This book was so good! It's not my favorite book by Gracie but it's still a great book! It you're looking for a paranormal, ghost/demon, mystery type of romance definitely check out this book! Who doesn't want to be best friends with an 1800 year old ghost who is obsessed with 80s music?!

Josephine is an empath with the ability to see and speak to ghosts. She had become obsessed with ghosts after she read her grandma's journals, who also had an obsession with them. She gets into a bind after she becomes the target of some darker entities, but is then taken under the protection of a demon ghost "Stray", Nico, who has an obsession with her. Nico has always been familiar to Josephine as she has dreamed about him for so long. With all the dangers coming after Josephine, Nico must keep her safe and protect her at all costs, then maybe they can find a happy ever after.

This was such a unique story! I really enjoyed the adventures of Josephine and Nico. His possessiveness and determination to keep her safe were admirable given the circumstances where they had to travel to. I really enjoyed the other characters as well and hope Roman gets his own spin-off story! I would definitely read another book in this (after)world of unliving Gracie Cooper brought to life.

Echoes of the Rose by Gracie Cooper was such a great book. When I read the blurb I couldn’t wait to get my hands/eyes on this. It’s a quick read under 200 pages but don’t let the length fool you. This had everything I could have wanted from this paranormal romance. I think this may have taken over my favorite spot in the books this author has written. This was the perfect combo of drama and humor. It was heartbreaking yet touching. Plus I always love reading a book that features a curvy female lead. I loved Josephine and Nico so much, the chemistry and heat between them was fabulous. I enjoyed reading how much Nico adored her and how this unlikely romance developed. There was such a great balance in this book I couldn’t stop reading. I was genuinely surprised when I reached the ending because I flew through reading it. The book was beautifully written with amazing characters and such an interesting and engaging plot. I loved everything about it. I urge you to not only check out this book but also anything else Gracie Cooper has written… the books are wonderful.

The perfect summerween read!

Im an autumn/halloween girlie till the day I die, and Gracie so effortlessly captures this time of year in this paranormal romance. As with all fmc that this author writes, it was super easy to connect to Josephine and root for her, she's a little bit of me, especially with her ghost obsession. Can we please take a second for Nico, if there was a ghost I would date it would be him, he's just soooo dreamy.

Get ready to go on an adventure with these two as they battle dark entities and fall in love. I liked that this book had a kind of mystery feel that blended so well with the romance, there's also amazing humour and moments that will have you giggling with tears in your eyes.. This is a quick read that I devoured within hours but don't let that 200 page count fool you because this novel packs a punch.. With amazing pacing and even more amazing characters this is a book id recommend to paranormal romance lovers, halloween/summerween lovers and romance lovers in general as there's something for everyone in this book.

This was SUCH a unique read!

Josephine can communicate with ghosts. When she publishes a paper that arouses suspicion of the demon realm, she is put in grave danger. Thankfully, her live in ghost friends and the half ghost-half demon who has been secretly living with her will protect her with their...afterlives.

Nico has loved and waited for Josephine for centuries. He will stop at nothing to keep her safe. This motley crew travels through hallowed ground, into the demon realm, and through smoke and mirrors on a suspenseful adventure that takes place alongside the romance between these two.

I absolutely adored Nico speaking Spanish to Josephine. He loves her SO much. The epilogue had me sobbing with both grief and joy. If you like some ghosts in your romance, this one is for you!

oh i ate this book U P.

this isn’t my first paranormal romance i’ve ever read but it definitely felt super unique compared to the other books. i was immediately invested by the blurb alone and was not disappointed with the premise + the devotion between Josephine Rose and Nico (Nicolás) !

i could not get enough of just how sweet and absolutely protective Nico was over Josephine and the way he whispered the sweetest things to her in Spanish had me on the F L O O R.

i really enjoyed the mystery aspect of the plot that brought some thriller into the story, i really was invested in all the possible dangers and obstacles these characters went through!

Josephine and Nico were so perfect for each other and the ending was so heartbreakingly wholesome! this was such a phenomenal read and beginning in my Spooktober reads!

