Liked the idea for this one (love Gargoyle mythology/lore) but the climax was a bit of a letdown and it has a completely out-of-left-field deus ex machina that drops my 3.5⭐ to a flat 3⭐ for this one. Good but not great.

I find this series a little more interesting than other supernatural books for kids. They're well written but not too long for the age group.
