Didn’t expect anything less than greatness from this book. I really enjoyed how descriptive it was as if I was with autumn in the book through her entire journey, and how there was no dull spots. Every chapter had me wanting to read more, very well written!!! Can’t wait to read more of his books when they come out.

🥀The book "Grow" is penned by the author
Justin Montello. This gripping story is set in a world of dystopia when authoritarian governments rule and the ecology is devastated. With his deft storytelling, the author offers readers a devastating meditation on the status of our world & the immense impact of individual action, all while creating a story that is both contemporary and profoundly compelling. Autumn Log, the lead character, is a captivating figure who is essential to the struggle against environmental collapse because of her remarkable capacity to sprout new trees. Immediately engrossing us in Autumn's universe, the author creates a dystopian scenario where the once-vibrant landscapes of the New United States (N.U.S.) and the Southern United States (S.U.S.) are ruled by despotism and terror.

🥀Because of the risks that are involved in Autumn's mission to revitalize the earth, readers are going to find her journey to be an engrossing and thrilling book. The author does a terrifying and convincing job of capturing the dystopian setting. The intense description of Autumn's journey through the dangerous weather and disorganized surroundings nearly elevates them to the status of independent individuals. Readers are prompted to contemplate the practical consequences of environmental disregard by the menacing and thought-provoking imagery of a world in which nature is at battle with mankind's negligence. The story is made more suspenseful and urgent by Autumn's interactions with authority figures. The tension is evident as she navigates the border's hazards, giving the impression that her struggle is happening right now.

🥀She is constantly reminded of the authoritarian system she is fighting against by the screaming sirens and the continual threat of capture that marks her journey.

🥀The emphasis of the book places on resiliency and hope makes it stand out. Autumn is remarkable in her drive to give existence back to a decaying world, even in the face of insurmountable odds. Her activities are intended to challenge what is happening quo and spark change, not only to survive. As a result of Montello's masterful portrayal of the fundamentals of a wanted person, Autumn's goal comes to represent resistance and rebirth. The rhythm of the story is well handled, with each chapter constructing on the last to give the reader a feeling of forward motion.

🥀Because of the author's descriptive and approachable prose, a broad audience may relate to his intricate subjects of environmentalism and authoritarianism. The more delicate parts are filled with profound emotional resonance, the action scenes are exciting, and the dialogue is razor sharp. The main theme of the book is the strength of individual action, which makes it one of its most captivating features. Autumn's story demonstrates the power of one person in the midst of extreme hardship.

🥀Readers are prompted by her experience to consider their own responsibilities for defending the environment and opposing injustice. This book is a well written book that combines adventure, environmental advocacy, and dystopian fiction. A universe of terror and hope, created by the author, has a woman whose bravery and tenacity will linger with readers a long time later they turn the final page. This book is a must-read for everyone searching for a thrilling as well stimulating book.

Great book! I really enjoyed reading it and found it hard to put down. The chapters are shorter and each one leaves you wanting more! It is one of those books you can finish in a few days. The characters were relatable and the message behind the book is powerful. The author’s craft is great and the details really make the book come alive. The book reminds me of The Hunger Games series and is packed with action. I highly recommend this for young adults and adults alike. I’m hoping there is a sequel and a movie or tv series adaptation.

This read has the vibes of the Netflix series Outer Banks if it were a novel. In fact, this book would be a great novel-to-tv series adaptation! This book is action packed and leaves you wanting more with each chapter. It’s so thoughtfully written and it highlights the real changes that come with climate impacts and a fractured society. I hope there is a sequel in the near future!
