Direct. Simply put. Easy to read.
I bet I could've finished reading this in one setting but there were parts of this book that were so simple yet so true and deep that I wanted to re-read them.
Literally Insightful and moving.
However, I must say, there were huge chunk that mirrored the voice of Dr. Wayne Dyre and resembled his living style, so to speak, and I believe that that is what made me love this book on the spot!!
If you are interested in Law of Attraction or the concept of Your Mind Creat Your Reality and all that what Wayne dyre writes and speaks about, then I am not sure that you should even considering it.

There is an iconic sentence which I am deeply moved by, it reads :
"I didn't know how but all I knew was that my job was to keep believing that it was going to happen and to let the Universe handle the details" 💛

I have read plenty of books on this subject and I have to say that so far this is the best one. This book doesn't just sit back and and tell you what to think and see and say but it actually helps you to set goals, long term life goals.

I finished this book and two others and this is the one that stuck with me. This one made me excited to get started on my new life.

A short audiobook I just finished on YouTube.

I think this was a well put together book of creative visualization and the idea that affirmative thinking combined with action and belief will achieve your goals, no matter what they may be.

I had heard most of the ideas in this book before, but I hadn’t heard of the idea of Vision Books and Vision Boards. I think I may want to experiment myself and see how this combined with the meditation and affirmation techniques can help me to reshape my life and outlook.

I do feel a peace at having read this book. Its message rings true.

It is the best book I have read so far this year after the Deep Work by Cal Newport.
The author outlines the following main strategies to "insert" into our life:

1. HAVE CLEAR GOALS
Create a list of goals that you'd like to achieve in your lifetime

- Think about those goals that matter the most

- Make sure that they are VERY ambitious
(that if you achieve them you need to feel like you're daydreaming, so they must be so big for you to achieve in your current state). At this point, don't worry HOW you're going to get to them, just list out all your goals as if EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD was possible, EVERYTHING!)

- The possible areas to categorize your goals are career, business, family/relationships, faith/spirituality, fitness/health, charity goals, and financial possessions.

- Your goals should be in the following format: what, why and the feeling you feel when you achieve it. Visualize your goals like it's the movie of your life and visualize yourself doing it/have achieved it.

- Grab a notebook and create your VISION Board/Book. Put your goals there and create pictures/add powerful verses from your Holy Book in there. Have HUGE dreams with deadlines in your vision board/book. Use Present Tense: I am a very proficient software developer, I am a great communicator, I have a great husband, I am an intelligent investor (in the affirmation style)

2. VISUALIZE
Once you are clear about your CRAZY Goals, then start visualizing them one by one in the morning

- 1 hour of Morning Power Time - after the physical exercises in the early morning set aside your 1 hour for gratitude and the visualization of your crazy goals.

As part of your morning routine, using active visualization create a life you want to build in your MIND, visualize it - FEEL how it feels. While visualizing, create that feeling that it has come true, it's not your job to visualize how it happened, but visualize that it has come true and it's a part of your life now (create such affirmations for each of your goals that you get to repeat/visualize EVERY SINGLE MORNING.

- Feel it as it's part of your identity. Close your eyes and visualize as if you already are that type of person you're aiming to become/the goal you're aiming to have/to do. It's important that you FEEL how it feels to achieve that goal or to be that person who has already achieved it.

3. THOUGHTS.
Watch out for your thoughts on everything - especially about yourself.

- Think of your thoughts as if they are automatic online orders - once you have that thought you'll automatically receive your order whether it's a negative thought or a positive one, so make sure that your thoughts are UPLIFTING.

4. GRATITUDE
Practice gratitude.

- Act if you already are the type of person that you want to become

- List out your future goals and feel grateful that you already are that person.
e.g. you want to lose weight you need to be so grateful for BEING Slim and fit (as you already are, because no matter how much you weigh you're gonna still be slimmer than so many people in the world)

**********
Re-read it in March of 2024.
**********

What should you be thinking more of?
- You should be thinking of what you want in life and not worrying about what you don’t want.

What you think about and focus on is going to show up. So you would want to make sure that what you’re thinking about is what you want to manifest in your life.

The best thoughts we should be having are the ones that give us the feeling of gratitude.

You don’t need to know how the miracle will manifest, all you need to do is believe that it will.

Ask and you will be given. Ask, believe, and receive.

This book has all the practical applications of the law of attraction which makes the whole concept feel more realistic and achievable. It doesn't only guide like other books on the same topic, preaching what to do, it shows how it has been done in a single person's life. The miracles that have happened, solution to real problems is life, all are tackled together.

