USA Today Bestseller

Do you suspect you’re capable of more but keep settling for less? Take a journey of self-love and personal growth that puts you back in control of your story and catapults you into the success you’ve been convinced is beyond reach.

Too often our inner critic fabricates stories that undervalue our capabilities or make us question where we’re going and why. The things we keep telling ourselves eventually start to feel true and even inevitable—as if we’re destined to live within the confines of that story for the rest of our lives.

Sought-after speaker and executive coach Chad Sanschagrin teaches that “you find what you focus on,” and he’s shown millions in search of a better life how to write a better story by focusing on who they want to become instead of what they want to achieve.

Learn to apply SHIFT—See How I Find Truth—to reclaim your personal narrative and produce a truer reflection of who you are and who you want to be. To do so, you’ll enact key mindset shifts, moving
Worthless to worthy Lack to abundance Doubt to faith Indifference to respect and love

The ultimate goal of shifting your thinking is to uncover “Cannonball moments”—those times when you don’t have to wonder why you bother with everything you do or worry about what comes next because you glimpse the significance of it all in the arc of your life.

No matter how you most want to be better—whether as a parent, spouse, leader, or all that and more—Keep Telling Yourself shows you the power of the stories we tell ourselves and how to rewrite yours to realize your full potential.

Keep Telling Yourself by Chad Sanschagrin is nothing short of transformative. From the very first page, it felt like the book was speaking directly to me, shining a light on the negative patterns of self-talk I didn’t even realize were holding me back. Sanschagrin’s words are both gentle and powerful, drawing you in and making you confront the stories you’ve been telling yourself—stories that have been quietly shaping your life in ways you didn’t even notice.

This book didn’t just motivate me; it changed me. It forced me to reflect on how I speak to myself, and the realization was striking: I’ve been my own harshest critic for far too long. Keep Telling Yourself offers a roadmap to break free from that cycle and embrace a more compassionate, empowering inner dialogue. It’s not just a quick fix; it’s an invitation to heal and grow, slowly but surely, by rewriting the narrative in your head.

By the end, I didn’t just feel inspired—I felt empowered. It was as if a weight had been lifted, and for the first time, I believed that the stories I tell myself do matter, and I have the power to change them.

If you’re ready to face your inner critic, rewrite your story, and experience real transformation, this book is a must-read. It’s quick, but it will leave an emotional impact that will resonate with you long after the final page.

Thank you Chad for this life changing book!

Keep Telling Yourself is a practical and actionable guide to the abundant life. The stories that illustrate the principles in the book are so relatable and well written. There are times when you can feel yourself in the location, feeling those same feelings Chad has described. Most importantly, there are tools in the book that can be put into use immediately. A lot of personal growth books overcomplicate the process of improvement. Keep Telling Yourself breaks it down into simple yet powerful steps to acheive what is possible. This book will change lives, I highly recommend it.

Keep Telling Yourself by Chad Sanschagrin is on my bookshelf (…only for the photo op though)! I can’t stop reading. Storytelling is not just a skill it’s an art! From the first pages and mention of Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner reference I could totally relate. It only gets better as I read on. As I prepare for 2025 and a new year of possibilities at work and in life, you’ll find me reading these chapters again and again! https://www.keeptellingyourself.com

“Keep Telling Yourself” is hands down the most impactful self-betterment book I’ve come across in years. It’s not just a guide—it’s a blueprint for intentionally crafting the life you want and owning your story. What sets this book apart is its blend of actionable insights and deeply personal storytelling. Chad masterfully weaves together his own triumphs and failures, offering lessons in a way that’s both relatable and easy to apply.

More than just step-by-step instructions, this book is a tapestry of stories woven together that will make a lasting impression on your heart. Each chapter carries wisdom that sticks with you long after you’ve turned the final page.

As a leader in a $100 million-a-year business and an owner of another company with 60 employees, I’m incredibly grateful for the wisdom in these pages—not just for my own growth, but for how it allows me to uplift those around me.

If your life feels perfect, this book will deepen your gratitude and self-awareness. If it’s not, it will equip you with the tools and mindset to create meaningful change. Either way, it’s a must-read.

This book opened my eyes to how powerful affirmations can be, not just for me, but for the people I care about most. Since reading it, I’ve seen my daughters grow in confidence and self-love. It has been amazing to witness their belief in themselves blossom. Chad’s writing feels so relatable, it really makes you stop and think about your purpose and the way your inner dialogue impacts your life.

I think the most powerful thing in this book is the mindset shift. It's about moving away from a victim mentality and changing your perspective. Instead of seeing things as happening to you, you start to see them as happening for you. Highly highly recommend!!

Notes

SHIFT. See How I Find Truth.

What is your origin story (where do you come from, formative events that are most key). It’s up to you to determine which stories/events/actions you consider most impactful. You can’t change your past. Are you focused on failures or getting up? Empowered vs. Weak?

