my brain hurts

I can’t tell if it’s the authors maturity level or ADHD but this book literally hurts my brain, I had to skipped over so much of the ending.

Another disapppointing book by this author. The only reason I read this book was to find out more about Matt and Brooklyn's baby. The final book in Empire High had no epilogue and having to read another series to find out what happened makes no sense. We do find out they have baby girl and also find out Mason and Bee have a girl too.

The storyline for Too Much Sausage was ridiculous. A genie? Cannot have sex, flaming penis. What the...Bringing supernatural into a romance series, really? Tanner being a genie who is hundreds year old and needs to make a 1000 people fall in love. Nigel being old too. It was just weird. Ash having sex with guy after guy to help Tanner and him being fine with it. Then suddenly she wants to get pregnant. Chapter titles that were more like SGR and some were worse than SGR. Chastity seemed tame compared to Ash in this book. Any interaction Ash had with Matt was just utterly ridiculous and thankfully their were few of them.

There were other scenes that were just weird. Tanner practically ignoring Jacob and the whole Jacob can see my world but his parents don't know and he will just forget when he's older. When Ash talks about Dr Lyons. Ash's comments about James. Ash thinking she is pregnant in a week and asking Rob for a special pregnancy test. Rob doing a Hunter Cooper mess around with Ash. Matt still having to get his clothes from Tanner's house because of Nigel. Nigel's house having baths and sexy paintings only. Chastity hanging out with Nigel.

I really don't understand Tanner being a genie and tying Hunted and Empire series to this series. If you want to make Tanner and Ash's series different, go ahead but why ruin Hunted and Empire High series too!

I have been nothing but disappointed by books from this author with her releases in the last 2 years. Her writing style has changed and its not in a good direction. Its almost like someone else is writing the books. The books are not smutty and not funny. And days or few weeks in 1 book for pretty much nothing to get resolved is just bad. I have read books that were smutty, funny, romantic, or supernatural and really Ivy's books don't compare. I am honestly worried about future series as this style of writing is just not enjoyable to read. I keep hoping the writing gets better but it gets worse instead.

Some people may love this book for whatever reason but I really did not. The only enjoyable moments were Untouchables and their kid mentions which you should not have to read Too Much Sausage or Tanner and Ash's series to find out about. I am not sure if I will read the final book, True Love, and if I do it will only be for Untouchable mentions.

Very disappointed in this book. I have ready almost all of Ivy’s books and this one was just immature and all over the place. I don’t feel like the characters even fit themselves. The fiction was far stretched and I found myself not wanting to read and skipping pages of nonsense. Very saddened by the way Ash kept treating Tanner. I will read the next because I wanna know what happens but if it is like this one I will have a hard time getting through it.

I don’t understand any of this. Did I miss where this series was going ‘paranormal’? Fiction is fiction and obviously some books go beyond the pale…but this is ridiculous. For the record I didn’t read this, I skimmed it. Because I read the other two books and I want to know what happens. I got dumber reading this and all I can think is that Ash is the stupidest and most gullible person ever and Tanner is playing her like a fool.

I LOVED Society #1 & #2.. but Society #3 fell short for me.

This book didn’t feel like Ivy’s normal writing style for Society books. It felt too much like Single Girl Rules style (I don’t have anything against SGR as I’ve read those too but you have to be in the right mood to read it because it’s all over the place, super raunchy, extremely funny, and at the end you wonder how did they get themselves in all that trouble? It was probably all Chastity’s fault.. lol). In #3, Ash was all over the place in this book, she went from cute quirky/awkward to uncomfortably awkward. Tanner seemed less hot and more “douchey” this book too. Chastity and Nigel were their normal selves and nothing changed there. The book went from going down one path in the first two books to jumping all over the place in the third.. it just didn’t make any logical sense by the end.

