First, I did not read the first book to know what I was getting into. The first book may have shed some light on the story as I felt a little lost at the beginning.
Second, I think I have a different idea of what dark is. This felt like a Hallmark version of dark with a lot of religion thrown in. I realize that angel was one of the tags but it felt like a fable to tell at Sunday school at times.
This maybe great for someone who knew what they were getting into but it was nothing like I was expecting.

This is a short read. This is Gabe’s story. Gabe is one of the fallen angels. When a Succubus shows up in his room, he is not sure what to do. Why is she there? Did the devil send her? Can he resist her? Will God ever accept him back? I did feel the ending needed to say more. It did not really tell you exactly what happened to everybody.

this had everything that I was hoping for and enjoyed about the dark fantasy romance genre. The overall feel worked with the first book in the Temptation of Angels series. I enjoyed the idea of angels and demons in this and was glad I got to read this. It continued this world perfectly and was glad I got to read this with these characters.
