My least favorite ending.

I preferred the variant endings from the actual book - this wasn't bad but I'm finding it a bit forgettable even a day later, which is definitely not a good sign. I also was expecting it to be different based on the title. On a slightly unrelated note, I love that the author included both an audiobook and an ebook version of it for her newsletter subscribers. Accessibility really makes me swoon.

I preferred the endings included in the books. The character motivations in this one weren't as clear in places and it was all-around less satisfying and memorable than the other two endings. Still, it's Lianyu Tan, so it's good---and newsletter subscribers get their pick between ebook and audio format. Very neat!