This book was a fun story about Josephine Rose Perry, who is a person who writes about ghosts. She can see and interact with ghosts and learned even more about their world when she read her grandmother’s journals. When the demon world catches wind of a human that knows too much, Josephine has to trust a mysterious stranger she feels oddly comfortable with.

I enjoyed this book. It was a very quick read. I read it during Halloween, and it was perfect for that day. The world of ghosts and demons established in this short book was very interesting. I hope the author makes more books in the same world. The plot was fast-paced, and the ending was very sweet. I recommend this book to fans of paranormal romance.

Demons, ghosts, and Ioté… oh my! There are other entities in this short story, but I rather not ruin the surprise for you.

This was both a fun and heart breaking story. You have Josephine and Nico, and while a relationship between the two should not work… it does! Even if there’s a spirit that has the worst timing possible (looking at you Jasper!).

The drama is nail biting and I couldn’t stop reading once I started. And the heat between these two was… *chef’s kiss*.
And the humor! Trust me, it was so fun despite the drama that has you in a chokehold.
This is one story you definitely don’t want to miss. Grab a copy May 25th!

This was literally so cute!! 😭🥰 A paranormal romance with a ✨little bit of spice✨ that was so interesting & kept me intrigued the entire time! Several different paranormal entities (friendly ghost besties, scary soul sucking demons & more) & a unique supernatural magic system.

Josephine can see ghosts & has been researching about the realms, but little does she know she may have dug too deep. She captures the attention of the demon realm and while Nico is assigned to keep tabs on her, he also has his own motives for wanting to be close to her.

So this was my first Gracie book, and it did not disappoint. The blurb and cover totally hooked me. The two main characters, Nicolás and Josephine were phenomenal. I loved how they were written, and their interactions, and I loved that their personalities just leaped off of the page.

This is a great read, super unique, and once you pick it up you will not want to put it down! It has such a unique plot and storyline, along with being a quick read, and every page was enjoyable! Overall I'd definitely read this book again and I would recommend this book! I have received this ARC for an honest review, all thoughts/ opinions above are my own.

I absolutely devoured Echoes of The Rose. I never thought I could have loved a book so much that was willed demons, ghosts, and so many other supernatural entities. The fast that Josephine was a curvy fmc and loved to dress in an older style was the best. Seeing more full figured females being depicted in stories is amazing. Nico was so addicting and his love and devotion to Josephine made me so happy. It's rare for me to read a book in a solid day and this was one of them. I loved every bit of it.

An honest review!! Gracie Cooper has done it again!!!🙂🙂 She has a wonderful way of pulling you in with the wonderful yet a bit wounded characters. This a slow burn Paranormal Romance with a Curvy FMC . Josephine thinks she is alone in this world after the loss of her loved ones. Little does she know Nico is watching from the shadows. What starts as a protection becomes something which cannot be torn apart.🥰🥰

great story, needs edits though

The story was great but I found myself struggling to read due to lack of words, misuse of words, or just stumbling on typos… quite often. The story was so interesting enough that I kept reading but it almost feels like the author did “talk to text” and then skipped editing before publishing.

A lovely unique paranormal romance with a variety of paranormal beings

There were demons, some of whom are deliciously protective 😉 , ghosts with a taste for 80s music, succubi, empaths, etc. etc.
I was completely sucked into this and read it through in only two sittings because it was so fast-paced, but also fun and even steamy (a new venture for GC).
GC writes such a great variety of stories, there is simply no way to decide which one I like best, but this is certainly a contender.
Nico and Josephine are adorable together and well worth a read! And there are some fantastic secondary characters whose stories I want to see too.

I adored this book & its many unique characters. The storyline is also very interesting!

Like Josephine, I also do not speak Spanish but I loved looking up the things that Nico was saying! I actually learned a little bit 😍

Another thing I really loved was the way that the visuals were written. They were so well done that I actually ended up on Pinterest & made a collage (posted on IG)! Highly recommend this book!