I didn’t want #1 & #2 to end… but I found myself speed reading #3 at around the 50% mark just to get to the conclusion to see what the cliff hanger is for the final installment. I’ll end up reading #4 to finish out the series but I’m hoping it goes back to the true Society writing that we all loved and less SGR.

this was…I cannot believe I finished it

I kept thinking that the crazy plot was going to be a dream. I was disappointed by the last book that nothing actually happened but then this was just feels like drugs were taken and they published whatever was written down. I love Ivy and I’m happy to see the other characters from previous books but this was cringy. Like painful to keep reading but I kept thinking it would get better. Spoiler: it doesn’t.

Ugh

This book is awful. It makes me sad because I really like this author. Her Hunted and Empire High series are great. The first 2 books of this series were ok but this one is awful. It's all over the top smut with very little plot and it's not even good smut. Let's not even discuss Tanner's secret. So let down by the turn this series took that I'm not sure I'll read the next book.

Disappointed so far

Don’t read if you don’t want spoilers!!

Ireally liked the previous books, but with this one I am disappointed for far. I figure out quite quickly that Tanner was a genie from earlier books, so no surprise for me here, but I do like his character, especially in Matt and Brooklyn’s books that has some truly beautiful moments. But with this book, I just can’t make myself like Ash, where she was cute and hilarious before, now she feels so shallow and has no depth of character, and I think Tanner’s character is bit forgotten. I am struggling to believe her love for him. `he’s more believable for me. Spicy scenes feel forced, too.Lots of chaotic writing, which is guess is Ivy’s style and very fast paced.Didn’t connect with this book, it feels rushed and I am hoping ‘True Love’ will redeem this for me as I really like ivy’s other books.

This book is to bitty I didn't understand what I was reading so then I wasn't intrested . They also took away from the last empire book which was such a shame as that seriers started off great . I wont be reading this book or the last of the series unfortunately it really wasn't for me , which is a shame as the first book was great .

Get ready to laugh, then yell at Ash for multiple reasons, then laugh again, and then let your jaw drop.
Ivy does it again with the third Society book! This book is full of (in no particular order) Secretses, shocking twists, huge sausages and very… small sausages, more wishes, history lessons and artifacts, soccer for us Americans/football for everyone else, showers, keys, matchmaking, carnivals, adorable babies, baby fever, the whole gang is back, more incidents, in jail and on trial, Halloween party, Hansel and Gretel, castles, private islands, Rob knows, pranks, and all the cookies!
Ivy has so many reveals in this book from Tanner’s big secret, to other let’s say smaller reveals, to some flirting but not flirting with Nigel and a certain blonde. Calling it here first - Nastity!
Then Ivy gives us another big reveal at the end or should I say 3 or maybe 4 because Ash seems to lose her clothes at the worst times.
After all the reveals and secrets coming out - will there be a happily ever after or will everything come crashing down? I can’t wait for the final book!

When I am currently going through a life changing event and my favorite Author sends me her new book early. 😍 Ivy thank you for making me laugh when I needed it the most. This book made me laugh so much. Tanner secret is...... Just kidding I wouldn't spoil that for anyone. I love Ash and for a while I thought maybe she was my spirit animal but no Nigel is! I wish I had a Nigel in my life. 🤣🤣🤣 I can't wait for the next one! 😍

Too Much Sausage by Ivy Smoak was not at all what I was expecting. As a fan of Smoak's previous works, I had high hopes for this book, but it just didn't meet the standards I'm used to in the Ivy Smoak world.

The excessive "out-there" scenes felt too forced and were mainly used for comedic effect, which unfortunately did nothing to enhance the overall story. While Smoak's previous books have delivered true in-depth feelings that make you laugh, cry, scream, and get excited for the characters, this one fell short. The emotional connection I usually feel was missing, and I found myself having to force my way through the unrealistic events and activities.

Tanner, a character who has shown such heart and dynamic growth in Matt's books, seemed to lose all that development here. Instead, everything about him turned into a sexual joke, which was a bit of a letdown. The character growth I had come to appreciate was overshadowed by the over-the-top humor.

