About the

Jock Blocked
is a home run of a feel-good romantic comedy featuring the world’s most superstitious sports fan, baseball’s oldest virgin hero, a rogue meatball, an adorable puppy with a cussing problem, and a happily ever after more satisfying than a game-winning grand slam.

Real Fake Love is a line drive straight to the heart featuring a grumpy athlete, a jilted bride, a fake relationship, and the world’s laziest cat. It stands alone and comes complete with sibling rivalry, the world’s most awkward shower scene, and a sweetly satisfying happily ever after.

It stands alone and comes complete with small-town shenanigans, a goat who’s not nearly as wise as his name suggests, and proof that sometimes, love is the best kind of vengeance.

Irresistible Trouble is a hilarious grand slam of a romcom about a baseball player whose ego is catching up to him, a pop star who’s a bit of a hot mess when the cameras aren’t looking (and sometimes when they are), and the kind of family and teammates that everyone deserves… in small doses.

Have Yourself a Grumpy Little Christmas is a hit of holiday sweetness featuring a grumpy retired baseball pitcher who hates the holidays, his best friend's little sister, and a Christmas tree mishap.

Today, she has more than 30 knee-slapping Pippa Grant titles and nine published under the name Jamie Farrell.

When she’s not writing romantic comedies, she’s fumbling through being a mom, wife, and mountain woman, and sometimes tries to find hobbies. Her crowning achievement? Having impeccable timing for telling stories that will make people snort beverages out of their noses. Consider yourself warned.

The very first time I attempted to read Pippa Grant was back in January 2018 and it did not go well. I didn’t think her style and voice was for me, so I moved on. BUT THEN (lol) I wasn’t paying attention to the who of it all and listened to the audiobook of The One Who Loves You and HOLY BALLS, I haven’t looked back since! So clearly, my first encounter was totally a wrong time to be reading this book and I should have just walked away and come to it later. Water under the bridge now …

This series is absolutely fabulous!! From the first book to the last, I had a huge smile on my face. I’ve only been able to listen to two of them but I cannot wait to get this boxset in audio pronto!

JOCKED BLOCKED – 4.5 STARS – lighthearted and humorous with a unique twist to the virgin trope!

REAL FAKE LOVE – 4.5 STARS – fun, flirty and little bit quirky!

THE GRUMPY PLAYER NEXT DOOR – 4.5 STARS – crazy and hilarious with a whole lot of shenanigans!

IRRESISTIBLE TROUBLE – 5 STARS – outrageously FUN and the best of the series!! I laughed and I cried, and I think I may have laughed while I cried sometimes!

HAVE YOURSELF A GRUMPY LITTLE CHRISTMAS (novella) – 5 STARS – cuteness overload LOL that’s all that needs to be said!

This baseball romcom series has 4 books and a novella.
With this bundle, the author gives us 1500 pages of hilarious banter between the members of the worst baseball team in history determined to win this time and the women they fall in love with.
It could have been a bit repetitive, but it really wasn't thanks to well developed characters ( Henri is my favorite !) and different tropes (Virgin Hero, fake relationship, teammate sister, grumpy/sunshine, second chance, grinch at Christmas).
There are some things that will stay in my brain forever (the cursing collar, the shower scene, the goat).
If you want hours of laughing out load shenanigans, that book is for you !

Book 1 - FINALLY we get the fireballs biggest fan’s love story and boy did it deliver !

Mackenzie Montana may be a super smart trash engineer but her first job title is Copper Valley Fireballs biggest fan . And with being the biggest fan means having endless superstitions about every player and detail of the team .. including stealing one of the new mascots they have in the running to replace the old mascot and cock blocking Brooks Elliott because he must stay a virgin if it means the team will continue to win games . Brooks just wants to finally give it up after being to picky in his thirty years of waiting but once he sets his sights on crazy Mackenzie he knows he is done for . These two are absolutely hilarious and described perfectly from one line of this book: “I’m a hot mess . No, you’re a spicy taco with extra guacamole .” Truly loved this one just like so many of Pippa’s books <3

Book 2 - This is my second favorite Pippa book ever !!

As always her first chapter started out which an incredible bang and a ton of laughs because our FMC Henrietta aka Henry, was being left on her wedding day because the groom to be was in love with an older woman .. and that older women is out MMC Luca Rossi’s mom . Flash forward to even more laughs and a whole lot of fake dating between our paranormal romance writer Henry with her costume wearing cat, and of corse our professional baseball player for the Copper Valley Fireballs Luca with all of the craziness his tiktok famous grandma brings to the mix . These two had the best banter, the funniest fake sex, and the most incredible build up from fake to real !

Book 3 - 4.5 very grumpy MMC stars !!

Max Cole, pitcher for the Copper Valley Fireballs, didn’t mean to get caught up in the antics that is the epic prank war between his teammate Copper and his little sister Tillie-Jean Rock .. but one glitter bomb gone wrong and it’s game on . And after four years of pretending to be the biggest grump in the world so that Tillie-Jean didn’t know he has feelings for her, the two of them finally decide that it is so worth giving into . Not only is this probably one of the funniest Pippa books because there is always some type of prank going on, but there is also a great mental help rep of anxiety and panic attacks that Max deals with . It was also such a treat to have everyone back in Shipwreck while they are training during the off season .

Book 4 - 4.5 fireball stars !!

Copper Rock has been a side character in almost every single book of Pippa’s so far - so to finally have his story feels like we are closing a chapter on the fireballs in the best way possible with Waverly .

Eight years ago the up and coming pop star Waverly and the Copper Valley Fireballs rookie Copper Rock had an incredible but short lived fling because of an overbearing manager that broke them up . Now they are back together, dating in secret to have some privacy from the paparazzi, but their crazy schedules and meddling families keep making their lives difficult . There may be less pranks than normal for Copper but that is more than made up for by how much love he has in his heart and finally seeing the Fireballs get everything they deserve !

This audiobook series was given to me for honest review by the author .

Four main novels and 1 novella. I didn't like them all to the same degree, but I did enjoy them and they filled in some blanks, since I've read the Giirl Band series, the Hockey/Thrusters series, and a few others at random.
This collection gives us Brooks (Parker's brother) and Mackenzie, Luca and Henri, Max and Tillie Jean/TJ and lots of time in Shipwreck with goats and that 🤬🦜, Cooper and Waverly, and Trevor and Meg and their crazy 🎄

~Jock Blocked
I am so in love with this quirky, hilarious, heartfelt, and steamy romance! Mackenzie comes from an unconventional background and is a crazy supporter of her beloved home team. She will do anything to help them win. Brooks has been traded to the Copper Valley Fireballs and isn't happy about it at first. He has always thought if he stayed a virgin he would be able to play good baseball. But now he is determined to break the rule. Mackenzie will do anything to help her team win, including stopping Brooks from losing his virginity. Brooks and Mackenzie did not start off liking each other at first. But what happens when their chemistry heats up and it's her he wants? I loved these fun and crazy baseball fans, the quirky mascots, and the superstitious and sexy players who had me laughing out loud, swooning, and cheering for my favorite new team!
Andi Arndt, and Jacob Morgan did a great job narrating this delightful romcom and bringing it to life. They easily brought out all the different quirky personalities, nailing these characters, and making me feel all the fun, awkward, emotional, and steamy moments. I loved this feel-good romantic comedy and can't wait for more from the Copper Valley Fireballs!

