I have read and then returned to read it again twenty years later. It still kept me riveted to the page and it was like rediscovering a long lost love. Flying in the Caribbean and dealing with the weather, the people and the occasional bad guy in pursuit of happiness or just to escape all makes it a good read. Few aviation books keep me so locked in. Mr. Lecombre really knows his stuff and airplanes.
We are in Covid 19 and the Local Library has closed, lucky I have the Full set of Winter by Deighton 10 Books, all of Poldark, by Winston Graham, Delderfields God is an Englishman, 3 vols, and of course six vols of McCullough's First Man of Rome. Looking for something shorter I came across Dead Weight, and as the other reviews have it I am enjoying it again.
