Falling For You

Rate this book
Dawson Rich, the front man for The Raging Pumpkins, has it all. With a life full of beautiful women and gold records, what could he possibly want from a nobody like me? I’m barely a blip on his radar, and if I were an intelligent woman, I’d keep it that way. IF being the operative word.
Selena Hartford is gorgeous as sin. She’s also a talented attorney. Naturally, when I land myself in hot water, I demand we hire her. Not only do I need her expertise, but I’m eager to know if she’s as delicious as she looks. I’m a man who gets what I want, and right now, I want her.
Worlds could collide and lives could be destroyed, but nothing could keep me from FALLING FOR YOU.

Dawson I found charming from the start and very easy to like. Even though he was a famous rockstar he was sweet, polite, and just charming. He seem to like her from the moment he saw her and he was just to nice and handsome to turn down. Selena I was finding hard to like and at one point I almost returned the book without finishing it. But this is the first book by this author and I wanted to give her a fair review. Selena was rude when she met Dawson and a little bit vulgar. She acted all repressed stuck up attorney, but acted the drunken jackass after a few drinks. For an attorney who signed agreement with her firm not to date clients, she did just that and took it out on Dawson when she was fired. He offered her a dream job that made her basically self employed at twice what she was making and she dumps him. As if that’s not crazy enough she runs into Samantha his crazy jealous bandmate and she tells Selena they’re back together. What does Selena do? She runs into the ladies room and cry’s for a while, why? This is the point where I wanted to stop reading because Selena’s character is ridiculous. She doesn’t act like a grown up, intelligent, professional, strong woman. She acts like an idiot, drunken, slutty, indecisive moron. I want to say this book got better but it doesn’t. She takes the job he offered her and avoids him and treats him like crap. By the way, did I mention they only spent one night together? Her possessive, jealousy and drunken was all after one hot night. Poor Dawson would have been better off with a drunken teenage groupie. Dawson basically tells Selena he loves her after knowing her for two days,it’s just wrong on so many levels I again want to give up. Thankfully this was a short book with about ten chapters. Eventually they worked everything out and I did finish the book, I’m giving it three stars.

Amazing book. As soon as Dawson see Selena he has to get to know her and the fact that she doesn’t know who he is makes it even better. They come across many obstacles that is trying to keep them away from each other. To find out how their story turns out I recommend you dead this book.