~Real Fake Love
I absolutely loved this hilarious, and heartfelt, fake relationship romance! This slow burn, rom-com is filled with quirky characters, witty banter, awkward and hilarious situations, and a sweet and sexy storyline with lots of heart. Luca Rossi may seem grumpy on the outside, but this sexy ball player is so sweet and has a heart of gold. Henrietta (Henri) Bacon, is quirky, sunny, and in love with love. They are total opposites and their first meet cute is so awkward and hilarious. They are both in situations that they could use some help with. So they agree to a secret, short term 'fake relationship' to help. What could go wrong when meddling family members, a lazy cat, and smoking hot attraction get in the way? This story was so hilarious, sweet, and wonderfully entertaining.
Virginia Rose, and Jason Clarke were amazing at bringing this story and these characters to life, making me laugh, swoon and cheer for Luca and Henri to have their HEA.
I had fun listening to this fast paced, exciting, hilarious, and steamy story to life!

~The Grumpy Player Next Door
I had so much fun listening to this enemies to lovers romcom! I love watching hate turn into love as Max and Tillie Jean flirt and banter, only to realize that maybe they never really hated each other after all! The opening scene was so hilarious when Max was unintentionally on the receiving end of some sibling games between Tillie Jean and her brother Cooper, and it only causes the tension between them to grow. Max suffers from anxiety and is grateful to Cooper for helping him after an embarrassing incident. He doesn't want to act on his attraction to Tillie Jean and risk his friendship with Cooper. It is easier to count the ways he hates her, even if she is sweet, kind, helpful, and everything he isn't worthy to have. Tillie Jean flirts with all the ball players mostly to mess with her brothers. But she sees past her grumpy, sexy neighbor's façade to his tender, heart of gold. He gives her what no-one else has, and that is the courage to get out of her comfort zone and find her passion. These opposites, from grumpy to sunshine, are so perfect for each other. I loved their push/pull relationship, and had fun cheering for their HEA!
Savannah Peachwood, and Wen Ross did a great job bringing this story to life. They portray each quirky character with a perfect balance between fun & flirty, heartbreaking emotion, and sizzling passion flawlessly. This was such a fun listen as I laughed out loud, more than once, at their witty banter and awkward situations, helping to make this hilarious, heartfelt, and sweet & steamy romance really sparkle!

~Irresistible Trouble
I absolutely loved this hilarious, sweet, and heartfelt second chance romance! Irresistible Trouble is a spellbinding listen that will have you roaring with laughter and a permanent smile etched on your face. I was so excited for Cooper's story and it was everything and so much more! Cooper and Waverly fell fast and hard for each other before they both made it big. When Waverly never heard from him again, she was heartbroken. Now years later they are both at the top of their careers when they meet again, and the chemistry is hotter than ever. They work through the misunderstandings, and want to find a way to be together. Cooper has a player reputation but wants to be a better man, and prove he is worthy to win Waverly's heart. But with demanding careers, busy schedules, meddling family and friends, and paparazzi, watching their every move, will they find the courage to fight for love and finally find a way to be together? I fell so hard for these two star-crossed lovers who sacrificed so much for others at the expense of their own love and happily-ever-after. Cooper was so much more than the carefree player he appeared to be. He was so thoughtful, generous and caring. The way he worked so hard to prove he was the only man for Waverly was so romantic and swoony, he definitely made my heart skip a beat. My heart also broke for Waverly as she struggled to make her only family proud, at the expense of her own health, but Coopers family more than made up for what she needed. She and Cooper were perfect together, both wanting to make their fans happy, wanting loving and supportive family, and the thrill of the prank! This slow burn, rom-com is filled with witty banter, awkward and hilarious situations, and a sweet and sexy storyline with lots of heart. I love so many of Grant’s romance books because she’s not only a talented writer but pens amazing and quirky characters that I can’t help but fall for and wish I could meet in real life.
Mackenzie Cartwright, Connor Crais were brilliant as Waverly, and Cooper, delivering a performance that was completely addictive. They portray each character with a perfect balance between fun & flirty, heartbreaking emotion, and sizzling passion flawlessly. I was really impressed with Crais' ability to make me swoon one minute, then making me laugh the next. Cartwright was amazing at bringing out the worry that Waverly struggled with, pulling at my heartstrings. This was such a fun listen as I laughed out loud, more than once, at their hilarious banter and awkward situations. I have loved this series and don't want it to end, but it wrapped up so beautifully and made me completely happy.

~Have Yourself a Grumpy Little Christmas
This bonus novella was a fun addition to the Copper Valley Fireballs series. It is about how two opposites find each other and change their lives forever. Trevor has wanted Meg for a long time but she is his best friend’s sister, and off limits. But Meg is determined to change Trevor's mind about Christmas and her. Emma Wilder and Teddy Hamilton did a great job bringing this delightful and sizzling story to life.

The Copper Valley Fireballs Complete Series by Pippa Grant is a sports romcom series that follows members of the Fireballs pro baseball team on their journeys to find love. This fantastic and funny collection includes four full books and one novella. Each story is reviewed and rated individually below (using shortened versions of my previous reviews). The novella, Have Yourself a Grumpy Little Christmas, is the only story in the box set that I hadn't already read and reviewed before now.

Jock Blocked is a contemporary, enemies to lovers, virgin hero, sports romantic comedy told in first person, dual POV. It follows the relationship between Brooks Elliot, a superstitious baseball player on a mission to lose his V-card, and Mackenzie Montana, an equally superstitious superfan who will do anything to help her team win—even preserve Brooks's virginity by blocking all his attempts to lose it

I loved Brooks and Mackenzie's story! They were both such loveable characters - quirky, awkward, and kind-hearted. The two of them together were the cutest pair and a perfect match. This book was so much fun! With baseball players, superstitions, pranks, mascots, puppies, the talking collar, drag queens, and Parker's phone, it delivered lots of laughs. Adorkably sweet and full of hilarious hijinks, I highly recommend it! (5 Stars)

Real Fake Love is a contemporary, fake relationship, sports romantic comedy told in first person, dual POV, featuring a grumpy hero and a sunshiny heroine. It follows the relationship between Henrietta Bacon, a romance novelist who wants to learn how to not fall in love, and Luca Rossi, a professional baseball player who doesn’t believe in love and needs a fake girlfriend to keep his meddling grandmother off his back. Naturally, they decide to help each other out.

I loved Henri and Luca's story! As characters, they were well-developed, relatable, and lovably flawed. Henri is a hot mess. She's also smart, kindhearted, and brimming with positivity. Luca is grouchy, sarcastic, and pessimistic, but underneath his gruff exterior is a huge heart. I loved these two together. As opposites, they were well-matched, bringing the best out of each other. This book had me laughing out loud in the first chapter, and in several other places throughout the story. It was fun to see so many familiar characters and to meet some new ones too - especially TikTok Nonna and Dogzilla. Quirky, hilarious, sexy, and sweet. I highly recommend it. (5 Stars)

The Grumpy Player Next Door is a slow-burn, contemporary, enemies-to-lovers, sports romantic comedy told in first person, dual POV, featuring a grumpy hero and a sunshiny heroine. It follows the relationship between Copper Valley Fireballs pitcher Max Cole and his teammate’s sister Tillie Jean Rock, his neighbor during the off-season. When Max gets caught in the middle of a prank war between the Rock siblings, it sets off a chain of events that keeps him and Tillie Jean in each other’s orbit.

