Rachel Grace Pollack was an American science fiction author, comic book writer, and expert on divinatory tarot. Pollack was a great influence on the women's spirituality movement.
Had tears welled up in my eyes the entire time at the sheer beauty of it all. My god, we need more trans women writing comics, Rachel Pollack was an incredible, inimitable treasure, what a tour de force of a woman, a writer, an artist, a singular presence felt in each page here. I'm gonna track down her Doom Patrol run immediately.
woah! my uncle gave me this to check out. i don’t read a lot of comics but have enjoyed what i read, and i really liked this. very cool, very interesting background information. the dolls were so interesting and wild and scary, and there were a lot of great characters to explore. i really appreciated how they dealt with the villain dr. abuse. great quick read!
