About the author

Sergiu Pobereznic is a novelist, composer, artist, and sculptor.
He was formerly a world class principal ballet dancer and danced with both The Royal Ballet Company and The Birmingham Royal Ballet in England. In his second career, he has embraced music composition (orchestral), painting, sculpting, choreography, and writing novels and essays.
He was born in Romania in 1967 and moved to England (1978) at the age of 11 following his father’s defection in 1975 during the Cold War period. Sergiu was accepted into the famous Royal Ballet School almost immediately. Thus, began a prestigious classical ballet career spanning 20 years.
Sergiu is a voracious reader and indulges his passion for scouring bookshops. Other hobbies include, keeping fit with powerlifting, kick-boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He also plays several instruments.
He lives in Melbourne with his partner, Stephanie Kent Ross, and a collection of exotic cats!
