This book takes place in Germany during the Hitler reighn. It is formed around a woman who is pregnant by a Jew and leaves Germany to hide from the Nazis. Her Jewish husband was taken by the Nazis. She finds a safe place to live and raise her son, but things go wrong and she has to leave her home again.
