My bond with my parents was never strong, especially with my father. For the most part, he ignored me but claimed he’d done his duty seeing to my needs. No more was required.
Despite my struggle to feel love from them, I never wanted them to die. The car accident had been too much for even their shifter bodies to handle. As I sat alone in the waiting room, hoping for some good news. A nurse approached me and asked for me to donate blood for my parents’ recovery.
Minutes after my donation was complete, I was given the news. My mother would receive the blood. But I was not a match to my father. I am not his biological daughter.
Once my mother and stepfather are buried, I pull myself together and set out to find out who my true father was. And found a sister in the process. She attends the Werewolf Academy…so I will too. But I will keep my secret power to myself, at least for the time being.
Ava is Book 2 in the super sweet with building heat Werewolf Academy series. Ava features a female searching for her real father and finding another kind of family. And of course, Mazzy promises a happy ever after. If you like true mates, Fate taking a hand, and a whole school of shifters one-click Ava today.
Mazzy J. March is a fan of all things paranormal--shifters, vampires, witches...dragons and all the many creatures that inhabit the world beyond the ordinary. She has been plotting her Academy stories for a long time and is thrilled to finally have them releasing and ever grateful to the readers who are offering such support and helping her dreams come true.
Wow! What an interesting journey these girls are facing. Ava introduced herself to her sister Minx, she never knew she had until learning that her father wasn’t her blood sire. Then she met her three mates when she was placed in a suite with three men on her first night in the academy. Nolan, Lex and Wolfe were there for Ava to make sure she was protected from all danger, but when Wolfe was attacked on the night of their date, Ava was able to heal him. They finally mated that night and the next day, Minx and Ava are approached by another female who quite possibly is another sister. That’s where this story ends. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters, as I’m sure we will read more about them in the coming stories in the series. Will the sisters be able to find their true father? What other secrets are hidden, how many more siblings do they have?.

Ava is best read as a continuation of Minx. There is more development of Minx’s character and story along with the intertwining of Ava. This particular book focuses on Ava coming to terms with her grief of her parents death, finding her sister and mates. She also has to fend off some mean girl situation. As before, time is a little difficult to gauge in this and the previous book, but the consistency in information and timeline is a lot better than previous book. I would recommend if you’re looking for a light, no commitment read.
Don't get me wrong I like the book. I like the plot. The first book Minx had several inconsistencies. And those inconsistencies happen again in this book All Around minx. When Ava confronted her Minx said that her father was human. But in the first book her parents were both shifters. Plus it was quiet if you grammar errors. I like Nolan I like Lex but wolfe was my favorite.

This series is getting interesting with all these new characters coming in and so much mystery surrounding the births and childhoods of the FMC’s. Loved how the roommates are so surprised of their new roommate and just what this new roommate means to them. Liked the connection of these mates and family as they delve deeper into their own life histories.

This the second book and we pick up from the cliffhanger of last book. Minx is confronted by a girl claiming to be her half sister and this is her story. This is a quick and at we Amy read. And we are starting to get some questions answered . We are left with another bomb of a cliffy. I can’t wait for the next book.

This book was MARGINALLY better than the first book. I have to wonder what book everyone else read to give it more than two.stars... It feels like, just when it is starting to have some, what's the right word...substance? It ends.
Sigh. I guess I will check out the next book. I bought the damn series, no KU for this filly... I may as well see if there is a punchline.
The storyline is somewhat good but feels like everything is unfinished. The author goes into detail on some things but then glosses over the rest. The book also ends mid conversation one of my biggest pet peeves.
oh I mother tucking love Mazzy shes always got a great story I love Ava and her Journey this is a great set of standalones in a shared world and im here for it.
