Wow
Wow, I was blown away by how hot and relatable this short story was. I loved that it was about a happily married couple who were proactively enhancing their relationship. I love reading silly, angsty, fantasy all varieties of stories but it's also great to read something akin to real life. It reminds me of the greatly missed writing of Cara Mckenna

Minx Noir has done it again, folks. If there’s one thing that will get me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME., it’s stories about realistic couples working through realistic issues. Add in some mind-melting spice, an MMC who has a sexual awakening when his wife spontaneously gets brave enough to ask for something new in bed, and some of the best, most vulnerable communication about sexual shame that I’ve ever read? Immediate 5 star read. I cannot wait for the rest of these novelettes!!

I loved this.
I’m excited to read more from this author. This was the perfect intro for me. I thought she did a great job with Annika, I know first hand how being afraid to ask for something can be scary, afraid to feel embarrassed or to be shut down. And her husband was so good about it, ugh I loved her husband. I hope every man/husband would try to meet their wife’s needs the way he does. I loved this, I hope to have a marriage like this someday!

this is why I follow Minx Noir.
Not sure why there aren't more reviews, but these books make me feel seen. The escapism is perfect, yet still grounded in a very realistic situation. And the spice is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ as always. My only regret is that the entire series isn't available just yet.