I loved Tillie Jean and Max’s story! They were well-developed, relatably-flawed characters. Tillie Jean is fun, creative, and kind. Max is career-focused, grouchy, and standoffish - at least to Tillie Jean he is. They have fantastic chemistry and exchange hilarious banter. I enjoyed seeing Max fight his attraction as Tillie Jean tortured him with her relentless flirting and loved it when he eventually gave in. There were parts of this book that had me laughing out loud, which was exactly what I needed. I read it in one sitting. I loved being back in Shipwreck, and catching up with characters from previous books. This story is filled with the usual Pippa shenanigans, quirky characters, zany situations, and animal hijinks blended with genuine, heartfelt moments, and it has made it onto my list of Pippa favorites. This warm, feel-good story is highly recommended to anyone who needs a good laugh. (5 Stars)

Irresistible Trouble is a contemporary second-chance sports romcom told in first person, dual POV. It follows the relationship between professional baseball player Cooper Rock and world-famous pop star Waverly Sweet.

I loved Waverly and Cooper’s story! I’ve been a Cooper fan for years, so I was excited that he was finally getting his own story. Irresistible Trouble did not disappoint; it was definitely worth the wait. Cooper is such a big personality, bringing over-the-top humor and fun wherever he goes, and he meets his match in Waverly, a kindhearted and surprisingly down-to-earth internationally famous pop star. I love them both so much! Wooperly might be my new favorite couple in the Pippaverse. This story was so much fun that it kept me smiling from ear to ear. Irresistible Trouble is sweet, sexy, funny, and has all the feels. Highly recommended! (5 Stars)

Have Yourself a Grumpy Little Christmas is a contemporary grumpy/sunshine holiday novella. The story follows the relationship between Trevor Stafford, a grumpy retired baseball pitcher who hates the holidays, and his temporary roommate, Meg O’Connell, his best friend's Christmas-loving little sister. A quick read that’s both festive and fun. (4.5 Stars)

This is probably my favorite baseball series ever.
#1- Jock Blocked
There is humor, heat, cameos from other favorite Pippa characters, and baseball love. The story is well-written, and the characters are developed with flaws and feelings that make them realistic.
Mackenzie is a serious baseball fan and a good person with an interesting background. Brooks is a good guy who is a little lost. He needs to come to grips with changes to his life that he did not choose. What he ultimately really needs is Mackenzie, and I was so happy to read their story. The book continues the mascot competition for the Fireballs that began in “Liar, Liar, Hearts on Fire.” The shenanigans involved in that lead to a lot of laughs. The love of baseball and the way a team becomes a family are big parts of this story. The general grief the players give each other, the pranks, and the support are all very realistic to the sport. The love of the game and keeping that love alive are important to this story.
It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV.

#2- Real Fake Love
Luca is playing his first season with the Copper Valley Fireballs when his Nonna decides to get involved in his love life. I love how cranky Luca is in the beginning and I loved the tender care he takes of Henri as he learns that he can love as long as that means loving Henri. I love that they build a friendship and understanding of each other: both the good and the bad.
Henri has a history of failed engagements and a tendency to be a bit of a mess. What I love about Henri is her sunny, kind personality and her never-failing optimism. She is an extremely caring person, even though she has been hurt repeatedly. I adore the good she puts out into the world and the way that good energy comes back to her. She is impossible not to love completely chaos and all. I love the message that we are all lovable even if we don’t quite fit the expectation of “normal.”
I love reading about the Fireballs as a team as they progress through their season. The way the team has bonded into a family is perfect. The setting of Copper Valley s perfect and special cameos by characters and settings from other books by this author are cool Easter eggs that I really enjoyed.
This story has twists, laughter, romance, and plenty of heat. (I laughed out loud repeatedly while reading this book. My hubby just grinned at me from his chair.) It is written in first person from a dual POV.

#3- The grumpy Player Next door
Max and Tillie Jean’s story was a laugh out loud bright spot in my week. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV.
I have loved meeting Max in previous books, and I really enjoyed getting to know him better. He is a man who had a rough childhood with his only constant being baseball. I love his drive to succeed and his love of the game. The author did an amazing job making sure I understood his struggles. He has been a player, but deep down, he does not believe he deserves to be loved and that melted me. TJ is hilarious. I love her enthusiasm and her fire. She is another character I really enjoyed getting to know on a deeper level. I love her relationships with her family, especially her brothers. I really appreciated the friendship she and Max eventually form. In the black moment, I felt her heartache.
This book made me literally laugh out loud many times. It also moved me as TJ and Max both open to each other and the possibilities around them. I love the small town of Shipwreck and the antics that go on. There are some epic pranks in this book. I love the banter, the fun, the family (born and found), and the support the characters give to each other. Max and TJ have plenty of heat between them to steam up the page, while connecting on a level neither one of them really expected. It was a thoroughly enjoyable read that I absolutely loved and will be a book I read more than once.

#4- Irresistible Trouble
Book four in the Copper Valley Fireballs series can be read as a standalone and ends with a HEA. That said, Cooper, our hero, does appear in several previous books by this author and I personally always love knowing all the backstory. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV.
Cooper Rock. He gave this author fits, but she finally managed to drag his story out of him, and it was fantastic. I was a little irritated with him in the beginning of this book. I have always loved him. Getting to know his weaknesses was enlightening. Ultimately, he reconnects with pop star Waverly Sweet and gets knocked completely on his backside. It was completely enjoyable to read as he figures out how he can pursue someone so obviously out of his league.
Waverly was a real sweetheart. She has spent a long time in the music business and is at the top of her game. She has a little drama within her team, and she is utterly exhausted by her life. I really appreciated how real she was and how human. I loved her and she is certainly one of my favorite heroines now.
Their romance has plenty of heat. They support each other emotionally and support each other’s dreams. Their emotional connection as they work their long-distance relationship was wonderful to read. Waverly is perfect for Cooper, and he grows enough to become perfect for her. This was a wonderful read, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Audio Review

This collection has over 38 hours of fantastic characters and a multitude of narrators bringing them all to life. I previously listened to these books, and the following are my reviews on each. There is a bonus to this collection with a novella of Have Yourself A Grumpy Little Christmas that was great as well.

JOCK BLOCKED - 5 stars
This book is so funny and sweet and a little over the top with the crazy but it is one of my favorites from this author. We have Brooks Elliott and he has been traded to the Copper Valley Fireballs and their biggest fan and most superstitious one at that, Mackenzie Montana, has decided in order for her team to win then Brooks has to remain a virgin. It is her life's mission to see that that happens until she gets to know Brooks then all bets are off and it is game on.

