly vulnerable with each other. Something that was new to them both. (Have I mentioned I melted?!) Chelsea and Evan did a fabulous job of pouring out their hearts, focusing on themselves as well as each other, and finding the perfect compromises to remain a united front. I LOVED getting quality time with the brothers, especially Harvey! So I am absolutely looking forward to him next!

Another highly enjoyable book by Sharon Woods! 🥰 I loved reading Evan and Chelsea's love story. It was a slow burn romance but a fast-paced read that I couldn't put down. I love Sharon's writing style. Her stories always flow so nicely and catch me from the beginning and keep me hooked until the end. Evan was such a gentleman, a really nice MMC to read. It takes him time to open up, but once he does, Chelsea gets to see the best sides of him. Chelsea was also a great FMC. She was strong, smart, and kind. They each brought the best out of each other and were enjoyable to read throughout. The plot was well written too, lots of storyline to keep me engaged in the story as well as the romance. Really enjoyed this love story! ❤️

I really enjoyed this book. It brings together aspects of real life, internal conflicts, insecurities, broken trust by her ex’s and something that I really loved from the book was how it shows that even if one door closes there will always be another that will open for you. Seeing their relationship develop through the book is amazing, it is something that takes its time to develop and there is never a rush to make the characters fall fast for each other.

This book was sooo good! I literally could not drop the book. It brings you on an emotional heartfelt romance that introduces the complexity and insecurity of love. Bringing together two couples who got cheated on and shows how they manage and come together.
Chelsea is the girl who sacrifices all of her to become something that her partner wants. I’m so happy that that man of a cheater “Bobby” did not show up for her birthday. It led her to meeting Evan, Bobby’s boss, and making a plan together. You can feel the chemistry and they know they have one too that when they decided to fake date, all it took was one kiss and they knew that the plan would be a big problem and would end up falling in love.
Evan is the CEO of The New York Press. He’s a reserved and work alcoholic who opens up only to his family—but what happens when he stumbles into Chelsea at a cafe and finds himself telling her things that he would only tell his family about and wanting to be next to her, never leaving. Evan is the best “fake” boyfriend ever. He’s such a gentleman and soo romantic you be swoon off your feet🤭! For a person who doesn’t trust easily and interactive, he was so protective and kind to Chelsea. From opening doors for her, buying her food every time he was going to visit her, making all his brothers to attend her Pilates class, you would be wanting an Evan Lincoln.
The way they healed together was honestly amazing. This book was sooo good! I literally could not drop the book. It brings you on an emotional heartfelt romance that introduces the complexity and insecurity of love. Bringing together two couples who got cheated on and shows how they manage and come together.
Chelsea is the girl who sacrifices all of her to become something that her partner wants. I’m so happy that that man of a cheater “Bobby” did not show up for her birthday. It led her to meeting Evan, Bobby’s boss, and making a plan together. You can feel the chemistry and they know they have one too that when they decided to fake date, all it took was one kiss and they knew that the plan would be a big problem and would end up falling in love.
Evan is the CEO of The New York Press. He’s a reserved and work alcoholic who opens up only to his family—but what happens when he stumbles into Chelsea at a cafe and finds himself telling her things that he would only tell his family about and wanting to be next to her, never leaving. Evan is the best “fake” boyfriend ever. He’s such a gentleman and soo romantic you be swoon off your feet🤭! For a person who doesn’t trust easily and interactive, he was so protective and kind to Chelsea. Evan Lincoln is a masterful businessman and as the eldest son, is the heir to Lincon Media. He is closed off, concentrating on running the family business. Evan doesn’t even date thanks to a betrayal by his fiancée the day of their “canceled” wedding. What a witch. All the socializing Evan does is with his brothers, Oliver, Jeremy, and Harvey. We follow the relationship between Chelsea and Evan. How Evan demonstrates to Chelsea what a true, healthy, and lovely relationship looks like, as well as how a loving boyfriend should treat his partner. I really enjoyed the relationship between Chelsea and Evan. It is the class story line of Evan showing Chelsea how she deserves to be treated by a "real man." It makes him sad every time she is impressed by the most basic of attention paid to her and her needs.
Fake dating was never my favorite trope, but..... I am falling more and more down the rabbit hole. I never understood why these characters behaved this way and Woods said it perfectly from Evan's POV "The whole fake dating was just a drunk decision because the attraction was always there. Nothing between us has been fake." Fake dating tends to just be an excuse for people that are afraid of relationships to keep up the walls dividing them from heartbreak.
Evan admits that his emotional walls are built up too high, even though he wants to let them down for Chelsea and Chelsea is afraid to put another man before her hopes and dreams. They allow each other to grow and be who they always wished they could be.
I know that there is more coming in this series, but I would have loved more from the epilogues and the bonus scenes. They were great, but didn't flow and certainly didn't give me enough! Even though it is part of a series I would have preferred a cleaner ending that flowed better for this standalone.
That being said... I will be snagging the next book as soon as it is released hoping to catch glimpses of these characters.