Overall, I was a little disappointed with Too Much Sausage. It lacked the emotional depth and genuine character development that I have come to expect from Ivy Smoak's writing. If you're looking for the heartfelt, engaging stories that Smoak usually delivers, this one might not hit the mark.

I love Ivy's other books and I did enjoy the previous two in the society series, however this one just didn't hit the mark for me.

I skimmed through a lot of it. Yes, there were a handful of scenes I enjoyed like when Ash finally found out about what Tanner was. I enjoyed seeing characters from the Empire High, The Hunted, and the Men of Manhattan series again but aside from that it felt a bit chaotic, and a lot of unnecessary fluff to get to the 4th book.

Pile of Garbage

I finished the book just so I could give it a chance of a fair review.... It was one of the worst books I have ever read. I loved the first book so much and read the others by Ivy Smoak. This and the last book were a steaming pile of crap.

I do not know how she could make Ash any more dumb or offensive. She is extremely unlikable and immature. The entire plot of the book could be solved if any of the characters used their brains. Instead, it was hours of reading the dumbest fever dream.

I'm done with this author. Her last few books have been unedited erotica.

"The Society Too Much Sausage" is the third installment in Ivy Smoak's delightfully fun and spicy The Society Series. This fantasy love story is packed with humor, making it one of those rare series that has me literally laughing out loud. If you're a fan of #StalkerProblems, you'll like this book, as it continues to explore the hilarious antics of characters like Tanner, Nigel, Ash, and Chastity.

Ash, who has always been a lovable and anxious character, truly comes into her own in this series. While she’s been the star of Ivy Smoak’s Single Girl Rules novellas, here we dive deeper into the real Ashely Cooper. Her over-the-top incidents, including the infamous Ginger Supremacy Incident, will keep you laughing, even if at times her actions veer a bit toward the ridiculous. In this book, Ash becomes overly obsessed with a side mission that, in my opinion, dulls her sharp wit a little, but it’s all part of her charm.

One of the highlights for me was the chance to get inside Tanner’s head through his POV chapters. His character development was fantastic, and we finally learn his big secret! Tanner shines as a book boyfriend, and his relationship with Ash adds even more layers to the story. Nigel, while often annoying, felt more tolerable here, and his dynamic with Chastity continues to provide a lot of fun.

Fans of Smoak’s Empire High and The Hunted series will be thrilled with the cameo appearances of beloved characters, especially the integration of "Young Robert" into this tense, cliffhanger ending. Ivy Smoak leaves us on the edge of our seats, hearts bleeding for Tanner, and wondering how the story will resolve. Will Ash redeem herself and use her brain in the next book? I can’t wait to find out!

This book is a must-read for anyone who loves humor, spice, and a wild, unpredictable ride. Ivy Smoak has done it again, and I’m eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this crazy, laugh-out-loud series!
I was going to give this book 4 stars but the level of Rob Hunter in this book, added a star so 5 because of Rob!

Ash and Chastity always have the craziest moments and thoughts. The two of them together always seem to make me laugh. Some of the awkward moments that Ash seems to have always make me laugh. Tanner and Ash have the best chemistry and I can’t wait for the next book to see if they get their happy ending, which I hope they do. Also, we FINALLY get Tanner‘s secret, well, Tanner and Nigel’s secret, and I guessed it at one point, but some clues would make me change my mind. Throughout this book, I kept sensing some chemistry between Nigel and Chastity as they’re so much alike. It makes me think Nigel is who Chastity marries in the Single Girl Rules series. I can’t believe we also get to learn so much more about Tanner. Also, if you’ve read this series, you have learned about Tanner and his flaming penis that could kill someone, but I definitely wonder if it wouldn’t affect Ash as they are most definitely soulmates, in my opinion. I just think Tanner and Ash work so well together as they both share the same type of humor and can both be awkward. And if you’ve read some of the teaser quotes on Ivy‘s Insta, you would have seen that Ash gets to meet his friends and the whole interaction was perfect. And of course, there is tons of smut and a lot of chaos. Now we have to wait till November to get the ending of this series as of course, this book ends on a chaotic cliffhanger. I’m sad that we’re reaching the end of the series, but I know we’ll see a lot of these characters again in the future. I also need to add one last thing, I just need Tanner to finally get his happily ever after like Brooklyn said he would, plus I also want to see Nigel get his happy ending too.

