The brewing romance between Saeki and Hasumi is kind of cringe, but apart from that, I'm invested big time.

I'm not interested in the weird romance storyline at aaaall but the actual plot is getting good.

We've got backstory and twists, this particular volume had some pretty nasty gore too.

A tratti la storia si perdeva un po’, il finale ha decisamente risollevato il tutto.

Boy talk about going down the rabbit hole! After Juzo was killed in prison most would assume the case was over but Saeki and Hasumi continue to research. Figuring out where Juzo possibly was from they go to Hokkaido to investigate. A small town that had a massacre decades ago seems like it made quite an impression on Juzo. Was he involved? Who knows but when they get their crap really gets heated in a few ways! I also almost feel like Saeki and Hasumi may one day get together.