Oh my goodness, the spicy was totally serving in each and every way. Definitely, the unforgivable, Bourbon scene was everything. I was like DAMN gurl! My jaw on the ground. 🥃

Not to forget the storyline, the build up, the characters, the familial bonds and specially her friendship with Summer, was everything one can ever in their lifetime ask for. 🤌🏻
And don't even get me started on our MMC’s character development throughout the book was so damn good, at moments it felt the book was talking to me personally. The confidence buildup, the self-discovery and overall trusting process wad so special and specially for Evan. Anytime Bobbie reared his ugly heart, I was sent into a rage!!! I love how this book made you feel all the emotions as if you were living the life of Chelsea and Evan.
At times I felt like the story was a bit rushed, but that’s because life is exactly like that at times!!

This was almost a DNF for me.
The FMC, Chelsea breaks up with her terrible boyfriend when she realizes he’s cheating on her via a butt dial on her birthday. She should’ve broken up long before she even found out he was cheating because he was awful to her to begin.
She runs into Evan, the billionaire CEO that employs her trash ex-bf and is the brother-in-law of one of her besties.
They come up with a plan to get “revenge” on her ex by “fake-dating” but none of these things are executed well. They make out before they even decide to fake date so..it’s not really faking when you already like each other. It’s just actual dating. And the revenge was just dating in front of the ex…but it ends up just turning the ex into a psycho stalker.
The writing kept taking me out of the story with the way stammers were put on the ends of words that made no sense grammatically or structurally for speaking. For example, you can’t stammer “please” like “please-e-e.” That’s not how speaking works! It drove me insane.
The conflict between the FMC and MMC was underwhelming and was resolved in about 3 seconds. And then there were THREE epilogues. No book needs three epilogues.
Needless to say, I did not really enjoy the story or the writing ability and probably should have DNF’d but nevertheless, I persisted.

This couple worked so well and I adored both characters a lot. I enjoyed this plot a lot and I am a sucker for a billionaire, fake dating romance. The plot was pretty straight forward and the story flowed smoothly. I enjoyed learning more about each of the individuals in this book and the spice was PERFECTION!!
I absolutely loved Chelsea and she was honestly lovable. I loved seeing her grow into a confident woman throughout the story! OH MY GOD LET'S TALK ABOUT EVAN...Who doesn't love a billionaire CEO, who's 6'5. OMG, I loved him so much. He was the perfect love interest for Chelsea and he was just so kind, sweet, and precious throughout the entire book.
Overall, this book was so GOOD and I absolutely ATE IT UP!! Please go read it!!

This couple worked so well and I adored both characters a lot. I enjoyed this plot a lot and I am a sucker for a billionaire, fake dating romance. The plot was pretty straight forward and the story flowed smoothly. I enjoyed learning more about each of the individuals in this book and the spice was PERFECTION!!
I absolutely loved Chelsea and she was honestly lovable. I loved seeing her grow into a confident woman throughout the story! OH MY GOD LET'S TALK ABOUT EVAN...Who doesn't love a billionaire CEO, who's 6'5. OMG, I loved him so much. He was the perfect love interest for Chelsea and he was just so kind, sweet, and precious throughout the entire book.
Overall, this book was so GOOD and I absolutely ATE IT UP!! Please go read it!!

⭐️ ARC REVIEW ⭐️
The premise of this book immediately caught my attention—who doesn’t love a revenge plot where a woman goes after her ex’s boss? I was so excited to dive into this story, and I loved how it wasted no time getting into the fake dating scheme.
Chelsea was such a standout character. She knew she deserved better than her scumbag ex, and it was refreshing to see her grow and go after what she truly wanted—both in her career and personal life. It’s empowering to read about a character with such a clear sense of purpose!
And then there’s Evan—the swoony, caring CEO. His protectiveness and devotion to Chelsea (his “Shell”) really shined through. He consistently showed her how much she meant to him through his actions, which made their connection even more heartfelt.
There were a few things that didn’t work as well for me, though. The pacing and dialogue felt a bit off at times, and some of the inner monologues and conversations came across as a bit juvenile. That said, if you’re looking for an easy, low-stakes, fluffy read with some spice, this book has plenty to offer! It’s a lighthearted story about a woman coming into her own, and sometimes, that’s exactly what you need. 🖤

