The book breaks up the quotes into various topics like beauty, education, responsibility and self-control among many others. The quotes cover a major span of time and a lot of famous people are included.
One of them I liked the most was 'You are the universe expressing itself as a human for a little while.'
There's another one which seems really cool: "The longer I live, the more concerned am I that this planet is used by aliens as a lunatic asylum.'
That could explain all the UFO sightings and the behavior of a lot of people, mostly in various governments.
An important thing to remember is that must because someone lived a very long time ago doesn't mean they were stupid. Some of the best quotes come from the earlier sources.

Gets you metaphysical! If you do not know that word then open that book!
Reading here and there takes me back to philosophy classes in college, which are more fun that some people think.

Exactly as the title says, this is a book of quotations that the author collected and oraganized into a wide variety of topics.
I, too, collect quotes, but as of yet have not organized them in any way. This book makes me think that I should do something similar with mine.