This book has great characters that are new to us and old characters that we all love. The puppy, Cocoa Puff, is a hilarious bonus for this book. So funny. I loved how the author added some out-of-the-norm family life for both characters because we all have a little crazy or different in our lives and it was great to see that. I loved Mackenzie's dedication to a team she loves no matter if they win or lose. I loved how Brooks learned to love the game and his new team and to find his perfect match. Fantastic listen.

Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan are perfect for this book. I loved listening to both of them from beginning to end. They brought their A-game and hit a home run, pun intended.

REAL FAKE LOVE - 5 stars
Luca Rossi, aka the committed bachelor who does not believe in love. Luca is one of our beloved baseball players and he is focused on the game. Henrietta Bacon who bless her, is on fiancé number 5 and she knows love is real even though it has slapped her in the face several times. She is a forever romantic who writes paranormal romance so even though she has failed at love she still loves life and will live it to the fullest. When Luca's grandmother, Nonna, decides he needs to settle down and gives him "the eye" he enlists Henri's help to keep Nonna off his back until the season is over. What he didn't plan on was actually getting to know Henri and falling in love with her and all her crazy and even her cat Dogzilla.

So much fun and a great build-up to their love. The characters are all great and it kept me laughing.

Virginia Rose as Henri was the perfect casting. She brought out her crazy and I loved listening to her. Jason Clarke of course was a perfect Luca. The sexy and broody man was brought to life with Jason's wonderful voice.

THE GRUMPY PLAYER NEXT DOOR - 5 stars
What a fun book with lots of pranks, plenty of glitter, and Max Cole and his growly bear hot self trying and failing to resist Tillie Jean Rock.

Tillie Jean is a hot mess and trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Mainly she wants to resist Max Cole but when a prank turns wrong things just seem to move the way fate wants them to and TJ and Max are destined to be together despite what Cooper Rock or anyone else thinks about that.

I loved that we see a vulnerable side of Max. We understand what is behind his growly bear self and the fact he has been fighting his attraction to TJ for four years. I loved that Tillie Jean is a strong woman and stands and fights for what she wants. Great story and of course great side characters. Shipwreck is full of crazy loveable people and we get to visit with them all including the foul-mouthed parrot and the crazy goat.

Savannah Peachwood and Wen Ross are perfect for these two characters. Savannah can always bring on the quirky that was needed for Tillie Jean and Wen definitely has that growly voice for Max. Loved listening to them.

IRRESISTIBLE TROUBLE - 5 stars
The wait for Cooper Rock was well worth it. This book has it all. Second chance romance, drama, lots and lots of humor, funny text messages, a crazy cat, all of Cooper's family that we all love, and a romance that was eight years in the making.

Waverly Sweet is famous and she has everything she wants except the love of her life. The one that got away so many years ago still haunts her. Cooper Rock is the Fireballs hero and playboy extraordinaire but unlike his family, he hasn't found that special person to complete him. When Waverly and Cooper see one another again all those feelings come back to the surface and they both want a second chance. Obstacles get in their way, or one intruding aunt does anyway, but they finally get to their HEA.

Mackenzie Cartwright and Connor Crais were both fantastic in narrating this book. Loved listening to them both from start to finish and I highly recommend this book.

HAVE YOURSELF A GRUMPY LITTLE CHRISTMAS - 5 stars
Meg and Trevor's story was a short and hot Christmas miracle. Meg brings happiness back to Trevor and makes Christmas a holiday to love. They are so cute and the chemistry is smokin'. Loved their story.

Teddy Hamilton and Emma Wilder bring Trevor and Meg to life and tell their cute story.

This is a great collection with lots of fun characters.

The Copper Valley Fireballs Complete Series by Pippa Grant
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a wonderful series! You’ll love the Copper Valley Fireballs! It’s
Even more wonderful since you can read all the books one after another. Each book
Is a 5 star read in itself, but together it’s 100 stars! 💯⭐️

Jock Blocked
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I don’t understand baseball, but Jock Blocked made me want to learn about baseball. 😊⚾️

Brooks is so adorable! He and Mackenzie are perfect for each other! Their crazies complement each other. Add in the cute trash-talking Coco Puff, and you have another Pippa Grant winner. 🏆

How can you not love Brooks Elliott when he says things like, “You’re a spicy taco with extra guacamole.” and “You’re Nutella-covered bacon on a baked chicken breast world”. Isn’t he the sweetest?

Pippa hit it out of the park with Jock Blocked! ( see, I’m learning baseball 😉)

Real Fake Love
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love Luca & Henri! I love everything about “ Real Fake Love”, and here are some highlights:
1. Henri is the best human- she’s kind, sweet, funny, a little weird and totally owns it! And she writes paranormal romance novels, which really makes me want to read one.
Luca is a hot baseball player who is cynical about love, and doesn’t want to get married. However, he can’t help but fall in love with Henri because she is awesome just the way she is.
2. Luca shows his Italian heritage by using food words when he curses ( fu.. on a lasagna, Jesus on a cannoli, Christ on a parmesan sandwich, Jesus on a tiramisu)
3. Tiktok Nonna, enough said.
4. Mackenzie from Jock Blocked plays a big role here.
5. There’s the adorable Dogzilla, Henry’s cat who dresses up in costumes
6. Reference to Pippa’s Jamie Farrell town of Bliss , the Bridal Capital of the Midwest
7. We finally find out the new official mascot of the Fireballs! 🔥

The Grumpy Player Next Door by Pippa Grant
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finally, Tillie Jean’s book is here!

Tillie Jean is smart, beautiful, talented, and cares a lot about her family and friends. She lives in Shipwreck, the pirate town, which has a lot of interesting characters. Max is a pitcher for the Fireballs, who is renting the house next to Tillie Jean during the off season. Tillie Jean is also the little sister on Cooper, the guy who has helped Max a lot.

I love “The Grumpy Player Next Door”. I love how Tillie Jean and Max annoy each other, not realizing that they really like the other. It might have taken them 4 years to get together, but it was worth it. We also get to learn more about Shipwreck and its residents, and there are a lot of pranks between TJ, Cooper, and Max. So many funny pranks! We get to visit with the Fireballs player and WAGS (wives and girlfriends), like Brooks and Mackenzie, and Luca and Henri. The Fireballs mascots are , too, specially the cute and adorable Ash, the baby dragon. She even has a card game, “Go, Ash, Go”.

Pippa Grant is an amazing author! She is hilarious and awesome. You get to see how talented Pippa is with TGPND. It is a romantic comedy, but she also writes about issues that is relatable. In TGPND, Max is dealing with anxiety. Pippa tackled Anxiety with love and compassion. Pippa Grant is truly a wonderful author.

Oh, Cooper, Cooper, Cooper…

You made us wait years for your story. I am very happy to say that
your story was worth the wait.

Cooper, for most people, you are a bit tooo much. For Waverly, though,
you are just the right amount. I love how you protect, take care,
and prioritize Waverly over anyone else. ❤️

You lived up to the hype, and you're a true hero, Cooper.

