I feel with the Marvel movies the theme of the Multiverse is now a common phrase and an even more common theme in writing. That is true in this comic book. I feel like in the newspaper series, tv shows, movies, and novels the 3rd string characters lived. In this comic, characters are dying left and right. It is not something I hate, I just like continuity in my long-lived IP's. The artwork by Geraldo Borges is pretty crisp.

There's no letdown in the 2nd issue of the ongoing Dick Tracy series.

Alex Segura keeps the adrenaline-fueled storytelling going full tilt and the art continues to be superb. If this keeps up, this new Dick Tracy series could turn out to be my favorite new comic book series of 2024.

4.5 stars, easily. I'm loving this comic so far. The gangster era vibe, the solid art and colors, the language, all of it. Terrific. Can't wait for the next issue.