In a sea full of alpha-hole billionaire CEOs, Evan Lincoln stood out to me right away because he’s NOT an A-hole of any kind. In fact, he is soft, guarded and broody without being grumpy or rude. Just careful and considerate…. And damn, what a turn on that is. 👏🏼😘

Let’s just say this plan works a little too well. When I say Evan is GONE for Chelsea, I mean G-O-N-E gone. Nearly from the start, too! For two people who are heartbroken by cheating exes, they are the perfect match to build trust and find love again with one another.
His support for her is unmatched, not to mention his protectiveness and the way his family shows up for her too. So swoon-worthy. 😍

My bottom lip wobbles. “I never heard those words,” I admit, my voice barely above a whisper.
“I know,” he says, his blue eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that makes my heart skip a beat. “And you should’ve. You fucking deserve to know how incredible you are. Not just beautiful, but smart too.”
And honestly, it’s refreshing to read a novel where the families of both MCs are healthy and in-tact. It may seem idealized to some, but it gave their love story a special show of support. Let’s also not leave out how good Chelsea is for him too.

The Lincoln Brothers series each can be read as a standalone connecting through the brothers hang on get comfortable once you start you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Evan sexy as all get out head of Lincoln Media he doesn’t really date after dodging a bullet on his wedding day hangs out with his three brothers, and the shenanigans they get into will you laughing out loud. Chelsea is so sweet doesn’t realize her strength until she is tested she has had a one dream to own a Pilates studio so moving NY to make it happen but on biggest mistake was taking her boyfriend Bobby who verbally and mentally abused her constantly taking hits at her self-esteem until she had enough but he also worked for Lincoln Media and was driving Evan crazy with all his mistakes but he needed a reason to fire him. So, these two amazing people came up with a plan to fake date to force her ex. to leave her alone and to force him to quite but neither of them counted on those feeling not feeling so fake but Bobby wasn’t going to make it easy he kept showing up to mess things up for her but her fake man shut that down quick but where are they headed, will Bobby get the message an quit, will they heal each other’s hearts, and can they find happiness?

What an emotional rollercoaster that sucks you right in from the very first page and does not let go . I started Reading Billion Dollar Revenge late last night and to say I did not get any sleep would definitely be an understatement. I cannot really put it into words but something about Evan and Lucy just sucked me right in . Maybe it was the chemistry between them , maybe it was that they were just so likable and relatable ot maybe it was simply that their Journey was not all smooth sailing, they had many obstacles both physically and emotionally. But the more I got to know them the harder I fell . For Evan - it would be a past relationship that caused him terrible heartbreak ( now his life is primarily focused on work and family . For Chelsea it’s low self esteem do to emotional and physical abuse from her ex boyfriend. Circumstances bring these two together and from that second on everything changes . A fake relationship slowly turns into so much more . Is there a happy ending at the end of the rainbow for these two ?

I have been waiting months for this book as I was looking fwd. to reading Evan & Chelsea’s story (after the snippets we got in Billion Dollar Mistake from their first meeting) and their story was amazing 🤩 I didn’t want it to end.
I loved how Evan was with Chelsea, he was super romantic & so protective for someone who didn’t trust easily due to past betrayal he really opens up and their journey through out the book was pure swoon.

The way they both healed together and their chemistry from the start, I loved how much support they gave each other to overcome their bad relationships experiences. Chelsea finally saw her true worth and I liked her growth and development through the story.
This book was an enjoyable read with all the elements of a romance book that I love , from start to end with so many cute and extremely hot moments as Evan had a very “healthy appetite” and the man liked to eat 😮💨🫠🔥 can’t blame him after years of starving himself 😅

When Chelsea found our that the men she is has been dating for two years is cheating on her (I hate that guy so so much.) . When she decided to end things ,her ex’s boss Evan came to help. They started fake dating to get a revenge on her ex , during which they know realise they are not actually pretending.
I love Evan and Chelsea so so much. They are truly what each other needs and seem so perfect for each other.
Evan has been there for Chelsea for no matter what. He become the supportive , caring and old fashion gentlemen she wanted. Every small and big things he do. He make her feel like she can be herself and supported through her dreams.
Evan was also affected by his past because of which he was open for relationship. He don’t trust or open up with people easily . Chelsea was the light to his darkness. With her he felt so safe and easy to open up.
I also love supported her friend and family were with everything and were always were there. I love Evan’s family too, specially her grams.