5 Stars for Irresistible Trouble by Pippa Grant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have Yourself a Grumpy Little Christmas by Pippa Grant

We’ve read about Trevor in several books already, and now we finally find out his story.
He is dealing with the end of his baseball career, and trying to find himself. Trevor is doing all these during the holidays, which he hates, and trapped with holiday-loving Meg, whom he’s been trying to resist for a long time. It is a delight to read how Pippa gave Trevor his HEA.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 by Pippa Grant is a hilarious set of baseball rom-coms full of shenanigans, pranks, awesome characters and plenty of romance. I reviewed all four full-length novels plus the bonus epilogue…

𝐉𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 is the laugh out loud funny first book, featuring an enemies to lovers rom-com for virgin hero Brooks and super-fan Mackenzie. This book won me over immediately with its quirky characters, OTT superstitions, mascot hijinks, and forbidden spicy chemistry! As a dog person, I loved Coco Puff, and his talking collar, so much!! I wish that was a real thing I could buy for my dogs!😂 It was a fantastic way to start the series, and I knew with the found family vibe already existing that the other books would be amazing, too! — ★★★★★

𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 is Henri and Luca’s book, a Grumpy/Sunshine, fake relationship rom-com. Henri is a love-obsessed paranormal romance writer with multiple failed engagements under her belt, and Luca has a hilarious meddling TikTok Nonna determined to make him settle down. It’s always fun to watch a grumpy hero fall! I loved Luca and Henri together, with a sweet and spicy romance! The fun was never-ending with all the quirky characters, continued mascot shenanigans, and a costume wearing cat! — ★★★★★

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐨𝐫 is a slow burn, enemies to lovers, Grumpy/Sunshine rom-com for Max and Tillie Jean. Max is a Pitcher on the Fireballs and best friend of Cooper Rock, while Tillie Jean is Cooper’s sister. Cooper and Tillie Jean are famous for their pranks against each other, and when Max moves in next door to TJ during the off-season, he gets caught in the crossfire of an epic prank starting a whole new war. I enjoyed the Will-They-or-Won’t-They tension between them, as well as they underlying emotion. There was so much fun to be had in this book… pranks, goats, team camaraderie, small town quirks, and more. It was the perfect blend of fun, emotion, and sweet and spicy romance! — ★★★★★

𝐈𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 is a hilarious second chance baseball rom-com for Cooper and Waverly. Waverly is a famous pop star who had a brief relationship with Cooper 8 years ago that culminated in a broken heart. But what is the truth about what happened back then, and can they work things out now? Cooper has been an intriguing character for a long time, and his story was a blast! They had plenty of spicy chemistry and a palpable connection. I loved the way Waverly and Cooper supported each other. Don’t worry the humorous pranks and hijinks that made this series so lovable are just as present in this book as well.😂 The team camaraderie that I love so much was amazing in this book as well. I’m super curious about young Diego, since this is billed as a complete series. I’d love to know more about him! — ★★★★★

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 is a Grumpy/Sunshine, best friend’s sister, holiday novella for Trevor and Meg. Trevor is still reeling from his retirement from baseball and recovering from his injury. He’s basically an anti-Christmas Grinch, trapped in a house with a Christmas-loving temptress that he’s trying to not be attracted to. What could possibly go wrong?😉 Their story was a fun little holiday romance, with great banter, chemistry, and some surprises!! I just wish it was longer! — ★★★★★

Don’t miss the download at the end that includes all the bonus epilogues plus extra bonus material for each story!!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

This entire series is fantastic! Careful where you read/listen because you will be laughing out loud or fanning your face!!

Jock blocked
This book is freaking hysterical with many laugh out loud moments.

Mackenzie and Brooks are such a delight; Pippa takes us on a wonderful journey with these two.

Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan are fantastic narrators for the audiobook. The personality and emotion they being to each character is wonderful.

The bonus epilogues are amazing!

Real Fake Love
There are so many laugh out loud moments in this book. Henri is weird, quirky and so lovable. She is unlucky in love and refuses to fall for another man. Luca is a baseball player who is focused on his game and trying to stay away from his meddling family - mom and grandma.

Pippa takes us on a crazy adventure with these two and it was so fun, crazy and entertaining. I adore this series and the characters. The cover model for this book is smokin hot!

The Grumpy Player Next Door
This is my favorite book in the series…up to this point.

Tillie Jean is so much goodness wrapped up into an amazing character. I love the antics between her and Cooper and the trouble it gets her into.

Max is a grumpy, football player who doesn’t want to be bothered…especially by Tillie Jean - his neighbor.

This book will bring you so much joy, so many laughs and some fantastic passion. I always say that glitter is the herpes of crafting because you can never get rid of it…very applicable in this book! Lol

I adore these characters and this series. Can’t wait for the next book.

Irresistible Trouble
Irresistible Trouble is sooooo good. I have read the entire series and have always wanted to read Cooper’s story. I always had a feeling he was tough on the outside but a softy in the inside.

Waverly and Cooper have a past and there are some hard feelings. However the two of them have a connection, strong chemistry and are pulled to one another. Pippa writes these characters with beautify, angst and passion.

There are so many laugh out loud moments - literally. The pranks are so cringy, over the top and hysterical. Cooper is getting a bit of payback for all of his pranks he’s pulled on his family/teammates.

I loved the Cameron appearances from the other characters/teammates in the series. I adore the love and friendship and how Pippa writes these memorable characters.

Highly recommend this book along with the rest of the books on the series.…these boys are hot, hot, hot!

Have Yourself a Grumpy Little Christmas
What a fun and fantastic novella to get you in the holiday spirit…or not. I love Pippa’s writing because she will make you laugh, soon and fall in love with her characters.

Meg is a spitfire and your can’t help but like her or be in a good mood while she rambles about everything…she is so positive and upbeat.

Trevor is a grump, Christmas hating and injured baseball player that wants nothing to do with the holidays. His new roommate, Meg, is driving him crazy in more ways than one.

The banter, sass, overall dialogue and the journey to falling in love is fabulous. Even though this is a novella you will get a full story full of love.

I’ve read all of this series and loved it! Here are my reviews by book:
Jock Blocked
Pippa hit this one out of the park! This is the first in the Cooper Valley Fireballs series, the worst baseball team in the league. Brooks Elliot has been playing baseball in New York for his whole career. He is very superstitious, so every time he tries to get intimate with a woman, his game suffers, so he has abstained and is now a thirty year old virgin. When he is traded to the worst team in the league, the Cooper Valley Fireballs, he figures now is time to get rid of his V-Card. MacKenzie Montana is the Fireballs number one fan, and is determined to have Brooks keep it in his pants to help lead the Fireballs to victory. This book has a ton of laughs, and will brighten your day.

Real Fake Love
Pippa Grant hit it out of the ballpark! Henrietta Bacon in a romance author who loves romance so much she is on failed engagement number five. Luca Rossi is a pro baseball player whose disastrous engagement has soured him on love. After two run ins with Luca, Henri decides to ask Luca Rossi for lessons on how not to fall in love. Of course, you throw in a crazy TikTok nonna, an evil eye, a fake relationship and hilarity ensues. I loved this installment of Copper Valley Fireballs series. Bottom line, if you want a funny sweet escape, this book is for you.

