Jesus - Life Changing - Life Himself

This is one of the very best books I’ve ever read. My heart is stirred to know Him closer and even deeper than ever before. Reading this book will make you fall in love with Jesus all over again. Come back to your first love. It’s what LIFE is all about.

Overall, I enjoyed this book.

However, I felt that this book that’s supposed to be about Jesus had a lot of parts not about Jesus. The author talked about himself, a lot, in a way that lacked humility. I felt that any time he spoke about an experience of his own that it always read as “look at what a great christian I am with all my divine encounters” and I didn’t love it.

The parts that were actually about Jesus were so great to read; I felt like I got an intimate knowledge of Jesus that I did not have before.

this book is a shaker of worlds. I can think of few Bible companions that compare with its beauty. Pastor Koulianos beholds Jesus in the purest way. He’s said in times past that “I poured my guts into this one” and it’s evident. this books makes me recklessly want Jesus. his desire for me is seen and known through the pages of it. I’ll forever cherish my copy. I lent it to someone from church and deeply regret it because I plan on rereading it before the year ends. a forever favorite. 6 stars. no question.

The way this writer talked and explained things really helped me understand some passages in the Bible that I have read but didn’t quite understand. He has such a way to explain things and make them easy for you to follow. I love the devotion he has to Jesus and how contagious it is, this makes you open your eyes and really take a step back and make you question how you’re living. I wish there were more Christian books like this one.

If you know nothing about Jesus, you need to read this book. If you have been walking with Jesus all your life, you need to read this book. Pastor Michael Koulianos speaks from experience. He introduces a Person, he knows. This Person is God, His name is Jesus. If you are reading this review, the God of the Bible wants to you to know Him.
