Greek's Temporary "I Do" is a standalone contemporary romance by Pippa Roscoe.
It is part of a duet with with Michelle Smart's The Forbidden Greek, where the other story is hinted it at quite heavily, but I would assume that both books can be read as a standalone. But in saying that, I am intrigued to discover the other couple's story.
Helena Hadden is a great heroine, she grew up the daughter of a millionaire businessman and grew up with her father's business partner's kids. But childhood ended brutally for her and now she had made herself. Helena is a CEO who is passionate about the charity she runs. But she needs money, so she needs her inheritance, and that leads her back to her childhood with Greek twins Leander and Leo. Leo has felt betrayal enough times since last seeing Helena, and he isn't about to trust her - even if he takes on the role to be her fake husband.
There is a lot of healing and trauma around all the excesses of this story. This book is your quintessential Harlequin wealthy Greek tycoon romance, and is such a guilty pleasure. This is a story wrapped with misunderstandings, childhood friendships, parental issues and unrequited love.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
