I was so sad for Viktor at the end of Book 3, but here he gets his own story.
Despondent at losing Natalie and Rose - emotions complicated by the relief at his friend's survival - Viktor returns to his childhood home where he finds his first love still waiting for him and his grandmother seriously ill. A series of incidents lead him back to Maxim, who charges him with becoming Amelia's bodyguard when she takes up her place at university in California.
Not a BDSM story - Viktor isn't part of the lifestyle - these two stories see him rebuild his life and fall in love with someone for whom he will be number one.
An age-gap causes issues, as does a friend who wants more.
Very enjoyable.
