الكتاب ممتع و مفيد . طريقة تقديمه للمعلومة كانت جذابة . أعجبني أن الكاتب قام أولا بتزويد القارئ بالخلفية المعلوماتية المطلوبة لفهم الذاكرة و طريقة عملها قبل أن يقدم طرق تحسين الذاكرة .
مما تعلمته من الكتاب و اقتبسته : العناصر الغذائية التي تساعد على تحسين الذاكرة تشمل : فيتامين سي و إي و بي (1-3-6-12) ، و البورون و المغنيسيوم و الزنك و أوميغا 3 . كل هذا يمكن إيجاده في الأطعمة التالية : الحمضيات ، الجزر ، السبانخ ، زيوت الخضروات ، الأسماك الزيتية التونة و السردين ، زيت الزيتون ، الحليب ، السمك ، التفاح ، البازلاء .

As a community college. graduate, I found nothing new here for me, except for the list of brain healthy foods. That, and that you should only be slightly out of breath after exercise. I wanted a lot of new mnemonic devices. Nothing good here.

For example, study a foreign language, prepare for a qualification exam, get good quality sleep, eat whole foods, exercise, meditate, use mind maps, etc.
I found some parts in this book useful and other parts a bit silly. But maybe that is because it will not help me to remember a phone number by (i.e.) letting the numbers dance in my head. Nor can I have a planner that takes place for at least three months in my brain, I do not think that that is healthy either.
This book contains information that I deem interesting and worth learning.

Somehow an average book considering the exercises provided in the book to improve memory didn't help me to recall the contents of the book after I finished reading it :)
This was a good refresher for me. The best tidbit of information I didn't know about was when to review - an hour, a day, a week, a month, 3 months, and 6 months - to keep recall up at about 80%. I'm going to try this with a dated card file box I have for Spanish vocabulary.
A couple of years ago, I spent some time building a date recall system I call CAT - creature action thing - and I'd like to return to it and build it up more. I guess now's the time!
It´s so basic, don`t help very much, It´s a good super brief introduction for memory training though. The pretty pictures and well organized text made me read all the book.
