"The only recourse left to the innovator was the deliberate exploitation of the absurd while appearing completely serious"

This book is a really interesting collection of essays relevant to Duchamp's artistic career. My rating would be much higher if the 50+ pages of reproductions of his work were in color as they were in the original French edition.