The Grumpy Player next Door
Pippa Grant is one of my go to authors for a hilarious RomCom. This book continues her winning streak. Tillie Jean Rock is the sister of baseball superstar Cooper Rock. She lives to annoy her brother and his teammate Max Cole. Every chance she gets, she shamelessly flirts with Max, and it gets under his skin, and an added bonus of irritating her brother. Max has 467 reasons to hate Tillie Jean, but the main reason is that she is his best friend’s sister and completely off limits. Tillie is easy to like, she is funny, sweet and caring. Where Pippa shines is with characters like Max. Max is the grumpy neighbor in the title, but the grumpiness hides some deeper problems . This book has a lot of laughs but also touches on some complex issues.

Irresistible Trouble

In all of the books leading up to this one, I couldn’t help but love Cooper Rock. He has taken his hometown baseball team from last place to almost winning the World Series. This year, they are on track to win. What may get in Cooper’s way, the woman that got away, Pop Star Waverly Sweet. Cooper and Waverly are such likable characters, you really want to see them get to the happily ever after. Like all of Pippa Grant’s books, there are lots of laughs, pranks and cameo’s from her other series. Definitely a fun book.

I've already had the chance to listen to the first four books of the series and I enjoyed them. The bonus novella is a great addition to the series. I highly recommend this collection!

Jock Blocked: This is the first book in the Copper Valley Fireballs Series, a Sports Romance and Romantic Comedy. Brooks and Mackenzie's story is hilarious, sweet and heartwarming. This happiness was exactly what I needed right now! Brooks is a handsome baseball player, and a virgin hero (yes, you read it right!). MacKenzie is such a fun and sassy/crazy baseball fan!I love them both! I like their banter, and their strong chemistry. This is a feel good story, and probably my favorite by this author. I highly recommend it! We need more books like this one! Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan did a fantastic job with the narration.

Real Fake Love: This is the second book in the Cooper Valley Fireballs Series, a Sports Romance and Romantic Comedy. HILARIOUS!! This book is absolutely hilarious! I love the characters! The storyline is captivating. No dull moments in this one! Jason Clarke and Virginia Rose did an amazing job with the narration.

The Grumpy Player Next Door: This is the third book in the Copper Valley Fireballs Series, a Sports Romantic Comedy set in a Small Town. This is a great enemies-to-lovers romcom and brother's best friend romance. Tillie Jean (TJ) and Max's story is funny, sweet, and heartwarming. I liked the characters, and the humor. TJ's family is amazing. This is a sweet and beautifully written romance. Savannah Peachwood and Wen Ross did an amazing job with the narration.

Irresistible Trouble: This is the fourth book in the Copper Valley Fireballs Series, a Sports Romantic Comedy set in a Small Town. I loved Cooper and Waverly's story! Cooper is such a great guy, caring, and supportive. Waverly is beautiful, smart, and caring. They complement each other, and they are perfect together. The story is sweet, funny, sexy, and heartwarming. Mackenzie Cartwright and Connor Crais did an excellent job with the narration.

Have Yourself A Grumpy Little Christmas: This novella is part of the Copper Valley Fireballs Series, a Sports Romantic Comedy set in a Small Town. I liked this short novella. Trevor and Meg's story is entertaining, fun, and passionate. Emma Wilder and Teddy Hamilton did an excellent job bringing this short story to life.

This is a box set of The Copper Valley Fireballs series, which includes four books in one. The team just wrapped up the worst season in baseball and is on a mission to do better. (Tripp and Lila's story is told in The Bro Code series, book 3. They are the team's owners and presidents.) The entire set is full of laughs, funny pets, quirky characters, and plenty of spice.

The first book is Jock Blocked, which is Brook Elliot's story. He was just traded to the Fireballs and isn't happy about it. He has his superstitions and meets Mackenzie, the biggest fan ever to live. Their story is adorable, and I loved seeing it unfold while they both fought their demons. I'd say this is my favorite of the four.

Real Fake Love is the second book, and this is Luca's story. He has bounced around from team to team and is hoping this is where he'll stay. And then his grandma unleashes "The Eye" on him, which must be an Italian thing because I've never heard of it. In comes Henrietta (Henri), the odd writer. They met briefly when her fifth wedding was a $hitshow because the groom was in love with Luca's mom. She carried this one with her absolutely weird and awkward personality. Probably the third favorite of the four.

Book three, The Grumpy Player Next Door, is about Max, a team pitcher, and Tillie Jean Rock (sister of Cooper Rock, whom we've met many times before). This one seems to focus on her more than him, and it's probably my least favorite of the series. She's pretty annoying, and Max is pretty much just boring and no fun at all.

The finale, book four, is Irresistible Trouble, Cooper Rock's story. It starts with Cooper and Waverley meeting eight years after a three-day fling before he was ghosted. She's a mega-super pop star, and he just wants their team to go to the World Series. She has many stomach issues, which almost seems to be the main character entirely separate. Putting that aside, I loved the way they came back together and worked to be what each other needed. My second favorite of the four.

I love Pippa's books because they are good laughs and have good spice, and this series ticked those boxes. We get to see all the characters weave through the four books, which also adds to the overall story.

4.25 stars for the set.

38 Plus hours of heat and hilarity!
It's baseball season, you need this. 5 awesome stories, 38+ hours of narration from some of the absolute best in the business. You cannot go wrong. Below are my thoughts on some of the stories in no particular order of awesomeness because spoiler alert, they are ALL awesome! Even if you listened to all of them before, get the collection for the bonus novella available in audio only in this collection. I won't spoil anything for you but the end- worth it!

Grumpy Player Next Door
I have no idea how Pippa Grant manages to balance to heart and humor but she does it brilliantly. This brother’s best friend romance deals with serious issues like anxiety and childhood neglect but balances them with a profane pirate and wacky townspeople. It’s another treasure to be found in Shipwreck, VA.

The narration is incredible, Savannah Peachwood and Wen Ross bring to life the vulnerable nuances to the characters that sometimes get missed when you are only reading Pippa’s stories and not hearing them. They also nail the humor and wackiness that are Pippa Grant hallmarks.

Real Fake Love
As usual Pippa Grant brings the hilarity and heart to a story. Jason Clarke and Virginia Rose were superb as always. Warning- don’t listen to chapter 11 in public. I want to live in Copper Valley.

Irresistible Trouble
As an ardent Pippa Grant fan, I knew that Cooper Rock's story had been a long time coming. He is a special character and deserved the perfect story. Irresistible Trouble delivers on all fronts. As always, Pippa melds humor and heart perfectly. Cooper has shown himself to be a larger than life character in cameo roles in other books. Here, we see the vulnerability and insecurity underneath it. Waverly Sweet is the perfect foil for him. She has her own issues to deal with while presenting the perfect pop princess persona. I can't imagine a more perfect pairing for these two characters.

The narration is top notch as always. Mackenzie Cartwright and Connor Crais are longtime favorites from Kayley Loring books and they brought their magic to this story. I just finished listening this morning and am ready to listen again.

Romantic comedy AND baseball ...tis the season to enjoy some smexy pants and watch those bats and balls 😉 I mean catch up on some great reading. 😁

Can I say seriously when it comes to this series, because I laughed more when I read these books and my laughter is unladylike to the extreme.
Anywho....

