I bought this book during my first visit to Paris from Shakespeare and Company as a souvenir, and I also got it stamped. I loved how stylish and good-looking people were in general there, so I thought I should return with a book about fashion, or something closely related to it.

Overall, it was a nice and rather quick read. I read it every day on my way to and back from university.

The book does not necessarily tell you how to wear something or what matches with what, but it carries this theme of encouraging you to look within yourself and express who you are through what you wear — of course from the perspective of Coco Chanel, whom we all love.

I also liked the illustrations, and it was simply a fun read. Just do not expect anything too intellectually challenging; it feels more like reading a magazine and having a good time while doing it.
