The absolute ridiculous male egos in this book made it borderline unreadable. I mean I read it anyway but I have terrible taste so.

On a des éléments sympa, ça se lit tout seul et c’est une lecture sans prise de tête.
Mais un peu décousu à des moments, ça méritait plus de développement ou détails sur les situations.
Ensuite niveau personnages, Sylvie est trop gamine et elle se créer des problèmes toute seule. Elle m’a un peu soûler.
Jared lui, bizarre aussi les 3/4 du temps il avait pas l’air investi dans la relation. Juste la fin il se réveille.
Et Steven quel casse couille celui-là.

no nope don’t do it
I thought the last book I read was the worst book I had ever read… Until I read this one and now I realize that’s a tear and this is on it. I would give it no stars if possible.
The problems start almost immediately amongst the characters. There’s no real explanation. There’s no real ending. It just continues. The characters are bad. The story is bad. The solution is bad. The book makes no sense. There’s no recourse for anyone’s actions. The mom should’ve inferred with her children. Steven shouldn’t have kidnapped the mother and held her hostage from the daughter. Silvie should’ve told Jared she was pregnant. Jared shouldn’t have been so weird with Vicki for so long. It is no wonder their business didn’t work out.
Somehow in the blink of an eye the brother stopped being the worst and now they’re naming their baby after him. It’s insane. How are they building their businesses together but not the same business anymore? What was even the point if they’re all gonna end up in Chicago anyways?

Really Bad Decisions
The blurb for this book described it perfectly. Silvie, Jared and Steven all made really bad decisions. Jared was Silvie's brother’s best friend. He was also Steven’s business partner. Still, Jared and Silvie had an affair and, of course, she became pregnant and didn't tell Jared. Steven went off the deep end when he found out about their affair and things only went downhill from there.
How could two adult men who started a business together be such jerks. Jared was worse than a teenager discovering sex for the first time. Silvie wasn't much better, working for Jared and having sex in his office. Steven was even worse because of the way he hurt Silvie by taking their mother away. Yes, there was a HEA but didn't make the book enjoyable, or worth reading. The actions that Steven and Jared engaged in were juvenile and adversely affected Sylvie, her mother and their employees.

Avevo bisogno dopo "La Mite" di un libro molto semplice e con una prosa da scrittrice bambina di cinque anni e "Baby Makes Three" rispetta proprio quello che stavo cercando.
Per comprarlo non ho speso nulla in quanto l'ebook è gratis per chi ha Prime ed essendo anche un libro molto corto (secondo me non supera neanche le 150 pagine) è stata una lettura leggere e disgustosa.
Ovviamente è un libro orribile pieno di misoginia, patriarcato, sessismo e relazioni morbose tra i personaggi partendo per di più dal rapporto ossessivo che Steven ha per la sorella (Che va ai limiti del normale per davvero, sembra che lei gli appartenga e che sia sua).
Libro ricco di problematiche e di atteggiamenti scorretti e veramente immorali, quasi quasi più brutto di Ugly Love della Hoover.

Jared breaks my heart, how can it ache & love him at the same time?
What a fantastic read. The author has done a great job with Jared & Silvie's story as it takes the reader on an emotional rollercoaster ride. Silvie has crushed on Jared since she was a teenager & now that she is doing an internship at the company both Jared & her brother run things are going to heat up. The desire & sparks between them is undeniable but what will it take to push them over the line? What will happen when Silvie's brother finds out about them?
What will Jared do when he finds out he's going to be a dad? Do they have a chance at a HEA with forces against them? Worth more than 5 stars.

When she starts working for him and her brother things chance between them. Jared is drawn to Silvie and soon doesn't want to fight what he feels for her. Things heat up between them and Silvie doesn't want to let her brother know yet. However, its not long before someone does expose them, and everything blows up. Will they get a chance to be together? What will her brother do?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This is a story of making bad decisions. Two friends who abandon their friendship and divide their company for a woman, a woman who chooses to have sex with her boss and gets pregnant with his child; it's like no gets hurt from this game, but in the all of them do. It's only when they start acting like adults, the solutions will come to light. This is an age gap romance and is quite steamy. The only real thing I can say is that Silvie is more mature than the two men who run a software company. There is a moral to this story, about communication and how to fight as a couple.

Cute but not too deep…
The couple was well developed but I felt their attachment was more like high schoolers. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other in a professional office. This was a man in his 30’s that had very limited professionalism. They were unable to communicate with each other and would just avoid talking. At least there was a HEA but it was rather abrupt.

Brothers best friend romance
I really liked this book. The two main characters were both great.
The one thing that I didn't like was the resolution with the brother. I would have told him to take a flying leap. He never apologized or took ownership of his actions. He was a jerk to the nth degree.
The book kept my attention and I read it in one evening.

A fun story about two best friends and a sister whose lives are intertwined with business. As things progress, so do feelings and emotions, yet not all agree with the things going on, even though they are All adults. Anger issues, and frustration with emotional feelings about this, cause hurt feelings and events to happen. Yet this is a beautiful story.

Great book!! Love the chemistry between Jared and Silvie. Nice to have a best friend like Bethany. Obstacles to overcome like any good book and I was satisfied with how the story ended.

Un libro molto carino da leggere, una storia che forse mi ha colpito di più per la storia familiare che per tutto il resto.
Carina da leggere, e anche molto veloce da leggere, con tanti alti e bassi.
Silvie a mio parere viene descritta con un carattere molto infantile anche se in alcuni momenti fa vedere quanto può essere grande, ma nella sua storia con Jared l’ho trovata molto bimba.
Anche i due ragazzi non si sono comportati meglio😂.
