I’d say that the story itself is like a 3.5, but I really liked Morgan as a character so I’ll round it to a 4. But the damn miscommunication trope irks my soul so bad it’s ridiculous

I disliked JD in Kat and Brick's book. This made me realise he wasn't completely at fault. Is he at fault? Yes. Also I absolutely hated the third act conflict of this book. Hated it. Can't wait to read other books in the series.