1. Jock Blocked is a unicorn pinata jammed full of glittery happiness and fun!! I laughed, giggled, and snorted unlady like through the entire book and loved every minute of it!

2. Real Fake Love is such a good time you won't be able to keep yourself from smiling, and laughing. Pippa Grant gives us the best opposing forces in the grouchiest, grumpiest hero that you cannot help but love and matches him with the happiest, full of sunshine and sprinkles heroine that I'm fairly certain is Pippa's inner Id. It's hilarious! Snort-laugh-out-loud, make your sides hurt, hilarious fun!

3. Pippa always, ALWAYS, brings a HUGE smile to my face and she has once again made me smile, laugh, and chortle through her newest book, TGPND.The family, the cameos, the pranks, everything brought a huge grin to my face, especially making Max smile.

4. #TeamWoorperly and do you know what makes that ship name even cuter? Cooper Rock himself is the one who coined it. All the heart emoji's...drop dead in all the cuteness...Cooper Rock is one ooooey, gooey man ball of falling in love. YES!! Cooper Rock is finally here!! He's been evading us with only cameos and fun loving easter eggs, but it's finally time and his story is perfectly perfect for the rock god of baseball.

The pranks, the family, the love, and of course the baseball players, it all made for a fantastic interconnected series.

The Copper Valley Fireballs: Complete Series has all four of the hilarious Copper Valley Fireballs books in one place, plus a fantastic novella that was previously only available on Pippa's website.

JOCK BLOCKED
As a baseball fan, I LOVED Makenzie's love of the Fireballs and strict adherence to all the superstitions, especially in making sure Brooks sticks to his. In true Pippa Grant fashion, Brooks Elliott and Makenzie deliver with all the laughs, the heart, and somehow... the mascots.

REAL FAKE LOVE
Real Fake Love is both hilarious and heartwarming! Henri and Luca have so much chemistry together, and their hilarious banter is so entertaining. Plus, Dogzilla (yes, Dogzilla) and Nonna both crack me up! Sneak some baseball players and talk about vampire books in there, and you can't keep me away.

THE GRUMPY PLAYER NEXT DOOR
A grumpy baseball player, pranks possibly getting out of control, and so, so much glitter? I am in. I do love a grumpy/sunshine, so Max and Tillie Jean may just be my favorite of the Copper Valley Fireballs so far. I'm not sure I've laughed harder through a Pippa Grant book than this one, or swooned as much as at Max Cole. Did I mention the parrot that swears?

IRRESISTIBLE TROUBLE
Aawww, Wooperly! Irresistible Trouble is a funny, heartfelt story, not only for Waverly and Cooper, but for the Copper Valley Fireballs themselves. The entire Rock family is hilarious, and Cooper Rock finally getting his happy ending is just what this series needed, plus Waverly is his perfect, delightful heroine.

HAVE YOURSELF A GRUMPY LITTLE CHRISTMAS
I knew I was going to love Trevor Stafford when he's described as "Grinchy Trevor." Mia is the sunshine to Trevor's holiday-hating grumpy, and I love their dynamic in this best friend's sister holiday novella. As per usual with Pippa Grant, I could not stop laughing as I fell in love with Mia and Trevor as they navigate the holidays, retirement, and the Berger's quadzeuslets.

Pippa Grant is the one I turn to when I need a good laugh with a feel good romance. She never disappoints, crosses characters over that I have come to love and always makes me feel like I am part of the crowd. This series is fantastic! Jock Block started me off with Mackenzie, the overly superstitious fan and Brooks, the recently traded to the Fireballs player. Mackenzie knows something about Brooks that will bring the team to a winning season, but will he continue the superstition? Real Fake Love gave me Luca and Henri, the fake relationship that had extreme chemistry, witty banter and TikTok Noni giving the extra laughs. The Grumpy Player Next Door has the teammate's sister Tillie Jean and Max blasting my ears with chemistry, pranks, glitter, sassy parrot, family and that small town feel, Irresistible Trouble gives the second chance romance between Cooper and Waverly all the feels along with laugh out loud scenes. And finally Have Yourself a Grumpy Little Christmas, Trevor takes in his best friend's sister Meg as a temporary roommate. Can her Christmas cheer bring out the best in this grumpy baseball player? Laugh and love, that is what Pippa Grant is all about and it's a fabulous series.

All all star cast of narrators brings out the best in all of these characters. Andi Arndt, Jacob Morgan, Virginia Rose, Jason Clarke, Savannah Peachwood, Wen Ross, Connor Crais, Mackenzie Cartwright, Teddy Hamilton, and Emma Wilder each had my loving and laughing as they brought to life this amazing series.

I absolutely loved the Copper Valley Fireballs series it is hilarious. I cannot remember the last time I laughed as hard as I did reading this series. In the first book, Jock Blocked Mackenzie is a die hard Fireballs fan, who has gone so far as so start a petition to keep Fiery the Dragon as the team's mascot. She has done some other things that are hilarious but I will let you read it to find out. This was probably my favorite of the series if I'm being honest.

Real Fake Love, I wasn't sure how to feel in the beginning but the further I got into it the more I liked these characters. Luca and Henri are a bit quirky but still so much fun.

The Grumpy Player Next Door was hilarious and so much fun to read. There were so many pranks that just made the book so much better. There was so much banter that you can't help but love them.

Irresistible Trouble is up there in my favorite of the series, I think it ties with Jock Blocked. I laughed so hard it made me cry in this book. I just absolutely loved it ... alright maybe it was my favorite. SOO good. I have loved Cooper throughout the series and I was excited for him to finally get his book. Next to Brooks, Cooper was one of my favorite characters in the series.

Have Yourself a Grumpy Little Christmas was so cute to read and a great addition to the series. I really enjoyed this bonus novella.

Received ARC in exchange for voluntary honest review from Pippa Grant and Give Me Books.

The best way to enjoy the Copper Valley Fireballs in one place. Each story alone completely worth the read. Between superstitious fan, multiple mascots looking to be the next Fireball mascot, a 5-time bride, a TikTok famous Nonna, the little sister of the ultimate Fireball player and a Pop-sensation the ball-players have their work cut out for them on and off the field in this box series.

Jock Blocked - superstitious fan Mackenize is trying desperately to save the mascot Fiery from retirement and "help" the team win by keeping newest Fireball Brooke hot hitting streak alive.

Real Fake Love - Luca's Nonna is out to put the evil eye on him and his anti-love stance. Henri Bacon is a writer who can't help be a bride all the time. Determined to not be a 6-time bride & help Luca avoid the evil eye they've agreed to fake being a couple.

Grumpy Player Next Door - starting pitcher Max has moved in next door to his teammate's little sister. With some epic pranks in the off season between the sun-shiny, happy go-luck girl next door Cooper it's gonna be an off season to remember

Irresistible Trouble - Cooper Rock finally gets his girl, the ever-famous pop sensation Waverly Street. After a memorable meeting years earlier, and criss-crossing the country to find time for each other, moments together are rocking!!

It's so hard to pick a favourite from this one because they're all so good. Plus you get an extra bonus novella! If you haven't read this before, it's full of hilarious characters getting up to all sorts of shenanigans. And there are a few special pets to make things extra interesting. I was never much of a fan of baseball romance before reading this but these guys definitely converted me.

