TRIGGER WARNINGS: The main character is a victim of violent sexual assault, a subject that is dealt with throughout this book. If this is a triggering subject, this book is not for you. Also, physical violence leading to death is also a factor.

Shiloh
My life as I knew it ended four years ago.

I’d always been on the shy side—you know, not too great with the boys. So when my brother’s hot new friend asked me out, I was dazzled beyond belief. Then our first date turned into a kidnapping, where I was assaulted for three days by this so-called friend. Turns out the guy is the heir to the Chicago Gravediggers Motorcycle Club, and they wanted to recruit my brother bad. Their solution? Torture me until my brother broke. He did, and when he traded his freedom for mine, our family shattered.

Romeo
The Chicago Gravediggers had once been my MC, my family, but it was being run into the ground by a madman and his psycho kid. A few years back I jumped ship with my fellow brothers to form a new chapter, but everyone knows two Gravedigger chapters in one town is one chapter too many. Then we got word one of theirs is trying to get out. We’ll help him, as long as there’s something in it for us. The only thing that might gum up the works is the guy’s sister, Shiloh McKeen. I’m tasked with making her fall in line, because my road name is Romeo, and I earned it honestly. But Shiloh’s not falling for the act, or me.

Hell, if I’m not careful, I might be the one falling for her.

Received a ARC for a honest review.

Ok first off just let me say how thrilled I am that Stacy Gail is back!!

Second, Grave Games: Gravediggers MC is a spinoff from Gail’s HOUSE OF PAYNE:Loki and you don’t have to read that story to follow this one, but it does help to know all the players. Not to mention the HOUSE OF PAYNE series is awesome itself.

Now on to Romeo and Shiloh.

Shiloh is a woman who has been through some s**t and wants NOTHING to do with anyone connected to a MC. She just wants to continue to work her waitressing job, be with her friend Heather, and go home. That’s it.

Romeo is a man in a mission, the mission is to get close to Shiloh to find her brother, but he doesn’t plan on really falling for her I think.

Seeing Shiloh for the strong survivor that she is, not to mention she is beautiful, and doesn’t just fall for his BS, is I think what makes him fall.

He doesn’t go about getting her attention the right way sure, but when there is war on the horizon a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do.

There where times I wanted to walk into my kindle and smack the s**t out of Romeo and I cheered when Shiloh figured out just how strong she really is, and I teared up at her sweet forgiving nature where family is concerned.
That’s what makes for a well written story, it pulls you in with all the characters feeling and flaws.

I can’t wait to read the next story from Gail and her Graverdiggers!

"Some heroes don't wear capes. Sometimes they were cuts"

This is the first book in the Grave Diggers MC An all-new MC Romantic Suspense series that you won't want to miss!

"You're still talking. Why is that?"
Oil and a Match - that was our snarky Shiloh and her Romeo
Lots of Smexy tension and Hades-level heat with these two

"Sexy looks and a weekend warrior's love of danger was a tempting mix, but was that what I wanted?"

Yeah, he is trust me Shy.

Shiloh knew all about motorcycle gangs and their evil ways.
She had the scars to prove it
Sure there was something sexy about a bad boy in leathers
But they were evil, all of them
However, maybe she could guide this misdirected man to the light ;)
He was awfully nice, not to mention sin-incarnate

Romeo was supposed to watch her
Get close and figure out who's side, if any she stood on
See if she could lead him to the Chef
So he played the weekend warrior.
The protector. Any card he could to get close to her
Sure, not all of his choices were smart ones
Some were bound to bite him in the gluteus later on
But something about that girl made him lose his mind

"Life is meant to be lived, Shy girl. Experienced, savored, wallowed in. It's supposed to be messy and loud and chaotic."
Years ago Shy had been an unwilling "guest" of the Gravediggers
It killed something in her while at the same time bringing something to life
She didnt laugh as easily anymore. Didnt trust.
The way she saw the world was a bit jaded
But something about Romeo (with a little push from her friends) made her want to take the chance

"You just keep holding on to me, you hear me? Don't ever let go."
Romeo was hard on the outside but for his Shy girl?
He was marshmallow goodness topped with a damn cherry
He went beyond just protecting her physically.
He took the extra steps to heal her soul as well
Not sure I would have forgiven Pop's as easily but ...

"The two of us against the world. But you're wrong about how nothing lasts forever. The two of us, we're forever."

This was the perfect blend of sweet and suspenseful
The cast was so well crafted!
Hades and Marvel will make your skin crawl
Arthur, the sweetest protector
and so many more secondary characters that I can't wait to get to know better
The storyline was solid with all the angst, action, betrayal, and SMEXY you expect from an MC Romance

We met Tyr and his breakaway chapter of the Gravediggers in Loki's HoP book. Let's just say that Tyr's Gravediggers are a very different beast from his uncle's. In other words, they have legitimate businesses and aren't raving psychos. BUT...they're also on his uncle's radar in a not-so-great way and they have to play things very carefully so things don't tip into outright war between them.

Which brings us to Romeo and Shiloh. He's one of the top lieutenants in Tyr's club and she's a woman who has suffered heartily at the hands of an MC in the past. To say she's wary of him (and everyone else) is putting things lightly. But Romeo worms his way past her defenses and soon some of the secrets Romeo's been holding close come to light. Which isn't great because Shiloh hates all things MC and it takes time and some quick talking on Romeo's part to get her to even give him a chance to explain things.

On Romeo's end, Shiloh might have started as just an assignment, but she intrigued him from the beginning. And when she finally starts letting down her walls enough to tell some of her secrets, he grows to admires her strength and fire. Does he make a not-so-great choice to find a way to get his foot in the door with her? YES, HE DOES. But I also kind of think she wouldn't have given him much of a chance without that push and, in the end, she really did need the protection he and the club provided, so I guess it all turned out okay.

Complicated family dynamics, betrayal on more than one level, unexpected friends, steamy kisses, a man who will fight for the people he loves, and a lady who doesn't realize she's ready to open her heart until one gorgeous, cocky man walks into her life. More please!

These two had some mad chemistry between them! It took them a while, and they had several missteps along the way, to get on the same page emotionally, but the heat between them, that was there from the start. She has some triggers, and he sets off every one, whereas he is tenacious and doesn’t give up. They definitely went on a rollercoaster of a ride, with lots of ups and downs, wild moments, and anticipatory thrills, and I was happy to be on the ride with them 😊

REALLY GOOD!

A good storyline and great characters made this the perfect MC story. Romeo had a very interesting way to meet Shiloh but she detested the biker lifestyle and Romeo was with the Gravediggers. It wasn't an auspicious beginning. But it was a beginning! I'm looking forward to book two!

Good story, good writing. Liked all the characters except the FMC. Just couldn't stand her. Plus it was instalust, instalove and those tropes have gotten sooooo boring and repetitious. Was going to read the next book as I liked Tyr but it's not on KU. Too bad.

The heroine is 22 and works as a waitress. He is on a mission to get close to her so he can get information about her brother. I felt bad for her.

It’s not at all like the house of Payne books, much darker and harder. I liked Shiloh though she gave in really quickly especially for someone with her trauma. But it’s a good read.

When a favorite author writes a book in your favorite genre you grab it and read it.

There’s a mole in the club, the H/h have crazy chemistry, her brother was a selfish ass that redeemed himself and drama ran high.

A good start to a new series.