This won't be supplying anything you already haven't read or heard from the numerous self-help books...in fact you may find it boring because this rehashes the same old (placed in a new cover) mantra.
That said, like all it predecessors and successors, there are quite a couple of advices or actions that if put into use will certainly enable one to be a better version of oneself

I don't have dreams, I have goals. I changed my mindset 4 years ago and that has changed my life totally. I got into manifestation, meditation and self growth books that helped me discover my power. This one combined all that in one place. Although the author was describing his experience and how he learned that from someone else, I enjoyed listening the stories and realizing that it can be real.

I've already tried some of the techniques. And let me tell you something: If you don't want to stuck in one place complaining each day that nothing works out; read this.

Should have done this when becoming an adult, but it's never too late to get your sh**t together in life and make everything work out as you wanted. Period

I listened to the audiobook rather than reading it. I’ve read many self-helps books and I must say that this was one has definitely been one of the best ones. The first half of the book is about the author’s life and how he went from 100 to 0 and pulled himself back to 100 again. The second half of the book is about “how”.

What I liked about this book is that 1) it’s quite short, so you don’t want to throw it out of the window half way through because you’re getting bored of reading the same things that you’ve read in other books and 2) it’s bang on point without any repetitions.

It’s a very simple yet insightful book and it’s one that I’ll be listening to/read again and definitely practice what the author has stated. I was in a bad place when I started listening to the audiobook, however, this book gave me great hope. Not only because I do believe in the law of attraction and positive affirmations, but because I heard what the author had gone through and experiences and what he did to overcome all his problems and pull himself back up again.

Definitely recommend this book!

A practical book, offers a selection of techniques for aching goals and manifesting desires in a simple and easy to understand language, clarified through examples, although sometimes there is an overload of unnecessary information. The author seems to be on the religious side but the religious stuff can easily be ignored without having an effect on the reading experience.

Another amazing book I read in my life, So much simple, interesting, and understandable, The author teach us to set a goal, belief it already exists, and achieves with the feelings. Feel that you already manifested your goals, half of the book is about of author and his life experience and the rest are about the techniques which is significant to be co-creator of your goals.
Essential examples have been mentions for the understanding of life !!
worth to read :)
I love these lines of this book that - "You are working with the universe with infinite possibilities and
resources, you are not in a world with lack or limited resources"

I found this on youtube on YouAreCreators2's channel ( Title : This book will change your life ) . Its hardly of 2 hours must go through it once . It talks about power of WRITING DOWN YOUR DREAMS TO MAKE IT REALITY , AVOIDING SELF NEGATIVE TALKS , HOW UNIVERSE WILL MAKE THINGS HAPPENS TO YOU , POWER OF VISUALISATION etc , everything supported by real life achievements. It tells about how he went from being broken to being rich man with all his dreams come true . I highly recommend to go through atleast audiobook once.

A book stating very clear views on the topic of visualization of your dreams and working as a co-creator to have them manifest in your life. The author has given real examples from his life itself. It's a cozy little read for people who do believe in this concept, but definitely not for the ones who are too realist. Beautiful read.

"3 not-so-simple questions, ask yourself-

What would I be if there was nothing that I could not be?
What would I do if there was nothing that I could not do?
What would I have if there was nothing that I could not have?

The answers to these questions will tell you what you really should be doing with your life."

I listened to this audiobook and I found it inspiring. The story that Pete takes us through of his life made me relate with the things that were important in my life and what I want to create for myself. What I took from this book was spending more intentional time visualizing and goal setting, then releasing it to the universe for creation - all the while being grateful for what is and consciously giving back gratitude as a means to fuel the positive drive. I felt this book a lot and the energy that Pete spoke of during his personal story sent the same energetic vibrations through my body as I listened to his story. There is pure love and joy behind his story.

A very succinct read highlighting the benefits of visualization. At times I found it a bit far-fetched and nonsensical to be honest but it was definetly a worthy read. The entire book can be surmized by this one sentence

"When you make the commitment and take action, The Universe will bend over backwards to help you achieve your goals".

However, Still a good read if you want to understand how to visualize but just not to go overboard with the fairy tale story depicted here about the power of visualizations.

Happy Reading!!!

Once religiosity is applied in the book's narrative and assertions it loses any scientific credibility making the theories and guidance simply interesting but probably not that useful. Over the past 20 years, we have exponentially expanded our knowledge foundation of the brain in a thousand different ways - and these older self-help wisdom books are pretty much archaic and misleading as they predate this information explosion. But still, these books are interesting from a historical and anthropological perspective.