Banana car game. Ask, how many yellow cars have you seen on the road? If you are looking for yellow cars, how many do you think you will have? You will find what you are searching for. If you are searching for joy, you will find it. If you are searching for bad things you will find.

I am is the most powerful phrase in the English dictionary. Ultimate control over your narrative. How do you use it.

Idea – Ask each team member to tell me what are the 3 biggest expectations your company has for you? How confident are you that everyone on the team will agree with the same biggest 3 expectations.

The people you surround yourself with will lift you up or drag you down. Army – the squadrons tend to perform at the health level of the squadrons least fit, least healthy, least motivated member.

Ego means = Edging God Out. Taking credit for greatness for yours alone. That doesn’t mean we are anything less than great, the opposite is true.

Chad Sanschagrin’s Keep Telling Yourself is an extraordinary work of empowerment, resilience, and self-transformation. With an honest, raw voice, Chad invites readers to examine their self-limiting beliefs and replace them with affirmations of possibility, hope, and courage. This book is not just a guide—it’s a companion for anyone seeking to break through barriers and create a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.

One of the most inspirational aspects of this book is Chad’s ability to weave his personal stories into universal lessons. He speaks to the reader as a mentor and a friend, making complex ideas about mindset and growth feel accessible and actionable. Through his own journey of struggle and triumph, he reminds us that our greatest setbacks can become the launchpads for our biggest comebacks.

Chad’s emphasis on the power of self-talk is particularly compelling. The simple mantra, “Keep telling yourself,” serves as a powerful reminder that our words shape our reality. By choosing words of encouragement, strength, and belief, we can transform our inner dialogue and, in turn, our lives.
Prepare to be moved, motivated, and forever changed!!

**Book Review: *Keep Telling Yourself***

*Keep Telling Yourself* is a must-read for anyone—regardless of age or stage in life. While it offers powerful insights for professionals and business owners, its message resonates far beyond the workplace. This book is about mindset, resilience, and the stories we tell ourselves, making it just as relevant for young adults, parents, and anyone navigating personal growth.

From the first page, I was hooked. The storytelling is compelling, weaving wisdom and real-life experiences in a way that never feels pushy or overly instructive. Instead, the book invites you in, making you reflect on your own life while feeling deeply understood. At moments, I laughed; at others, I found myself in tears. The emotional depth is undeniable, yet it never loses its motivational core.

What truly sets *Keep Telling Yourself* apart is its readability—I had a hard time putting it down. It’s insightful without being overwhelming, inspiring without feeling like a lecture. Highly recommend!

I bought this book simply because I heard it was written by someone from Baltimore. Gotta support fellow Marylanders!! Then, I absolutely loved it! And I happened to really need Chapter 8 “Choose your Circles” at that moment too. I do a very good job at distancing myself from those that don’t bring anything to the table. Don’t share the same vibe etc.. As a hairstylist, I had to suck it up and work on people who didn’t fit my vibe for YEARS. After opening my own space, I only invited those who I wanted to be in my space, in my circle. It’s been a while since I had to actually think about “sucking it up”, but here we are in a politically charged world… long story short, this chapter reminded me that it doesn’t matter if it’s family, friends, clients, anyone. I don’t have to be around them or include them in my circle or be a part of their circle.

Thank you Chad!! I really didn’t know how much I needed your book. I’m still not going to run a marathon though😅

Keep telling yourself, take a second and let that resonate. Such a simple saying with such a powerful meaning. This book opens your eyes to taking something as a small saying and unloading a whirl wind of meaning. Chad’s book is so relatable to anyone who picks it up and thumbs through the pages! From start to finish I could replace every chapter with my own similar experiences. It amazes me that being able to read someone else’s words would open my eyes to exactly what I’ve been through and currently going through. This is a must read and I recommend it to any one looking to grow as a person, parent, professionally, friend, sibling, the list goes on and on.

My friend told me about this book, and I’m so glad I read it. It came at the right time and made me think about some important questions. The way the author tells stories is smooth, easy to follow, and very relatable. While reading, I started thinking about how I want to begin 2025. As a working mom of three kids, I’ve gotten used to putting myself last, but this book reminded me that taking time for myself is okay. Doing that will help me be a better mom, coworker, and wife—big thanks to the author for sharing these helpful insights. I highly recommend this book!

Keep Telling Yourself
I enjoyed reading this book. The stories are relatable and really made me think about my own inner voice. The principles are very applicable to daily situations and long term goals. The stories helped me to reflect on instances from my past and ways to find the positive in every situation, if you are willing to do the work. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. I'm buying copies for my nurse colleagues.

If you are looking for a book to get you going or to keep your moving forward, this is it! The story telling is poignant, concise and entertaining. The lessons are universal and relevant. I felt echos of Mindset by Dweck and Greenlights by McConaughey. Life really comes down to the conversation with ourselves and Chad Sanschagrin has dropped a must read. Enjoy
