Nina For centuries, I waited in this miserable existence for my mate to come to me. Now that the curse is broken and our pack alpha, Johnathan, has decided it's time to reveal ourselves to the world, Kade extends an invitation for us to join their pack in Snowbush Falls. As a lone wolf used to living in nomadic freedom, transitioning to a more structured lifestyle is difficult for me. My wolf craves the thrill of the hunt, but we do this out of loyalty to our pack and alpha, and also in search our fated mate.
The moment Lauren arrives in Snowbush Falls, I catch her scent and it hits me like a tidal wave. Instantly, I feel the pull towards her. She's meant to be mine. But Kade and Damon don't approve of my wild wolf and its potential danger to Lauren. They threaten to separate us, but they don't understand that I would do anything to protect her. I am not like other wolf shifters; my wolf has more control over me than it should. Yet, I cannot let anyone take Lauren away from me. Even if it means destroying this supernatural town that has become our new home.
Lauren
With the guidance of my mother, we risked everything to come to Snowbush Falls. She had a hunch that one of us was meant to mate with a creature here, and it could be our key to survival. Life outside of this haven has become dangerous for women like us, and we seek safety and liberation from the oppressive patriarchy. I have always felt like an outsider in the world and even within my own family, but they are all I have.
That is, until Nina Asher catches wind of my scent. As a tall, white shifter wolf - unique amongst her pack - she claims me as her mate. I knew there was something different about me when I arrived in Snowbush Falls, and now I know I can never leave. Nina's wolf is powerful and holds an unexpected amount of control over her. Can I tame this wild beast that desires me in every way - mind, body, and soul? Or will the untamed nature of Nina's wolf destroy us both? As much as I want to stay with my mother and sister, if I don't give into Nina's wolf, it may end up killing us all.
Jenna is a steamy lesbian romance author of fast-paced instalove romance. Expect them to be over-the-top, absurdly ridiculous–but always with a happy ending.
As always, Jenna has written a passionate and captivating lesbian romance novel that is both fast-paced and entertaining.
The story follows Nina, a 'shifter' (wolf), and Lauren, a human. Nina has been patiently waiting for her soulmate for centuries, and when Lauren finally appears, Nina is determined to pursue her heart's desire. This instalove romance is charming, heartwarming, and sensually delightful, making it an engaging read that is difficult to put down.
This is the ninth book in the series, and it is the first one that I have read. I intend to go back and read the others in time. However, it is not necessary to read the others, as this book can be read as a standalone.
I would like to suggest this book to anyone who enjoys a quick, easy, and fast-paced read it.
Star rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice rating. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Jenna Kent Nina's Mate: A Lesbian Paranormal Romance (Fated Mates Book 9)
Snowbush Falls
Nina is longing to discover her destined partner in order to feel whole. She desires to have her significant other by her side and is saddened by the distance that has come between her and her friend, Mya. Additionally, she is deeply disturbed by the mistreatment of women that she witnesses at the hotel in Snowbush Falls.
Personally, I have a great fondness for stories set in an office environment and I always find them captivating. The stories about faded mates particularly caught my attention, and I have developed a strong admiration for that genre.
Nina yearns for her fated mate to find serenity and escape the chaos, longing to return to the tranquility of the woods where she once felt free and secure. However, she understands that she needs her mate in order to feel complete.
The bond between Lauren and Nina was unbreakable. Their love was undeniable and unstoppable, a chemistry that neither of them could resist. I highly recommend this story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and the author has firmly secured a place among my top five favorites. The book is readily available on Kindle Unlimited, and I strongly urge you to download it today. I assure you, you will not be disappointed.
Lauren's mother & sister with her headed up to northern Michigan to hopefully finds significant others for each of them. Lauren wore rags and made to behave like second best in everything until they got there and the border police smiled at her but not the other two. What was that about? Did they know something that neither her sister or mother knew why they smiled at Lauren but not them? That is ,until a seven foot giant female stood in front of Lauren and told her, You are Mine! Enjoy!
Loved it Jenna, but the steamy scenes were hilarious 😂 You sure know how to keep us laughing 😆 in your books. This story was everything and more. I loved the possessiveness and I loved how well you build the connection between your characters. Well done! Please write more fated mate books. You have a true fan in me. 🥰❤️❤️❤️
This was intensely so sweet. But both FMC's had to endure hardship so devastating they almost gave up to finding their person. Loved the steamy scenes and had a good 😂 at their actions. A 5🌟 all the way.
This is everything I've wanted in a book since I got back into reading. Fated mates is my cup of tea. This is a great depiction of that. I usually like one MC over the other, but these two were amazing. I can't wait to read more by Jenna!
A fast-burn enjoyable lesbian romance! Although I must say, there were recurrent typos in the text. The typographical errors, such as the confusion between Johnathan and Jonathan and random quotation marks, stole a lot of the fluidity of the story.
It was a good read. Kept my attention. I relate to both characters Nina's always wanting to make sure Lauren has everything she needs and wants and Lauren for wanting to recipcate.
This book is decent though it has mistakes. There is heat/spice along with found family, love and a happy ending. This book is a short fast read but still worth it.
DNF at 7% - The writing style wasn’t working for me, with info dumping and telling vs showing, and then we started getting into a very patriarchal society and homophobia - too much for me right now.
