Pandas Workout is a very refreshing book on learning the roles of this ubiquitous data science library. I liked from the get go the concept of learning by doing which is why this resonated with me. That reminds me fully of the hedgehog concept where you spend 10,000 hours on something to achieve mastery. It’s also fairly gentle because the exercises in the book grow in incremental complexity. Give this book a try; like many Manning Publications books it will really exercise your Python pandas muscles.

Fantastic. I completed the exercises using Polars and the book is just as applicable to that library as it is to Pandas.
