Sluggy Freelance is one of the oldest webcomics around. It was absolutely a trendsetter for it's genre and while you might not realize it, if you only started with this book, it quickly goes from a mostly unconnected series of amusing strips to a detailed and richly engaging storyline. Absolutely worth ever minute spent reading.

I got this and Little Evils for Christmas and ended up waiting in line while my children read them. Then they spent the next week or so catching up on twelve years of archives at Sluggy.com. Very addictive. Be warned.

This is the start of the Sluggy universe. In this Megatome) (which contains the first three collections), we meet the main characters and share their crazy adventures.

The beginning of perhaps the longest-running webcomic of all time, introducing the main characters and establishing the essential premise (subject to change).