Too Much Sausage ( The Society Book 3 ) Have you ever picked up a book or a series that just hooked you in a way no other has for a very long time ? That you found yourself not only falling completely in love with from the very first page but had the ability to make you feel so many different emotions you never saw coming? Everything from being speechless one second to screaming outta frustration the next , then your smiling and laughing out loud and before you know what’s happening bam your heart is actually breaking , and your sobbing and rooting so freaking hard . It’s Kinda like being on the craziest ride at the amusement park !!! you know that feeling you get in your stomach from being excited and nervous at the same time - the anticipation of whats to come next ? Well this is without a doubt that series for me . Too much Sausage is the continuation of Ash and Tanners story , tanners secret is finally revealed , a secret that definitely causes some problems for his and Ash’s relationship. But have not fear because love really does conquer all . I could honestly sit here all night and try to find the words to express all the reasons you need to read this book / series or how much I genuinely have fallen in love with everything about Tanner and Ashs characters and love story / adventure but the simple fact is no words can post do it enough justice . And in my opinion you really need to experience all its perfection by simply picking it up and reading

Ivy will always have my heart with her books because they are just absolutely hilarious. The Society books have been absolute comedic relief.

We finally learn Tanner’s secret in this book, which has been so long awaited since we’ve been shown he’s got secrets through the other two books as well as some of the Empire High books. Lol.

Chasity is the spirit animal of any female who has intrusive thoughts…except most of the time, she lets all of hers out in the most hilarious, embarrassing ways.

If you want a good laugh and book you cannot put down because of the off the wall surprise, this is the series for you!

My favorite part was finding out the identity of Matt and Brooke’s little babe, as we all appreciate that crossover and obviously will get more crossovers in other series. Can’t wait for the final book to release to see how all of this ultimately plays out!

There's a lot going on in this book. Ash finally learns that Tanner is a 343 year old genie virgin who can't be freed from his genie curse until he matches 1001 couple. Then he goes to the dodo council to try to get free but they instead sentence him to find Ash's true love which is him. So he thinks if he finds her lesser true love that this will set him free to be with her. Turns out Nigel was the one who originally got him sentenced when he ratted him out to the Sultan that Tanner was in love with one of his wives. The Sultan sentenced them both to be genies and deal with eachother forever. Everyone else eventually died. Tanner is sick of watching people die. Ash gets baby crazy after meeting baby Chloe Caldwell, Matt and brooklyn's baby. But this girl is wild. She says the worst things. She gets herself into trouble. She's clumsy. SHe manages to screw around with a bunch of dudes to try to get pregnant and hoping that one of them is her lesser true love so she can be with Tanner. It's a disaster. IN the end she accidentally tells Rob that Tanner is a genie, thinking he already knew and then Daphne overhears and that's how it ends.

** 100% spoiler-free review **
* 5 hilariously outrageous stars *

Where do I even start with this review????? If you know Ivy Smoak then you KNOW how her mind works. This story is outrageously crazy in all of the best ways. It's rip-roaringly funny, a little romantic, insanely kinky, and, while you'll get lots of answers, it'll leave you with so many more questions. We finally learn Tanner's big secret which made me giddy. I had an inkling but the reveal was so much more than I expected! Too Much Sausage is 10-alarm hot. I'm talking call every firehouse in your area, because they'll need to hose you and your Kindle off! You won't get any spoilers from me in this review but just know that it ends on a cliffhanger (I mean it is Ivy Smoak after all!) and it'll keep you guessing right up until the end. Do not miss this story....but make sure you've read all of the other Society books first because Too Much Sausage is not a standalone. 5 stars

