So here's the problem...

We tend to collect things that accumulate over time. We do so because we have a need to feel satisfied. Commonly, people collect things like toys for their personal collection or things that look nice enough to keep. However, some people also collect other people.

As we collect things over time, we unknowingly subject ourselves to indirect distractions. These distractions can come in simple forms like being unable to get rid of a stack of paper on our desk, being unable to find something we’ve been looking for, or being unable to relate to an individual because of personal differences. All of these lead to stress.

Stress is something that we all avoid. But at times we deny its existence just so we can protect ourselves from the psychological threat that it brings. But we don’t need to do that. In fact, what we can do is to get rid of the things that cause us indirect stress through a process called purging. Find comfort that this book will teach you how to ultimately make the purge and attain the simplicity needed in order to live a productive life.

Once the causes of stress are gone from our immediate environment, we’ll begin to see significant changes in our lives. One of the aspects that will greatly benefit from purging is our productivity and efficiency. Without anything to distract us, we can complete our tasks with ease.

This book divides its discussion about purging into three parts: things in the home, things at work, and people in general. At this point, you’re probably thinking about why the part about people is included. You’ll know soon... For now, let’s get you started!

Some interesting information; nothing life transforming. Gave me some things to think about and possibly try.
