Bear Willis: Mountain Man: Comanche Blood Moon: A Western Adventure

Comancheria! Just the name sends a chill up the spine of every settler living close to Comanche Territory. The Comanche and their allies, the Kiowa, have used this no-man’s land for years to launch their raids. But, finally, the bigwigs in Washington have had enough. Colonel Mackenzie and his cavalry are sent to drive the Indians onto reservations.
The Texas Rangers, fearing the Comanche will try crossing into Texas rather than live on a reservation, send Chet Henderson, an old Indian Fighter, to prevent this from happening. Chet recruits his friend Bear Willis to help his Rangers patrol the border. Henderson's superiors make it clear he is not to cross into Comancheria for any reason.
Unfortunately for Bear, he finds himself trapped in Comancheria. To make matters worse, Bear has hit his head and lost his memory. With time running out and his friend’s life on the line, Chet must decide whether to disobey my orders or leave Bear Willis to his fate.

I am honored to be part of Dusty Saddles Publishing, the leading publisher of Western Novels. Currently, I have several Western Series on Amazon: Chet Henderson: Texas Ranger Adventure Series, Bear Willis: Mountain Man Series, and Willie McGee: Mountain Man Series. Along with a co-write with my granddaughter.
In creating my Westerns, I wanted to do three things, be authentic, create likable characters, and tell a good story. With a lot of hard work and prayer, my books have been well received, so, I must be doing something right.
I live with my wife of fifty-three years and our cat Moxie on Rattlesnake Ridge. We are lucky that our children, grandchildren, and great-grandson all live close by. When I'm not writing, I enjoy woodcarving, fishing, and pampering my classic Jaguar.
I donate a portion of the profits from my books to Veteran charities, including the Veteran’s Independence Project.