Tanners secret revealed

I KNEW IT!! Okay well maybe more like it was 1 out of 5 of my guesses but we FINALLY learned Tanner’s secret!! WOW! I mean it’s pretty good and everything makes so much more sense now. Although if you know anything about Ash, she’s pretty gullible and may have blabbed this huge secret to the entirely absolutely wrong person LMAO. But this book was nothing short of make you want to pee yourself from laughing so hard especially when it comes to my spirit animal Chasity and ummm is this an intro into who she actually marries?! I’m calling it here now! Oh tops of all the laughs we have definitely gotten one of Ash’s sp!c!est scenes ever and good lord I was not ready because it’s pretty funny how she got herself into that situation. BUT one last secret was revealed….the gender reveal for baby Caldwell!!! I love the cross over and miss Mattlyn so much already. I can’t wait for the final book in the series to see how this all plays out and I just want Ash and Tanner together! In more ways than one LOL.

How did this book ever get above a 3 star rating?!

This book was horrible which is so disappointing because I really enjoyed her other books and was looking forward to Tanner's story . This series with Tanner has been by far the worst and I couldn't even finish book 3. The writing and plot is not only redundant, it is dragging on and on and its just not a very good plot turn. SPOILER ALERTS COMING. Ash is so over played and so over the top that instead of being adorable for being unique she is just someone I can't stand to even read about. A little goes a long way and ASH is way too much. Don't get me started on Chastity. We get it, she has no personality except for s*x. She has no substance. She could be kil*ed off and I wouldn't even care. It went from Ash needing to find a lesser true love by being with many men, to her wanting A BABY?!!! Even though when she thought Tanner was proposing she said no? Make that make sense! THEN she is having triplets and doesn't know who the father is?! Why Ivy, why? Tanner' story could have been so good but it is ruined now!

Wow this book is not what I expected from previous society books.
Tanner is as expected but I would have loved more interaction with Young Robert as I love them two bickering like old wives 🤣🤣 Tanner should have just told Ash how he was feeling about the clinic etc though.
Ash was very OTT in this book and was acting more like Chastity than her usual self but she is still as accident prone as usual 🤣 can’t believe she blabbed the secret to you know who 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
Nigel wasn’t as extra as he normally is which is a shame as I adore Nigel he is my favourite and I would have loved more of his antics as he always makes me laugh.
It was good to find out the secret and the actual back story of Tanner & Nigel’s relationship and Ash seeing what happened.
Chastity was soooo OTT though and I don’t think she has an off switch when it comes to s*x she is crazy.
I need to see what the next book brings to see what happens.

Disgustingly filthy in a good way!

If you are this far into the series you know to expect the crazy unexpected from Ash and Tanner, especially if Chastity and Nigel are around. Well strap in for this one because it's about to go off the charts!

It took me a while to adjust to the fantasy aspect of Tanners world after the last couple of books, because I didn't like how it collided with where I had placed James and Penny in my mind. Once I got over that and realised it's fiction and the author can take it where she wants and it's my choice to read it, I was able to enjoy it for what it was. Hillarious and utterly filthy!

So in the end, what's not to love? We find out Tanners secret, Ash mortifies herself in numerous ways and The Society members are banging anything that moves left, right and centre!

As to whether there is too much sausage, you will have to decide. But there was definitely too much cookie funnel cake for my taste!

Leave your sense of proprietary at the door and dive in!

Where do I begin? You never know which direction a Society book is going but be prepared for, raunchy, crazy and expect any and everything. Ash showed a side that you've never seen before, Chastity was wild and over the top as you would expect but there were shocking twists and secrets were revealed. There was non-stop laughter, unpredictable incidents and at times I was left slack jawed by the shenanigans and, as the title implies, there were sausages and more sausages of all shapes and sizes. Ash has gotten herself into a bit of a pickle because let's face it too many sausages were involved and wherever Ash and Chastity go, something always goes awry so yes, there were wild and crazy shenanigans. Alas, Tanner's secret has been revealed but is there a happily ever after for Ash and Tanner? That is what they both want but happily ever always seem to elude them. We'll find out in book 4 for sure.
