It seems that my former power is gradually returning to me in my new body. I still have all my past experience, however, and everything is proceeding just as it should.
How quickly can I earn money and build my reputation? No, I'm not going to resort to killing and looting. I'm an Architect, after all! I'm going to craft and build things! That's how Architects work! The time has come to rebuild my empire. So… I might end up having to do some killing and looting, after all. I'm not short of enemies…
Such a good story! I love the mc and how smart he is as well as all the good help he has now. I can’t wait until he finally gives that jerk the what for!
I received a review copy of this book. The Order of Architects book 3 is just as good as the other books in the series. I really like seeing the new tricks the main character comes up with to solve seemingly insurmountable problems. It's all very entertaining, and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I really liked this one, and I suspect the next one will be just as amusing as this one was.
Biggest complaint I have for this series is the tangents and reminiscents. They take you out of the story and usually add nothing but background to the larger universe. They are often interesting but still feel like speed bumps in the plot.
They were all but gone in this entry. Only one flashback, and a short one, everything was on point and had relevance to what was going on.
This is another review of yet another arc from Magic Dome books. This is a series, that I really enjoy. I look forward to each new arc.
I enjoy going through and seeing how the translation from Russian to English is, and how smooth it is. Any mistakes that I find I usually send back to the publishing company so that they can fix it. I found 30 in this particular one, mostly archaic forms of talking. Hopefully that will be fixed.
8/10 Looking forward to the next book in the series.
I really love how Theodore is slowly expanding and how he meets new people in this book, but wish we could have gotten more of the golem duo and them getting like a golem squad going. I also wish more of Borris’s or his grandpa’s friends join them since all of them seem bad ass. Simeon is a bad ass but hope Theodore can help him grow some other way.
There is no no major progress but some new characters are introduced and some lose ends are dealt with.. Sadly, the story misses sidekicks as Shnoop or Kooky..
All in all, the story was too administrative for my taste to deserve a better rating..
As I get deeper into the series, I am glad I am also concurrently reading other books by these authors. It doesn't delve so deep with the the hints you get distracted or confused more like you get hints that their is an overall arc that more is going on in the universe. Kudos to a great fast pace storyline and keep them coming.
Theodore the Babylonian is expanding his business empire with his usual skill and aplomb. His building company needs trucks, bulldozers, cranes and vehicles for the staff. He also needs land close to town in order to do emergency repairs for the local council. Lots of fun and games occur, including a visit from family.
I like the series but there’s a lot of times that the reader is taken out of the story. You’re very much telling the story, not showing the story. Almost like I’m reading diary entries of the main character. Which is fine but it just feels odd. Planning on continuing with the story but I’m not sure I feel the price is worth a book I finish in about 2 hours.
Really like this series, has depth. Find myself laughing a bit from the dry millitary humour, however i do find that there is some repetition when he talks about skills almost like a flash back that isnt required but am.loving the series
Theodore seems to be getting stronger with his magic, plus he seems to be able to do new things. The series continues to be one of my favorites. I like the humor, action, mystery and intrigue. I look forward to the next by.
Great story ,fun action and alot of laughs, magic and explosives and a smart-ass protagonist, seeing how he solves problems smartly and effectively without to much questions being answered , I love this series , read it and have fun , just like me
This a really good book but would really appreciate if the author can remove the frequent curses…. Specifically taking the Lords name in vain. Excited to read the next book when it comes out!
That could pretty much be the theme of this book. Our favorite architect is really coming into his own work his schemes, and his enemies have no idea what a maelstrom awaits them. This was another fun read on the series. Looking forward to the next!
Very fun. Enjoyable read that leaves you wanting more!!!
The series has a few editing problems, but really that's it. It's simple yet fun and entertaining and a joy just to turn the pages and watch the story unfold. Can't wait for book 4!!!
I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.
Theodore is up to his antics! Expand his powers, use them to build his new construction company. He is collecting amazing people to help build his dynasty. He is meeting with some special people as well.
Great read. Action, adventure, great story lines! I mean by that is Theodore does have his main goal, but the subplots are outstanding. Very well integrated. Makes sense and is interesting. Really great read!
I need the next book, could not put this one down! If your looking for a book to keep you engaged plus a main character who isn’t an idiot look no further.