I didn't read these in order initially (yes I've read them before so this was a re-read) so Real Fake Love will always be a favourite, but The Grumpy Player Next Door is too because I just loved Max and Tillie Jean so much. But then of course we have Irresistible Trouble and the man who made us wait so long... Cooper Rock. But the start, with Jock Blocked? So much fun!

If you're a fan of sports romance or rom coms that make you laugh out loud then this fits the bill perfectly. Plus it's a great way to get the whole series so you can binge read them. Pippa's writing flows really nicely and is so easy to read. Her books are always top of the list when I need something fun and engaging. The perfect summer read!

Pippa Grant creates the most wonderful, hilarious, and slightly awkward characters that are full of heart. I love this series of stories that follow a group of baseball players for a well loved but not well performing baseball team. The best part of these stories are the characters from the entire world- the stories are ensemble cast romances where we see our favorites over and over again.

My favorite story in this series is irresistable trouble- sunshine/sunshine cast that made me smile nonstop. And Cooper Rock was a character that I was waiting for anxiously and his story was perfection. I absolutely loved it and it was the perfect way to cap off the series.

That's not to say that the rest of the series wasn't wonderful- each story built on the other and whet my appetite for more peeks into this wonderful, amusing world. Think laugh out loud scenes followed by plenty of swoons and just stories that feel like hugs from your favorite fictional friends. What a great collection of stories!

Pippa Grant never does things the easy way...... Especially falling in love!

Jock Blocked #1
A fantastic series starter! With laughs....loads of laughs.....and Brooks! Enough said!

Real Fake Love #2
There are so many fun fabulous side bars in this book that sometimes it is hard to see the happy ever after coming. Henri is a lovable heroine who you would love in real life..... Luca is HAWT and not in touch with his heart..... but together they find a crazy wild ride!

The Grumpy Player #3
Max…..Max…..Max…..what are we going to do with you! Tillie Jean is the perfect answer. You will snort laugh, squee and cringe in disbelief during this wild ride of a story that takes you to the HEA.

Irrestible Trouble #4
The long awaited story of Cooper finally meeting his match! Cooper is a much loved character in Copper Valley and honestly most of PGs fans hearts. How the mighty fall is probably one if a Pippa Grants best stories ever! We get to catch up with sooooo many others in Cooper Valley the cameos are out of this world! Buckle up cause it is a wild ride!

Great collection.

All of these books are funny and quirky - kinda like Pippa Grant...LOL.

Fave of this series is: Irresistible Trouble which features Cooper Rock.

Hit it out of the ballpark!

It is rare that an author can deliver such a great story for such a highly anticipated character. Almost anyone who has read the Bro Code series or any of the sports series from Copper Valley has fallen in love with Cooper and his antics. He is just the penultimate!!

And wow - did this one satisfy all my yearnings for his story. He was outrageous as usual and Waverly was so sweet, but such a hot mess. Pippa Grant sure knows how to capture that type of woman well!

New to me was the novella which was quick, quirky, and full of holiday craziness. Meg was full of cheer while Trevor was full of crankiness - definitely another grumpy/sunshine story.

Really you can't go wrong with any of these stories. They are sure to bring a smile to your face and all in one collection.

I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy.

I’ve read all of these books when they came out and can easily recommend them as good choices for readers looking for stories with well thought out main characters along with supportive side characters, really funny banter, and plenty of feel good moments. Grant knows how to write romance without a doubt.
But since I’ve already read this collection, what led me to this set was the bonus novella that somehow I was unaware existed. Not sure how that happened; but once I saw it, I knew I had to read it …even though it is a holiday story and this is July. I don’t read Christmas books in the middle of the year, but I wasn’t going to wait until December to find out what was up with Trevor and Meg.
The grumpy/sunshine trope is one I like and have found that Grant is good at writing it. This was another example of that entertaining sort of pairing. Also, the fact that Meg is the nanny for Zeus and Joey was a spectacular surprise. Why? Because Zeus was able to work his way into their romance with a cameo appearance. It made him happy, and me happy. Love that man and all of his shenanigans.

A friend recommended I listen to this series as it was on sale and the narrators were amazing....she did not steer me wrong! There are 4 books in this series and I fell in love with every single couple haha. This series has some amazing mental health rep and if you know me, I love anything with mental health as I too struggle with depression and anxiety. The characters are relatable, their stories have depth and the banter is perfection. I’m not really into baseball but each story held my attention, lots of hilarity and plenty of spice, you can’t go wrong with this series! I think Henri is probably my favorite character, she’s quirky, awkward but has a heart of gold. I related to her the most as I’m most certainly awkward, she’s a writer, I’m an artist. When we love, we love with our whole hearts. The pranks are hilarious, so wild! These books made me laugh and smile, and tear up. I highly recommend!

This series is one of my all time fav!!! I have read/listened to it 5 times now, with no sign of stopping anytime soon. And this has a bonus novella!

Jock Blocked - Baseball player/fan, virgin MC, superstitions, mascot antics, rom com. And amazing spice and tension.

real Fake Love - Baseball player/romance writer, hopeless romantic vs cynic, TikTok grandma, forced proximity, and amazing spice.

Grumpy Player Next Door - Enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, pranks, goats, gnomes and spice! Oh and brother's teammate!!!

Irresistible Trouble - Finally, it is Cooper's turn!!!! Baseball player with lots of confidence, pop star, 2nd chance, and hot spicy times.

Grumpy Little Christmas Bonus Novella - I am so happy Trevor gets a HEA! Opposites attract, forbidden crushes, finally giving in.

Cute Christmas novella where poor Trevor, the injured Fireballs pitcher, is out from playing baseball, but at least gets an HEA with his forever crush and best friend’s little sister, Meg. He digs deep for some holiday spirit to make it special for her even though he hates Christmas. And people on this team and in this town really need to learn how to knock and wait for someone to answer the door before they barge in, or they’re probably going to see a couple banging.

The narration for all the audiobooks was perfect. Seriously all star cast and I enjoyed the 38+ hours of swoony voices.

This is the BEST series! I loved every second of it! The little holiday novella at the end is just the cream of the crop. Each story just blows me away with how entertaining, heartfelt and funny they are. I mean that whole mascot thing is BRILLIANT! The characters are lively and memorable. They all go to such lengths for their significant other. Its a toss up between Henri and MacKenzie as my favorite female leads! They bring the hilariousness to the story. As for the males Luca (worried about getting the “EYE” from Nonna) or Max (finally getting in on the pranks) are my two favorites.

Anyway I highly recommend because how lucky to get the whole series in one swoop! Trust me…its worth the laughs.

I have enjoyed reading so many of Pippa Grant's books, and this series most definitely contains some of my favorites she's written.

This collection contains four full length books and a novella. Each story is sweet, hilarious, and so much fun with a wonderful cast of characters that are easy to love. One of my favorite things about Pippa's books is how they are all interconnected. As you read each book you get to know so many great characters whose HEAs you can't wait to read as the series progresses. Even if you haven't read Pippa's books before you can jump in here and you won't be lost. I can't recommend this series enough!
