His Inspiration: The Hook

Rate this book
Matt is a freelance writer who pens ‘geek’ articles for tech magazines and websites. In his spare time he also writes hotwife fiction. His side line may not pay the bills, but it’s a lot more fun than writing about computer software and video games.
One evening, his wife Danielle goes out with girlfriends. When she gets home she has a tale of her own to tell. At first he assumes it’s exactly that – a tale. However, the evidence suggests otherwise. The combination of gut-punch and arousal he experiences helps him to understand exactly how some of his fictional cuckolded characters must feel.
When Matt and Danielle discuss her behaviour and his reaction to it, they find themselves embarking on a wild ride that not only mirrors some of his written fiction, it inspires his next book.

A very different take from Delores Swallows. The book outline covers the story well. What’s unsaid is the husband and wife are on the same page and greatly enjoy the escapades.

This is a Vixen Stag story rather than a hotwife story.

There’s no cliffhanger or humiliation here. Although there is lots of scope for further stories, particularly: what made Danielle decide to start the ball rolling and what’s Cara’s story? Inquiring minds want to know.

This book is very well written and edited. I do wish we understood Danielle’s motivation better. Plus, the relationship ran very smoothly without a hiccup; I’d prefer to see the couple struggle a little more.

Matt had never entertained the idea of becoming a cuckold until wife Danielle comes home from clubbing with girlfriends and shows him irrefutable evidence that she had been with another man. The mix of angst and lust that fill him lead to the hottest sex he and Danielle have had in years. Not only is he not mad, he wants more.

Delores Swallows has penned a fascinating story of an erotic writer who gets to experience the fantasies he’s only dreamed of and then uses them as the basis for his next books. This isn’t a story where everyone’s onboard and gung ho with hotwifing from page one. We get to see this couple explore and react as they delve into this new lifestyle which, for me, is a more satisfying story. I would rate the cuckold angst as mild to moderate and there’s no humiliation. Both perfect in my book.

The arc of the story and character development are solid, the spice is ghost pepper hot, and the ending satisfies while begging a sequel. Please let there be a sequel.

Highly recommended.

This well written story kept getting hotter as it progressed. There were a couple of small challenges to read at the start (how Danielle introduces Matt into the lifestyle) but you will enjoy the loving couple's trust in each other as they move from timid and reluctant to confident and excited. I have no idea where Danielle and Matt will go from here but I am ready to read about it.
